Pictures of random crafts and drawings I have made (and some made by others too), and some p&p rpg snippets. Lot of Mass effect themed stuff, and also original fantasy and scifi stuff. Trying to stay positive and creating stuff despite my chronic health problems. Let me know if you need something tagged. ^_^ Sorry that I'm awkward, social stuff is difficult, but I try. Autistic and full of anxiety. Wouldn't mind finding some nice friends with similar interests.

Here is the walls for the mini floor I posted. It's going to be a room for my TSPN pet. On the lower pic is the placeholder wall and a small plant dish, cardboard version of the pet (I'll try to make a mini, but we'll see if I manage) and a basket for the pet.

Here are some doodles from my journal. A plan for the enclosure, pics of the pet, it's kinda like a fluffy snake with a hamster-like head. Its looks are 9/10 so it's super petty, that's pretty much where it's stats are so we are focusing on pet beauty pageants. There is a doodle of the first pageant, the competition was a granny who had made a cool sweater for her pet. The pets were on friendly terms after the pageant. Also a bug sneaked inside but luckily it wasn't dangerous. Still most of my money was spent on a cage trap to catch the critter.

Then rest of my money went on a leash and a harness for walkies. We encountered a mushroom pet that scared my pet. Also the bug was captured succesfully and relocated outside. And my pet seems to love rolling around in dirt.
#doodles#crafts#wip#TSPN - tabletop solo pet nursery#it's free solo rpg for caring pets#the manual can be found on itchio. it is very cute#it's been helpful to giving me something to doodle#also I stopped using the markers for the doodles because they were so visible through the paper and I'd rather use both sides for journalin

Oooooh, look at this floor, I'm so excited how it turned out!
It's carved corrugated cardboard, coloured with markers and mini paints, and topped with anti-shine varnish.
#crafts#wip#like yeah it's not the most realistic looking flooring..#but considering the messy looking test pieces I did before-#and that this is material from the recycling-#I'm so proud how it looks. I'm going to cry#it's going to be a floor for a small tower

Been watching Kruggsmash's Dwarf fortress videos on youtube. Made some fanart for the gladiator tournament series called Splatterface.

All are drawn and lined on paper, Toralnil and the snail are colour pencil coloured, the others I coloured digitally.
But yeah, there's some nice stories and lovely art in the videos if you feel like checking them out.

In our current p&p rpg, I've been slowly setting up this scary undead castle thing. The villages the party has gone through have heavy fortifications and shrines for a 'bane of the undead' and people there are vary of the night and the skies, all that.
The safe-house they were meant to stay for the night in between villages was destroyed and, during the night, large wolves and undead ghouls attacked the camp. During the attack, two huge bestial bats swooped down and one snatched two of the party and took them away. Of course the rest are going to rescue them and head to a castle where the villagers said the master of the undead is.
And the castle and the houses around it are all abandoned looking and rotting, spooky stuff. They sneak into the castle and find the kindapped peeps who are acting weird, all mindcontrolled and such. The sun is on its way down, they can't get out of the forest before dark, so they decide to go and kill the master of the castle.
And I've been planning these seduce-y and creepy vampire encounters for next, MW suspects the mind controls being demonic based on previous encounters, so the vampire stuff is meant to be a bit of a surprise, it seems she didn't clock the giant bats before.
And just before that MW starts rewatching What we do in the shadows, nooooo, my spooky vampire encounters. :D
#p&p rpg#not art or craft#it's fine we're not super serious in the games anyways. just the timing x)

Another headphone-padding fix. On these ones the fabric started disintegrating, so I tested sewing new fabrics over them. If I need to fix them further I might try cutting the padding out and making all together new cover on it. But it works fine for now.
#crafts#the fabrics are just whatever fitting stretch I had in my scrap pile#cotton for against my head. stretchy stuff for the inner and outer rings#the headband cover is on the to-do-list

A crotcheted pokeball test. I'd still like to get the lower part connection a bit neater, but it's not bad this way either.

Noise cancelling headphones have been really big help for me, and so when the padding on my heaphones started to break it was kinda a bummer. I'm sure one can buy replacement padding, but I wondered if I could try fixing them, and it did indeed happen to be a fixable issue. Posting pics about my recent touch up on it, if it maybe would be of help to someone. Mine are skullcandy ones but maybe other ones have similar builds?

The padding fabric was tearing out in a manner I drew here. (I forgot to photograph it before taking it apart)

So the padding just slots on the headphone with a rubbery edge. Here is also visible my previous fix with the green stitches. The original glue holding the fabric to the rubbery edge piece has given out. I tried gluing it back but found sewing to be way easier.

So you can just flip the edge and the fabric inside-out. I sewed them together on the edge where they used to be glued.

Could have sewed the whole thing at the first time, but oh well. ^_^

Turning the fabric right side up, the stitches are a little bit visible here, but could use same colour thread as the fabric to hide them. I didn't care that much.

Back on the base, if not pulling on the fabric, you can't really see the stitches at this point.
