Has anyone else got this glitch? My denizen keeps calling me Nerevar and had this weird obsession with calling my consorts farm equipment.
- 馃尃
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, this sometimes happens if you have Dagoth as your Denizen, and so far it seems to be a basic feature of the existence, like, we can't really write it out of ~ATH. Besides this the Denizen works like normal.
Please, don't tell Bethesda. If they pull out a lawsuit, we don't have good lawyers.
Sincerely

hiiii newb player here so sorry if this has been asked before. my game audio completely stopped working once i entered. not sure if this is a bug orrrrr..? really unsettling not hearing the sfx when fighting imps >_<
Possible causes that are game related:
You have gone deaf. You will Question your way out of this one eventually.
Master Volume set itself to 0 (sometimes happens upon entry, we are not entirely sure why). You can check in Settings -> Audio, and set the volume to your preferred level.
Your Land generated the Silence theme or its subtype. You can Quest your way out of this. You can tell by visiting other Lands and/or Dream Moons, audio there should work.
Your Land generated the Sound theme or its subtype. Has to be Landquested out of. Same check as above.
If you are playing release older than 7.2.0, your Land might have generated as Land of Sound And Silence (or corresponding subtypes), in which case you can鈥檛 do shit about it, but anywhere else the audio should work as normal.
Possible causes that are not game related:
Your audio drivers are busted. Update/repair.
Whatever was transmitting sound from your gaming device lost connection/ability to transmit sound. Typically Bluetooth devices are a prime suspect because Entry temporarily confuses that. Deploy Turn It Off And On strategy.
You have gone deaf. Accommodate for this disability; you have an Alchemiter and aids have been made dirt cheap or in some cases even free on purpose
Sincerely

Hey Gear. You're the only one in this godforsaken place I actually respect so I figured I'd ask what the hell is going on to have management up in such a tizzy? They keep screaming about something code related, so I figured maybe one of your crew broke something again. Also, please fix our AC, the lava is making our lives hell. - Minute Hand, Skaianet Marketing
The code is disfunctional as normal, so unless management decide to look at the core levels and got themselves infected with the info-virus that rewrites their personal ~ATH into game upkeeping assets, there is no reason to scream anything about the code.
Also IDK how to fit lava AC. if I did, trust me, I wouldn't be sitting on the wall. Just wear short sleeves and dumpt whatever you don't want to deal it on the floor.

yoooo uh. started up a session recently and theres like. twice the players then we signed up for appearently. They dunno whats going on, they just sorta appeared in my og coplayers houses. and mine theres a guy hiding in my cabinet. is this normal? are we supposed to kill em, friend em, what? did someone fuck everythin up?
there were uh four of us including me to start with, the other guys kinda look like us? i dunno whats going on lol
It's not normal-normal, but it's unusual-normal. Like, yeah, this shit happens, there is usually some explanation that comes later on, usually with time shenanigans, maybe ectobiology. It will settle eventually. Just nod and go along with it.
The game is a co-op. As such, you first approach should be to try to try to cooperate with the extra pals (friendship is not mandatory, but it might help to have positive rapport). If they do not cooperate, but aren't malicious, ignore them. If they are malicious, dispose of them with extreme prejudice.
With that being said, from your description there is a high probability these guys are your future selves about to fix up a screw-up you are about to commit or some fuckery you aren't responsible for and can't handle in your current state of powerlessness.
In which case, leave your future selves be and focus on your own game-goals, but if they tell you to drop down or not to go somewhere, take their word for it. Maybe offer them a refreshing beverage or a stuffed animals.
Sincerely

Any idea how to stop a HYPOTHETICAL other player that keeps materializing cartoon banana peels right under your feet?
Not to imply violent dismemberment would solve all of your issues, but have you tried violently dismembering them? Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Yeah. It went into the Inbox. through the Askbox. Askbox is the input, Inbox is the output. (Whoever designed this was probably eaten alive.)

