Letting Go
So, I kind of disappeared mid-Chubtober, sorry about that! Work and life just got kind of wild these past few months and writing was on the back burner. I had plenty of ideas, but the motivation to put those into complete fics just wasn't happening.
But exciting times - I made a new friend! @bulletproofscales is a great writer and we recently connected, it was lovely. I've been reading his fics for a while and just wanted to appreciate his writing.
He was so kind and made me feel a renewed sense of confidence and motivation in my writing. So consider this a little new friend gift and encouragement to send the message to those writers you appreciate!
Read here or on AO3!

The house was quiet aside from the rustle of Yoongi unpacking his takeout order on the coffee table. He had been craving fried chicken and hoped that ordering extra would finally encourage his boyfriend to eat more than his typical protein, veggies, and rice for dinner.
Yoongi loved Jimin with everything he had and would never ask him to change if Jimin truly didn’t want to, but deep down, Yoongi felt that Jimin’s strict discipline and bland diet were more forced than desired.
Jimin had a hard-earned physique which Yoongi could appreciate. However, it was difficult to pinpoint exactly why Jimin’s appearance held so much of his mental and physical space.
Yoongi saw the way Jimin stopped himself from indulging as if he were internally scolding himself for even considering. He would literally stop halfway as he reached a hand or a utensil for any food outside of his tracked and planned regimen.
Most people would be angry with the thought of someone just grabbing food off their plate, but Yoongi wished Jimin would steal bites as often as it looked like he wanted to.
Jimin entered the room carrying a small bowl of rice topped with some veggies and tofu. It looked entirely unappetizing, admittedly even more so than Jimin’s typical food that at least had decent seasoning.
As he sat down, Jimin glanced at the containers of fried chicken that smelled incredible. He stared at his bowl and just felt his stomach turn. Even though he was hungry, the thought of eating his perfectly weighed and prepped meal felt more disappointing than ever.
Yoongi looked over at Jimin with a bit of a sad smile, seeming to pick up on Jimin’s hesitation to eat. “You don’t have to eat any of this, but I got your favorite flavor and some beer I know you like. Just have as much as you want - you know, if you want any at all, no pressure.”
The words hung in the air, like a permission slip Jimin didn’t need but admittedly wanted. He wasn’t sure if it was hunger or the way Yoongi had phrased it, but the next thing he knew, he was reaching for a piece of chicken, and then the beer Yoongi opened for him.
Jimin didn’t know how Yoongi managed to spontaneously flip the mental switch or if he was just so tired of monitoring his diet so closely, but something about tonight sent all of Jimin’s hesitation out the window.
Without letting himself turn back on his moment of diet rebellion, Jimin pushed the small bowl away and watched with anticipation as Yoongi slid a full container of chicken in front of him. The spicy sauce looked more appetizing than anything Jimin had eaten in months.
Yoongi made a sound of appreciation as he saw Jimin pick up another piece of chicken and sip on the beer. He wasn’t about to question a thing that was happening. To see his boyfriend enjoy his meal for the first time since they moved in together was more satisfying than any food could be for Yoongi.
Jimin continued to reach for piece after piece of chicken, almost mindlessly as he tried to stop himself from thinking too much about calories. The spice was perfect, heat masking his fullness in between sips of the chilled beer.
It didn’t take long before Jimin was full, more full than he had been in a long time. The chicken and beer went down with ease, warm and filling in a way that his veggies and rice never could be.
As he sat back against the couch, rubbing his already bloated stomach, Jimin couldn’t help but feel a little ashamed. The reality of the situation came crashing down quick as he looked over at the still-full bowl of his meal-prepped dinner.
What have I done?
Jimin had lost track of how many pieces he’d eaten, no possible clue how to track this slip-up of a meal in his calorie app. There were only crumbs and leftover sauce in the bottom of his empty container, and he felt completely stuffed.
Jimin was feeling a bit dejected because he had worked so hard his whole life to stay in shape and maintain his physique, resisting college weight and the temptations of having his own finances to spend however he liked. Suddenly a stable relationship steals all his willpower?
Yoongi, on the other hand, was still happily munching away on his chicken. Jimin wasn’t upset that his boyfriend was on the chubbier side by any means. Yoongi had been a bit pudgy when they met in college, and the weight continued with indulgent choices and a settled relationship. Jimin had always told himself not to fall into bad habits when they started dating, even more so once they shared a home.
Choosing to ignore Jimin’s silent spiral in hopes of pulling his boyfriend back out of it, Yoongi sent him a warm, satisfied smile. “It’s nice to see you relaxing a bit. It’s okay to indulge and eat what you like sometimes. I promise.”
Jimin nodded, but there was a small, nagging voice in his head telling him he’d overdone it. But Yoongi was right, it was just food. It was just a moment of indulgence. It didn’t have to mean anything more than that.
As they settled into the couch, both of them full and happy, Jimin realized something. Maybe he hadn’t eaten to enjoy the food, maybe he’d been eating to enjoy the way it felt to share a meal with Yoongi, to relax and let go.
It wasn’t about the food itself; it was about the moment, the connection getting stronger with Yoongi. Still, Jimin couldn’t ignore the tightness in his jeans as he reclined, the way his stomach stretched uncomfortably against the fabric.
Next time, I’ll say no.
But for now, he couldn’t help but wonder: was Yoongi’s influence stronger than his own self-control? Jimin was inclined to believe it was and no matter what his insecurities were telling him, he loved Yoongi way more than counting calories.
Jimin's thoughts were interrupted by Yoongi's gentle touch on his arm. "Hey, you okay? You seem a little lost in thought there."
