People who say "Batman was better without his kids" must really like the whole ELEVEN issues that Bruce had before Dick was introduced because that's the only time he didn't have a kid. Bruce Wayne/Batman was introduced in ’Detective Comics' #27 and Dick Grayson's Robin was introduced in 'Detective Comics’ #38. Dick was around before Alfred existed, if we can have Alfred why can we have the Robins?

The art lovingly portraying Dick as utterly badass and ridiculously good-looking is just more evidence of this being from Tim's point of view, like THAT'S HIS FAVORITE RIGHT THERE.

HELP, I'M LOSING IT, this has been such a fast-paced storyline, it started with Tim getting shot and Bruce having to relive the night Jason died and that got three pages dedicated to it, that massive traumatic event got three pages to tell it, and you know what else got three pages in this storyline? DICK GRAYSON COMING IN TO BE DRAMATIC AS FUCK FOR JUST AS LONG. And not only that, he DROVE HIS BIKE UP OVER THE BATMOBILE JUST SO HE COULD DRAMATICALLY FLIP BACKWARDS OFF IT WHILE SENDING IT FACE FIRST INTO FAILSAFE AND THEN DRAMATICALLY GRAB AN ESCRIMA STICK WHILE BEING BACKLIT BY THE FIRE OF THE EXPLOSION HE JUST CAUSED. AND NEARLY A FULL PAGE OF HIM JUST STANDING THERE DRAMATICALLY BECAUSE JORGE JIMINEZ KNOWS WHAT HE'S ABOUT. Never EVER let anyone tell you Dick Grayson isn't completely over the top dramatic as FUCK and never EVER let anyone tell you comics aren't inherently delightful and hilarious. They are fighting for their lives against aliens and gun-toting murderers and killer robots, but never let it be said that Dick Grayson doesn't know how to fight for his life in STYLE.

One of the funniest things to come out of the live action Titans show has to be the behind the scenes pics because every single one I see of Brenton Thwaites is the most in character depiction of Dick Grayson I've ever seen

Sometimes I think about the fact that Dick Grayson is immortal.

What I mean by this is because when tried to kill him in infinite crisis it backfired so hard it became impossible to kill him. First, they literally had to reverse their decisions because of the fan AND writer backlash.

Then it became impossible for dc to actually ever kill Dick ever again bc Dick Grayson and legacy fans in general are so jumpy that anytime anyone posts ANYTHING about Dick dying everyone gets down DCs throat.

Case 1: the Grayson arc and how they had to switch all the people subscribed to Nightwing to be subscribed to Grayson before Forever Evil happened to reassure the fanbase Dick would be fine and in a book

Case 2: Look at how Didios salty about it LMAO

I mean when you think about it’s insane! DC has killed Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman all get killed without this same amount of backlash, but as soon as they do much as hint at killing Dick, all hell breaks lose.

Instead of killing Dick, Dan Didio made him unkillable and I think that’s beautiful.

Dick Grayson haunts everybody's narrative. He's inescapable. Literally.

But you know who haunts his narrative?

The shadow of a young boy in a robin uniform, who died under a building, carrying his legacy. He didn't know him, he might've, at some point. But not now. Not now when he looks into the cold white lenses of the red helmet. Not now, when he watches him pick up a gun. Not now, when he dons a new name; a new identity.

He didn't know Red Hood.

And as his brother puts back the helmet on, he decides that he's never known him in the first place.

tim drake is not two seconds away from murdering people — he’ll put himself in harms way to prevent others from killing, and is terrified of being pushed to that limit!! he believes in bruce’s ideals!! he did not kill anyone in red robin 2009!!