Hey, it鈥檚 headphone anon again.
The thing is jammed in there. Because remember, I tried to use the broken piece with the in-tact piece, so it is deep.
We had hopes that good enough glue would be a sufficient adhesive to pull it out.
Unfortunately as it happens, hardware issues aren't exactly our forte.
Found a YT video that tries something different, tho:

honestly the best way to get that headphone piece out would be a daub of hot glue (if it's close enough to the outside) or something thin enough to slide in past it and use friction to pull it out, though that risks some damage to the jack as well
Provided the hot glue doesn鈥檛 get dtuck in the port as well, yeah.

need help! (Urgently, also, this isn鈥檛 a Palestine fundraising anon)
I had a pair of headphones that I use for school, and I do distance learning so I need them.
they were pretty beat up, the jack was bent to the point that I had two spots where I could get actual stereo audio, and the jack snapped off
inside the goddamn laptop.
well not technically in the laptop, but I did a stupid and thought if i put the gold piece (detached from the fucking jack) in the port, and then put the rest of the thing after it, it鈥檇 still work (they were those really fancy Sony headphones that music studios use and they were annoyingly expensive).
it did not, in fact, still work
now the fucking detached gold piece is lodged in there, because every attempt to get it out just jammed it in further.
we鈥檙e still not done paying off that laptop. And now I can鈥檛 go to the library because I鈥檓 guaranteed to have a live class during my library visit and the headphone import that it鈥檚 registering is overridden rn so it just blares through the speakers.
please help. Because I also have to have headphones for a couple of my finals.
the repair shops in my area are鈥ffy at best, and being without your laptop for a bit鈥eally not good when you need it for educational purposes.
If you can't take your laptop to a repair services, I think your best bet is to take a skewer (thin, preferably wooden), put a drop of superglue on the tip, carefully insert it in the jack port, gently press it against the jack tip, wait a bit and try to pull it out that way.
Maybe hot glue gun glue would work too, but I am not sure if it would come out of the jack port with ease, you might just end up gluing the port shut and then you are pretty much fucked over twice.
Presumably getting a Bluetooth headset, even a shitty one, doesn't fit within your budget, but if you have a friend or acquaintance who would borrow you one before you can find a better solution.
To my knowledge, repair services use a very thin drill that fits within the port, drill a hole, then use superglue on a thin stick that fits in the hole and pull things stuck out in this way (I fucked up few screw on the back of my laptop, some were in deep holes). It's basically the skewer method I suggested initially, but it increases the surface contact with glue, increasing the probability of success. Unless you have very steady hands and thin enough drill and are willing to risk the laptop's well-being, do not try drilling any holes. (+ most easily available (meaning mostly cheap) drills don't have enough power to drill into metal.)
That being said, some people who read this blog are significantly more hardware savvy than I am. If you lot have good suggestions, I am all ears, throw them here.

Hey, SI here. I know I don't interact with this blog regularly because, you know, I hate Skaia and anything that exists to propagate it. But there's a horrific memory leak in your land generation code that if left unpatched could cause a database sinkhole without any mods involved. And the only thing worse than Skaia is a Database sinkhole.
Excuse me while I yell into the void about this and then go pick up my biggest needles to patch the fuck out of this.

Future 馃 here- the Mage of Law simply made a rule that he cannot die, and if attempted, a whole ass session gets unmade. Thoughts?
Make him wish he could die. Make him beg for it. Pull his spine out, bend it into a hoop and make him crawl through it all the while he cannot die in a way that matters and he has no one to blame for that misfortune but himself.

Okay, I can't get you to comment your code, but can I at least convince you to make a development branch that I can put comments of my own in (That will be deleted upon pull) -deftlyInscrutable
I guess.
But I see one ASCII annoying orange or anything like that and I am nuking the whole thing.

Anyone know how to defeat a Mage of Law? asking for a friend. - 馃
Swift decapitation from behind while the fucker isn't looking. Blam.
Or, you know, trap them in a "can't uphold one Law without breaking another" type of shit, some serious dog stew kind of predicament.

so uh... my planet had the board games generation tag.
and because of that it maaaaay have spawned in the wrong place? Long story short the battlefield got telefragged and I can't start my land quest for the sake of said land also getting telefragged.
can I get a reroll and/or a new battlefield? I'm worried I may have broke... everything.
Yeah, you're getting a new Land, for freebies. Whoever thought Board Games was a good Land Theme is getting dismembered and thrown on the floor. Sucker of a stoner, seriously, who do we keep him?
You get Dice instead. Congratulations on the dice, you can load them.
