Clan lore part 3:

SwampClan

Location

The deepest part of the marsh.

They have some dry land, but most of their territory is made up of mud, water, and tall grasses.

They have much less land than BirchClan and StormClan.

Founder

Appearance

Dark muddy brown, gray, and black pelts are common and help cats blend in with the marsh.

Water-resistant fur is a must.

Paws are usually wide, built for swimming.

Tabbies are very common because of the prevalent grasses on their land.

Personality stereotypes

They’re seen as independent loners.

The other Clans see them as unfriendly, but that’s because SwampClan cats are not very talkative in general.

They value intelligence and quick action rather than words, so they don’t speak as often.

They are very proud and would rather suffer in silence than admit they need help.

Beliefs

Every new moon, they sing a lullaby to StarClan, believing that the moon is StarClan’s eye.

They take a more nature-centered approach to religion, and they think that StarClan will return when the Clans and the land are balanced.

They hate StormClan after Bitternstar’s bloody reign.

Clan lore part 2:

StormClan

Location

The largest territory by far.

Consists of much of the swamp and plenty of drier land, including large sections of flower fields and some forest.

Founder

Gathering Storm (Stormstar), the strongest and bravest.

Appearance

Fur comes in shades of black and gray, occasionally with white patterns.

Eye color is usually green or yellow (though the Bitternstar line has orange eyes).

Water-resistant pelts are very common.

Personality Stereotypes

The most ferocious Clan, known for being suspicious of “outsiders,” whether they be from other Clans or beyond.

Values are strength, loyalty, and trust.

They see battle scars as impressive and desirable.

Newtstar is attempting to mend inter-Clan relationships, but it’s hard to break years of taught hatred.

General Clan Lore

Location

A coastal marshland and the adjacent land.

Loosely based on Florida and Louisiana.

Gathering place is still tbd.

The environment looks something like this:

StarClan

The first StarClan cat was Tern, a rogue who died in the storms that brought the Clans together.

It was mysteriously cut off from the Clans shortly after the first leaders gained their nine lives.

Each Clan has their own ideas as to how to communicate with StarClan now and appease them.

The Warrior Code was given to the Clans’ first medicine cat, Moonlit Tree, who died just before StarClan disappeared.

imagine if after the big darkforest battle in a light in the mist, when everything is over, ashfur and bristlefrost are dead, everyone is exhausted and they all lead bramblestar back to camp only for him to get gutted by spotfur right as he steps into camp. in front of everyone. she was so convinced he wouldnt come back and she just found out that bristlefrost is dead and the sight of him enrages her so much she just kills him and she knows all those things he did werent actually him but it just doesnt matter to her. because bristlefrost and stemleaf are dead and by now shes realized nothing in the clans will ever really change and for a moment she thinks that maybe this is the only way to make them listen
