I feel like a dork for explaining it on any other social and theres a lot more context but here we go

What led up to this?

So kwang-sun is immortal, him and his husband nishima have been here since medieval times, kwang-sun has a time machine disguised as a stop watch, he uses this as a weapon as well, hes able to travel to wherever he sets it, the reason behind making it was so that he could watch his friends who passed away from afar but over time his husband got sicker and sicker to a point where he suspected foul play, he uses the Time Machine to investigate through different time periods but hes been looking for 10 years but cant find a motive as to why someone would do this (the poisoner is unrelated this is just why he has the time machine)

Where Mi young comes in is that shes kwang-suns older sister, kwang-sun doesnt know his family well since he was separated from them at a young age, only knowing his older brother and his father. Their mother built up her rank over the years to a point where she ruled over a kingdom that she originally promised to mi young when it was stable enough for her to rule but went back on it, mi young then decided to become a politician attempting to become the ruler of a kingdom but war broke out and killed the small group she created who were going to build her kingdom, thats when she remembered that her mother had to pass the kingdom to her in death but when she was going to kill her within the chaos of the war she found that the kingdom was rubble, she didnt even have the chance, all she wanted was to go back in time, she wanted a kingdom, her kingdom, she wanted to kill her mother right as she denied her the kingdom originally. Mi young stumbled away from the rubble and when looking for a quiet place to process she saw kwang-sun, not kwang-sun from her timeline, kwang-sun who came to rewatch the past. She hadnt seen him since he was a toddler but she knew. She knew it was him. She could smell his blood, the same blood that she would put plasters over, the same blood that accidentally splattered in her mouth when he cut his leg, the same blood that has now given her eternal youth. Now this doesnt make her exactly immortal, she just cant die to old age, she just has to wait until kwang-sun makes the time machine and strike when the time is right

The day

Mi young finally strikes, its now 2025, shes been waiting for this for over 1,500 years. Mi young is wearing a motorcycle helmet as not to be recognised and tracked down after she takes it, they fight and in the scuffle her helmet is knocked off, kwang-sun recognises her but doesnt know her name or anything about her, all he can remember is that she made him apple slices when he was little, he wanted to let her go back and live how she wanted, he really did but he knew a change such as this would be detrimental to the timeline, the only thing he could think if was to let her die quick so what did he do? He gave her the stop watch, She used it but assuming she just had to do the same movement as she saw kwang-sun do all those years ago to go back she did the same thing, she thought of where she wanted to go and stepped through. Now thing is kwang-sun uses a language only he understands on the watch so while mi young thought she had to think about where she wanted to go kwang-sun in reality set it to the date she wanted BUT not the place she wanted, he set the coordinates to be over a volcano, killing his sister.
