i dont think alucard would like remmick at all bc remmick embodies the evil of colonialism and assimilation. he wants to join in sammie’s music but not to share it. besides alucard is a vampire hunter, and remmick’s vampirism is the one that’s like. about assimilation. robbing one away from their afterlife. unlife but without what makes life worth living.

i can see remmick trying to chummying up to alucard initially (oh look, another white boy! maybe we can be friends?) but if alucard susses him out, alucard throws all hands. hell maybe at first alucard sees him as a well meaning vampire but dunno how long it lasts.

i’ve also mused a possibility of a belmont meeting choctaw hunters but idk

Going off of how you said Alucard would join Sammie’s music, the angst and bittersweet gears of my brain started turning. I’d like to think that Alucard discovers Sammie during one of his travels exploring the world, his music allowing him to see people such as his mother, Trevor, Sypha, and Greta. He sees the impact of his music and recognizes the power of it, but understands the danger that comes along with it (He notices the scar on Sammie’s face, knowing it’s from someone who tried to take that from him *cough* Remmick *cough*. Alucard shows him the scar Papa Drac gave him). I’d also like to imagine that meeting Alucard spooks Sammie a lot at first but then he realizes he’s not like Remmick (He totally flips when he sees Alucard standing in the sun just fine). I think they’d form a pretty good bond with one another, Alucard visiting Sammie every chance he gets, watching as he progresses over the years but also finding a sense of comfort when hearing his music (I’m a firm believer that Alucard buys Sammie’s music and has a collection). I can see Alucard sharing all of his stories from around the world, even talking about his parents, Trevor, Sypha, Annette, Richter, and Maria. I can also see in that same light Sammie talking about Smoke, Stack, Annie, Pearline, Mary, and Slim. I think they both share the same feeling of outliving their loved ones, Alucard in terms of being immortal and Sammie having been the only one to survive the encounter with Remmick. When Alucard meets Sammie is up for interpretation, but I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts, additions and suggestions overall!

As for Alucard encounter with Remmick, I’d also think he’d be able to clock him immediately (It is an immediately on sight situation imo). That being said, it makes me think about if at some point him and Alucard happened to have crossed paths when Remmick was first turned. Anon, I want you to lean into the idea of the Choctaw and the Belmonts, that’s a fucking awesome muse and I think, not even think actually, I KNOW you’re onto something.

Ngl it's funny how nowadays some people (on tumblr especially) think the presence of taboo is a good enough qualifier for complexity in a book/show plot. I just wish you'd indulge yourself in dead dove fic instead of arguing with strangers over the internet trying to prove you're better than others and can consume media more meaningfully because you ship siblings or want yet another pair of white gays to eat each other or see catholic imagery when somebody stands before a glass window. Wafaa's old blog got shadowbanned, and its just yet another example of how far tumblr will go to silence palestinians when theyre already struggling to get by because of illness, starvation and the constant violence. It should alarm you just how frequent this is becoming with palestinian bloggers having to remake 3-4 times when theyre already living through the worst things imaginable.

If you don't know who she is, Wafaa Alnhal is a woman in her 40s who had left for Egypt a little after the occupation attacked for medical treatment. She has since been working hard to spread her campaign and evacuate her family who she had to leave behind in Gaza, despite her own ongoing struggle with her health issues and making rent.

Initially her goal for her gfm had been 35k, but recently she's had to raise it to 50k because her daughter has gotten hepatitis from the polluted water in Gaza. Her family is suffering- all 15 of them including 4 young children and a newborn baby- and they will have to live with the damage for the rest of their lives. It's taking its toll on Wafaa too, who's had to neglect her own health and wellbeing to raise funds for them.

She's made a new blog @wafs-posts and you all should follow her there to get updates from her on the situation directly. You should be listening to her instead of hearing this from me.

Hello, I am Mohammed Alanqer, married to Enas Majed, and we have four wonderful children.

We live in the midst of the ongoing hellish war in Gaza, trapped between walls of fear and despair. I, Mohammed, am a father of four children and a husband to a woman who was two months pregnant when the war began.

We struggle daily to survive in an environment filled with threats and dangers.

I lost our sole source of livelihood when my tech startup, which I built with dedication and hard work, was destroyed in the war. My children, Layan, Sarah, and Adam, have been deprived of education after their schools were destroyed, severely threatening their future. Amidst these harsh circumstances, my wife gave birth to our fourth child, Amir, in the midst of the war, adding to our state of despair and hopelessness.

My wife, Enas, lives in constant anxiety due to the destruction of hospitals in our area. I have lost my job and source of income, leaving me unable to provide for my family's needs and safety. Our home was destroyed by the war, forcing us to flee repeatedly and rendering us homeless.

We now face extreme difficulty in providing a safe place to live, clean clothes, and food for our children. Additionally, our children have contracted diseases like measles, and our son Adam has been diagnosed with viral hepatitis.

Our only hope now is to escape this ongoing nightmare and find a safe haven for our family. However, this requires exorbitant financial costs; the coordination fees for crossing the borders amount to $5000 per adult and $2500 per child, a sum I cannot afford alone.

We urgently appeal for your moral and financial assistance to cover the necessary costs for escaping to a safe environment, where we can build a better future for our children and ensure our family's safety.
