So today I learned that you can hear Gwyndolin begging for help while being cannibalized by Aldrich if you stand next to the walls of his room before his boss fight. Miyazaki wtf

'The average necromancer is haunted by 10 ghosts' factoid is a statistical error. The average necromancer is haunted by 0.5 ghosts.
Harrowhark The First (whilom Nonagesimus), the Ninth Saint to serve the King Undying, who created a bubble in the River and is haunted by 200 dead children, the corpse of the Locked Tomb, her dead cavalier, the dead mom of said cavalier, the people who died back at Canaan House and her former cavalier who died in an exploding shuttle is an outlier and should not have been counted.

Also if you are against voting because a revolution would be better, you're right, but are you going to act on that belief or are you using a nebulous "revolution" as a smoke screen so hide any responsibility. I've been hearing about how great the revolution will be, and how current politics doesn't matter because of it, for 8 years now, and I know it's been going on for longer than I've heard it. If the revolution is so great and so close to happening then light the fuse and take a shot at your state representative, if you don't then realise you have to make your steps somewhere
Keeping this untagged so I can keep this away from most people, but I am so fucking broken by the political landscape right now especially with the US. I'm from Canada, we have our own problems, but we really are America lite and that means whatever happens down south changes Canada as well. Our politics, our economy, our culture, all of it is a reflection of the US, and if Trump gets back in it will make at the very least parts of Canada incredibly risky for me to live in because it will embolden the UCP, and we will get the exact same propaganda pushed around in the US.
This is why the non voters upset me so much, I understand that you don't have the benefits of something like the NDP that can try and pull the country even slightly more left then the centrist parties like the Dems or Libs respectively, but when I was scared for the safety of my self and my neighbors I voted for Trudeau because a safe vote is better then no vote at all.
I understand why Palestine is the line in the sand for a lot of people, but when those people say it doesn't matter and they don't care if Trump gets back in all I'm hearing is they don't care about mitigating the problems just let everyone suffer more. It's like if you have a leak in a pipe, you know the leak is there, and the leak could burst risking damage to your entire kitchen, but you don't want to fix it because buying a replacement means giving money to a corporation you hate. On the surface it makes sense to leave it, there is no guarantee the leak will burst and the bucket you have underneath stopped everything from getting destroyed last time, but you have to realize if your pipe does burst you'll have to replace everything in that kitchen from that same company you dislike so you give more than you had to. On top of that you're not the only one using that kitchen, the other can't replace it, they aren't allowed to for whatever reason so don't you owe it to try and stop a total burst for them. After that continue with trying to replace the whole kitchen to stop leaks from happening again and replace everything so it's not from that company you hate.
I don't know anymore everything has been so heartbreaking and now that the Democrats have started to move into more positions the left wants, people aren't willing to play the long game politics needs. The Dems aren't going to have their Trump who ends up shifting the parting further left overnight, so do what the Republicans did and make the small changes, move the Overton window, and please realize that letting everything burn isn't going to help anybody, not yourself not the minorities in North America, and not those suffering and being murdered across the globe. The US is the crux of the world politically, please fucking act like you care about that

so when Zuko joins the Gaang and this happens:
Tumblr media
he’s probably freaked out (rightfully so) but in the back of his mind he’s probably also thinking “worst comes to worst, I could probably fight her” until:
Tumblr media
this happens and he’s like:
Tumblr media
and immediately starts reevaluating every bender he’s ever met, thinking of every time Katara totally could’ve killed him, and is forever grateful that she has morals lol
bonus post war convo between Zuko and Azula:

I'm curious. Reblog this if you know how to cook
I don’t even care if it’s macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDN’T STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldn’t fix them food or they couldn’t go out to eat.

What I am finding with the acolyte is while most people are saying it is firmly anti Jedi, I find it one of the most pro Jedi stance I've seen in a long time.
Take the Jedi on Bendok, everyone I've seen talking about it seems to take it on face value that the Jedi killed the coven, while ignoring the fact that Mae was taken in by the Sith at some point.
The twins are parallel each other in nearly every way, from how they act with Mae being a brute force style planner who will break her own rules for the chance at revenge contrasted to Osha begrudgingly following the rules of others even if it goes against her own beliefs. This leads to the idea that Mae was most likely taken by the Sith around the same Osha was with the jedi
I find it most likely that that either Qimir or his hypothetical master was also on Bendok was the one who killed the witches, the Jedi without knowing it was a third party, felt guilty for the death of a culture and the people in it.
If I am right, and honestly even if I am wrong, this shows the Jedi in a much better light then any other movie or show I have seen. Compare this with the prequel era where the Jedi might not be genocidal like the Sith, but have no qualms leading an occupying army in CIS worlds. Every other piece about the Jedi is I have seen the Jedi are more upset about the fact they lost the fight against the Sith then the war they fought.
The Acolyte made me like the Jedi as an order for the first time because it actually made them human as a whole with real regrets and how the institution tried to help the one person they could. Osha at this point might not be a Jedi but clearly will be one in the end, and she is the perfect summation of who the jedi AS A GROUP tried to be. Kind and compassionate, willing to help even in cases where she may die, but not allowing pain and suffering to be inflicted. The Jedi even let her leave when she felt she needed to for her own clarity, and showed no hostility to the witches, only wanting to train the girls so they wouldn't be corrupted by the dark side.
The Jedi here are tolerant of all groups outside the Sith who just want to kill Jedi, are willing to support their younglings when it comes to their emotions, and the test Osha went through was to show if she had abilities and if she even wanted to join. This show made me LOVE the Jedi, where before I had the thought the dark side was clearly the corrupting force the Jedi were simply a lesser evil.
