sometimes it's hard for me to think about how in love, but seriously, deeply DEEPLY in love Nico Di Angelo was with this teenager he just met, how he had no other option but to trust the life of that so treasured for him to Percy and yet how he failed him. But Nico's heart kept flipping every time the black-haired came near him. How to love the so called "killer" of his sister? how disgusting. How to love a person of his own gender? And no, it wasn't a simple "crush", Nico may have been dazzled by Percy at first, but years later, after getting to know Percy and seeing him at his best and worst. I think that goes beyond idealization. Nico Di Angelo was in love, profusely enamored and I think that word doesn't even begin to describe the feelings he harbored for the son of the ocean. So much that cannot be put in a thousand words, nor in a thousand drawings, and perhaps not even in the looks he gave Percy. Something that only his heart and mind understood and could keep.
