MORE POPPY PLAYTIME HCS!!

This is not going to be as long as last time😭

Sawyer lab coat is too big for him, he uses safety pins to keep it from dragging around the place.

Sawyer figured out where Leith live once just to fight him. They ended up arguing outside for 2 hours. It was the middle of the night.

Rich punched Leith once for implying that he was dumb. He doesn’t regret it.

Eddie really doesn't like Stella and no one knows why. And when I mean don’t like, I mean he has a deep hatred for her, he cannot stand her.

Sawyer and Stella can cry on command. Sawyer has only done this once when working for the company, but Stella on the other hand always does it especially to Leith, it always works. Sawyer only really did it to his mom so she would stop yelling at him when he was younger. He just found her to be REALLY annoying.

Anyways that is all for now!! I know I said the next time I do one of these it would be about my piggy AU but I have a lot of these for ppt and I wanna put them all out there first before anything. plus I’m still working on my piggy AU.😓

Poppy playtime head cannons I have :D

I need to post so I’m just gonna talk about my head cannons!! Also all of these are mainly gonna be about playcare or the higher-ups!

Miss Delight would purposely teach the kids stuff that was incorrect or flat out wrong so they would get lower test scores. I also think that there’s school grades also contributed to if they were going to get turned into an experiment or not.

Since Eddie would almost never come to playcare the kids ended up giving him a nickname because they never knew what is actual name was. But the problem was everyone had different nicknames for him. At some point, it was decided his nickname would be “The weird guy”

Leith is an alcoholic.

Harley would sometimes just fall asleep at the labs, that guy hardly gos home. Harley also has 2 kids and his wife divorced him a little bit before the bigger bodies initiative but he didn’t care😒

Even after the smiling critters cartoon got canceled they still made more episodes for the kids at playcare because that was one of the only things they were allowed to watch. They weren’t allowed to interact anything that wasn’t made by playtime.

Leith and Elliot Ludwig are related but literally no one knows about this and when Leith mentioned it to the other higher ups, they were all surprise. (he brings it up like it’s well-known information when it’s not💀)

For kids that didn’t qualify for being experiments the counselors in a way to encourage those kids would pretty much straight up called them dumb and tell them how no family is gonna want to adopt them if they didn’t at least try to get their test scores up. And yes they would even say this to the kids that were literally trying.

Eddie has one of the most normal lives outside of playtime. He has a loving wife two kids that he loves and literally everyone that knows him absolutely adores him, and it’s all because he has a whole new personality pretty much the second he’s not around the company. He tries to have a very VERY Good reputation with people so but if information about the company wrongdoings ever come out he can basically just play victim, and everyone would believe him. And the worst part is his strategy works. He’ll literally sometimes intentionally hurt people and even if that person has evidence literally everyone under the sun will defend him. Though Despite everything I just said, he still has a HORRIBLE relationship with his parents. The only one he still talks to is his Mom only because she is also obsessed with looking good in front of the public. And they also both can’t stand his Dad. But he still really hates his Mom and his mom also really hates him.

Sawyer will kick people down the stairs for his own enjoyment.

Anyways, that’s all I have for now! I have a lot more head cannons but I’ll keep them to myself for now💔

Anyways I’ll do one of these for my piggy AU eventually so stay tuned for that!!!

Why I’ve been gone💔

To be honest I don’t really have a good reason. I have been just posting on TikTok and Twitter for the last 4 or 5 months and I have been on a break on TikTok for a while now. School just ended for me and I am just really tired and posting on here and TikTok just feels like a chore. This is not me coming to say that I’m going to quit or anything. This is actually me saying that I want to start posting again and hopefully after I get some stuff done in my life i’ll be able to!

I have post a little bit on TikTok recently but I mainly post on Twitter for now.

Sawyer's relationship with Yarnaby is a complete parallel to his relationship with Ludwig.

He did to Quinn what he views as exactly the same as what Ludwig did to him: making himself a father figure, the only person who saw potential, the only person who cared.

y'know the big thing with generational trauma, how a parent often abuses their kid as a subconscious way of "getting back" at their own parental figures by exerting the same type of control they did? yeah.

In both cases, the "father" was only interested in taking all that could be taken from that well of potential, shaping that mind into exactly what they wanted. In both cases, they failed, and ended up doing the opposite. Both of them ruined their progenies, greatly lowered their mental capacity in certain fields.

Ludwig completely stunted Sawyer's psychosocial capacity. Sawyer completely stunted Quinn's intellectual capacity.

[also, if Ludwig is the Prototype, both were used as guard dogs, trained to serve and nothing more]

Sawyer also seems to believe that he granted Quinn a courtesy that Ludwig refused to grant him: to see his disturbed mind as a gift, rather than the detriment Ludwig saw his disturbed state as. He chose Quinn because he was disturbed, because he acted in probably the exact same way he himself did when he was young.

In that interview, he told Quinn exactly what he wished he was told as a child, just as Elliot did to him. He sees himself as a loving parent, despite being anything but. He can't see the parallels between his own actions and Ludwig's.

(also note the symbolism: Quinn was literally transplanting the 'minds' of his dolls between bodies, altering the nature of what little he could.)

And in the end, both "fathers" left their progeny to the cold, breaking them. Only to come back into their life, now to use what has become of them.

(note: I actually don't think Sawyer was being malicious when he was "getting a good laugh out of" Yarnaby. The way Sawyer's mind works is strange, and we know the way he navigates social interactions is bizarre at best. I think he genuinely thought of those moments as some strange form of bonding, the way one bonds with a pet through its endearing behaviour. I think he does genuinely care for Yarnaby in his own strange way, but, like I mentioned, his psychosocial development is completely stunted and that care manifests as abuse, as is often the case with developmentally stunted parents.)

Poppy Playtime is a story about generational trauma.

Hey guys, so really important announcement!

!My Roblox piggy AU turned a year old today!

I know I haven’t been posting about it much lately. But that’s mainly because of the fact I’ve been hyper fixed sitting on Poppy playtime. But still, this is a very special day for me! This rewrite means a lot to me it helped me through a lot of stuff and it’s the reason why my writing is gone better. And all these characters mean a lot to me. The day I made this rewrite I was literally just sitting in my room and got the idea and decide to do it! It’s something I’ve been wanting to do ever since I got into piggy back in 2020! Honestly, the only reason why I told people I enjoyed 2020 was because of piggy. Honestly, I’m surprised I’ve been working on this for a year now! It doesn’t really feel that long. But yeah let me stop yapping. Anyways, thank you to everyone that’s helped me out with this rewrite, and everyone that follows it, sadly, I might not be able to go back to working on it now by promise, I will come back to this rewrite soon considering it means a lot to me!

So update from this post, here’s my opinions on the chapter!

!spoilers obviously I’m going to have a lot of spoilers here for poppies playtime chapter 4!

Anyways!



If I’m being honest I didn’t really like the chapter, it’s not bad It’s just I feel like we should’ve spent more time with Yarnaby and the Doctor considering the fact they are major characters to the lore and really important for the story. I also just felt like the prison wasn’t as scary as it was set up to be it felt too easy in my opinion, also the nightmare critters deserve their own cutouts! I don’t know something just felt kind of off about the chapter. But on a more positive note, I do really like the ending! It was executed really well with them showing the poppy flowers and then doing a call back to the first chapter!

anyways that’s all!

(The Doctor and Yarnaby were the best characters!)
