back at it again with the re-up.

After a short finals/exams hiatus for our players, we have picked back up and are excited to welcome new players to the family.

From now on, feel free to format which ever way you want when RPing. We know that we’ve always held a standard of third person past-tense in this RP but we understand sometimes you just don’t have the juices to be writing three paragraphs per reply. Third person past tense writing is to help you hone your writing skills, but not everyone who is in an RP has that as a goal, some just want to RP so we will not be finnicky about details!

You are not required to have a para going at any given time, though we would like you to have something going on with your characters.

Gif chats are encouraged and welcomed.

Please stick to THIRD PERSON narrative.

You can do para form or script.

You can do present or past tense.

Please just be mindful of the person you are interacting with to make sure they don’t prefer you stick to the same format. 

The goal of this change is to really just eliminate any technicalities so we can just enjoy roleplaying instead of fussing with details and stuff.

P.S All app samples must still be in 3rd person past tense.

Happy Monday, sweetpeas! We are ONE WEEK AWAY FROM THE RE-UP. There have been an alarming amount of you who have were on the inactivity list who have not contacted us about your role! We will be assuming you want to keep the role until May 30th, 2016. If you do not post by then, or do not let us know what you’d like to do. We will open up these roles! So please, hit an admin up pls!

I love seeing all these writing tasks being posted!! I hope they are helping you with the musings! For the others who I haven’t seen in the past few days on the dash please make sure you read THIS post and also THIS post. The DREAMS AU post can be found HERE.

We’re only a week and a half out until the re-up!! I will be attempting to get some new graphics out and we’ll see if we can get some new players to join the fambam.

Smother Dreams AU

Starting May 18, 2016 to May 30th, 2016, Smother RPG will be going through a Dreams AU. This is optional for those who want a chance play out AU plots that will not effect the canon plot. Please follow the guidelines below as was posted in this post earlier this week.

Please come up with THREE AU PLOTS you would like to do and tag them as #smotherauweek. 

We would like if AT LEAST one plot is done with a player /character you have not plotted with before.

Please have only ONE (or none) of those AU plots be with your ship partner. Ships are great, but please remember this is an RPG, not your 1x1 rp.

All AU plots played out will be considered dreams in which your God(s) will wake up from with full memory of them. 

All dreams must end by May 30th, 2016, this means all threads must be off the dash by the morning of May 31st, 2016. 

You can move your threads to a chatzy if you aren’t done, or HC them.

Tying to the plot-drop

If your character has been active and developing threads/plots with their powers and you chose to do the AU week, your character can wake up and go back to business as usual. The AU will act just as an extra plotting activity for you.

If you did not get a chance to get into the power plot-drop, you can have your character awaken from the dreams and discover their powers after they wake up.

If you are deciding to do a blank slate, please talk to us before hand so we know, then you can go about business as usual with whatever direction you want to take.

This is optional. If you would not like to participate, you are more than welcome to wait out the next week and a half. However, we do encourage you do the writing tasks published in the inspo blog in the meantime, however.
