I think it should be a trend for alterhumans to fight each other with their theriotypes/kintypes like pokemon cards

The eternal struggle of knowing you had horns/one of your kintypes does but all you have is a vague phantom shift to go off of and uncertain feelings and nothing you can find or draw matches what they look like

Is it just me, seeing all these “how to cope with shifts” “wear a tail to school” etc. videos, thinking that… we can restrain ourselves? In public or at school, I’ve never let out a howl, bark, except subtle canine body behaviour that I do. I’ve never had to distract myself from shifts, or had to wear gear to school or wherever. It paints alterhumans as beings who can’t control these things and would need some kind of special treatment, while basically all of us, adults at least, seem like your normal human being.

Can we PLEASE stop using the terms "rare theriotype" or "common theriotype" it's completely useless and it also probably makes other therians with common theriotypes feel bad. It's like "oh my gosh look a beaver therian!" And then there's "oh..a fox therian. Cool." WE'RE ALL SPECIAL AND RARE IN OUR OWN WAYS! and no matter what. We're all non-humans together.

Being a dragonkin in a relationship:

*placing yourself between your partner and any perceived threat.

*getting almost unreasonably happy when your partner sits in a nest you made.

*considering your partner the most prized thing in your hoard.

*mrrrp to get their attention.

*wanting to drag them into your nest and cuddle them forever and never let them leave.

*glaring at anyone who gives them a dirty look. (how DARE-)

*needing to see them safe and happy when you get home before you can relax.

*showing off your hoard to them so they can see your shinies!
