prev reblog i have a very neutral opinion on drag (it’s fun to go to but i dont seek it out or watch tv abt it) but i did go to my first ball like two weeks ago and when i tell you ballroom is by and for trans people, u better believe it. there were women there who were also queens but you could tell the energy was so much different at a ball bc balls aren’t based on parody, theyre based on authenticity. like realness is real!! are you being real!!!
