he loves little cat toys so much

#he carries them around (gentle) and shows them to you #it will make him sad if you take them tho. he just wants you to look at them #the cats are not too happy about sharing their toys but considering he is less destructive than them #it's fine #they'll cope

I'm trying not to worry about it but i'm really anxious about leaving Leon for 5 days when I have top surgery

I've been gone for a day before and he was okay staying home with my mom but I've never left overnight and 5 days is quite long.

there is also a lot of preparation training we still need to do like getting him to use the ramp to climb into my bed instead of me lifting his whole 24kg body in there like he is a little baby.

I've also been working on leash manners and being more chill and patient overall but in full honesty i expect a huge step back when i get home.

my mom loves him a lot but she never walks him or works with him so he'll probably just get away with everything + the stress from me being gone and coming home injured i'm really bracing myself for the worst.

it will probably be fine and i'll miss him more than he does me but aaaaaaa

#to be clear i'm not mad at my mom for not walking him #she has physical health issues and leon is very firmly my dog and my responsibility #it's just anxiety inducing because it means she doesn't have a lot of practice in managing him out there #also hoping so hard that i can go home early but it depends on how soon they can pull out the drainage
