About Aaravos and his magic.

Aaravos don't present the dark magic to humans, because in the first episode of the first season, the narrator himself claims to be a HUMAN magician discovered this magic.

Probably who discovered this magic was Lord Viren, a thousand years ago. But how has he survived so far? Simple! Just as he tried to persuade the king to use the serpent to transport his soul to other bodies, Viren did the same so that he could remain immortal forever.
