The days were long that time of year, and Anna loved it. She thrived in the sunlight, and it felt so good to have it warming her face as she walked along the grassy path through the woods. She was quite a ways from the village, far from Arendelle castle, and figured now would be as good a time as any to stop for a moment. She skipped over the rut where countless wagon wheels had tread and made her way toward a birch tree to lean against it.
