I had a dream Spider was riding a direhorse, he was so small compared to the horse but he loved riding!!

I've got a little scene in my head now where Kiri meets herself (!?!) on the time loop/dream plane before Spider meets her there during that time loop

The other Kiri tries to explain to herself that Spider is stuck in the time loop, with no one else aware of it but him. As she's running out of time she says to herself "Tell Spider, a part of me remembers!"

And when he hears those words from a Kiri who doesn't completely understand what they mean, he is relieved and feels less alone!

If Kiri knows, maybe there is a way out!!

It's not without purpose that he keeps going back to the machine! The effects of the machine on his brain had a part in triggering the time loop, and he keeps going back to it like a save point in a video game. I could make the loops start off less severe, like just after he gets out of the machine… Or maybe something will happen that can change the save point :3

Yes… The misfortune of being a favorite character is being put in horrid situations and shaken up

It makes me think of a Brennan Lee Mulligan quote regarding fans of tortured characters expressing wishes for those characters to be happy. He takes on a villainous intonation to his voice and says "liars." While I understand what he means, there wouldn't be a story without the conflicts that often lead to the suffering of a character, I have a different take: The suffering and conflict that characters have to deal with is, in a lot of cases, what allows us to relate to and love a character. We can see our own hurts and struggles in them, and maybe even gain a new perspective through them. But many times we can relate a character's suffering to our own. So when we wish for their peace and happiness and healing, an end to the pain, a better life; are we not also wishing that for ourselves?

but! AU where Spider is caught in a time loop that resets him back to when he's stuck in the brain scan torture device! He and kiri can connect in the dream plane each time loop after kiri has her seizure. But she doesn't have the same awareness of the time loop as Spider (yet??)

(calling this a WIP because it's not quite where i want it to be, but I'm happy with the progress and wanted to share :3 )

tysm!! ^_^ the little green one was the first one I made and I thought it would be my favorite, but big blue ended up stealing the show XD (I guess that leaves the orange one with middle child syndrome lol)

overall I am happy with how they turned out but! I can see room for improvement with the paint. To me a more accurate ikran pattern looks similar to a paint pour. When I make another one I'll have to try that… or give Orange a makeover >w<

Air dry clay bodies, head to tail, when the tails don't break :P Paper wings, And pipe cleaner 'bones' and claws on big blue. Painted and glued together