Jimin forced a smile, trying to push away his worries. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit full."
Yoongi chuckled, patting his own stomach trying to ease the tension growing. "I know the feeling. But isn't it nice sometimes? To just let go and enjoy?"
Jimin nodded, not entirely convinced. He glanced down at his stomach, noticing the slight roundness that hadn't been there before. It was barely noticeable and entirely bloating that would go down with time, but to him, it felt like a glaring reminder of his lack of control.
"You know," Yoongi continued, oblivious to Jimin's internal struggle, "I've always admired how disciplined you are with your diet and exercise, but I worry sometimes that you're too hard on yourself."
Jimin finally cracked a bit of a sad smile. The words rang true and he knew where Yoongi was coming from. “I know, I’m sorry. I’ve seen the way you look sometimes when it gets…bad.”
Yoongi sighed and placed his hand on Jimin’s thigh, rubbing soothingly. “You don’t get bad, Jiminie. Your anxiety and insecurity may ebb and flow, but nothing about you is bad.”
Looking down at Yoongi’s hand gently caressing his leg, Jimin felt a rush of warmth return, almost physically feeling it overpower that little voice constantly in his head. He simply nodded as he realized Yoongi had more to share.
“And it’s okay if you gain a little weight. If you get settled and relax a bit more. Relationship weight is so normal, expected even and I would love you the same. I mean, I admit that I would even enjoy seeing you fill out a bit more.”
Jimin felt his face heat up at Yoongi's words, mixed with a flutter of anxiety. He hadn't expected Yoongi to be so direct about it even though he knew better than to underestimate his hyung. "You would?" he asked hesitantly.
Yoongi nodded, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Of course. You're gorgeous no matter what, but I love the idea of you being more comfortable, more relaxed. Plus," he added with a playful wink, "I think you'd look incredibly cute with a little extra padding. I mean, your ass is great already, Min, but imagine it with a bit more weight. Damn…"
Jimin felt his cheeks flush, torn between embarrassment and a strange sense of excitement. He'd never considered that Yoongi might actually prefer him a bit heavier. It was a jarring thought, but not entirely unpleasant.
"I don't know," Jimin mumbled, his hand unconsciously moving to his bloated stomach. "I worked so hard for so long to maintain…everything. It feels like I’m giving up on myself if I just throw in the towel.”
“And I understand that, but I’m just saying that you don’t need to stop enjoying food just for the sake of staying thinner. I’d love to take you out for dinner dates or spoil you with your favorite sweets. Sometimes it would be nice to know that my Jiminie has eaten well because of me.”
Jimin was caught off guard, feeling himself get a little bit teary-eyed from the confession. He hadn’t realized that he was limiting his and Yoongi’s quality time for the sake of dieting. “I would love that too. I’m sorry. I didn’t realize-”
Yoongi leaned over, giving Jimin a gentle kiss to cut off the impending ramble of misplaced guilt. “Don’t apologize. I know you better than anyone so I know you would never do it intentionally. Just promise me that you will talk to me if you are feeling insecure or having those internal struggles. I’m not saying you have to start or stop anything food and body-related. All I’m asking is for a bit more communication about those things.”
Jimin nodded slowly, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside him. "I'll try," he said softly, leaning into Yoongi's touch. "It's just hard to let go of old habits, you know?"
Yoongi smiled understandingly. "I know, baby. And I'm not asking you to change overnight. Maybe you can be a little kinder to yourself. Allow yourself to enjoy things without guilt?"
Jimin took a deep breath, considering Yoongi's words. He had to admit, something was appealing about the idea of relaxing his strict regimen, of allowing himself to indulge without constantly worrying about the consequences.
"Okay," he said finally, a small smile tugging at his lips. "I mean, dinner was really good tonight. I can’t remember the last time I ate as much as I wanted without counting the calories or restricting myself.”
“I know, and I just want you to know that you can do that more often. I’m glad you enjoyed dinner tonight,” Yoongi replied with a warm smile, leaning in for another kiss. “How about dessert?”
Jimin laughed and rolled his eyes. “That was quick. You just wanted an excuse to feed me, didn’t you?”
“Maybe,” Yoongi chuckled with a small shrug. “Or maybe I just want to spoil my darling boyfriend who I love so much.”
“You already take care of me so well,” Jimin responded genuinely, wanting Yoongi to know that he had not been lacking just because Jimin wasn’t always eating as much as he should.
Yoongi patted Jimin’s thigh as he stood up. “And now I can do it even better. So, ice cream?”
Jimin laughed and felt a weight lift from his shoulders as if his insecurities floated away with Yoongi’s reassurance. “Yes, I suppose I could make room for some ice cream.”
As Yoongi headed to the kitchen, Jimin leaned back onto the couch, his mind still processing their conversation. He couldn't deny the pleasant feeling that spread through him at the thought of Yoongi wanting to care for him, to spoil him. It was a stark contrast to his usual self-imposed restrictions.
The sound of cabinets opening and closing drifted from the kitchen, followed by the clink of bowls and spoons. Jimin found himself smiling, anticipation building despite his already full stomach.
Yoongi returned, balancing two generous bowls of ice cream. "I hope you don't mind, but I may have gone a little overboard with the toppings," he said with a shy smile.
Jimin's eyes widened as he took the bowl from his boyfriend - multiple scoops of ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce, sprinkled with chocolate chips, and topped with whipped cream.
“Damn, you were serious about wanting me to soften up, huh?” Jimin joked as he carved out his first spoonful.
Yoongi paused for a moment and looked over Jimin’s thin and lean body. He had always thought his boyfriend was too small, but it was also a little selfish. Yoongi loved the idea of a softer, curvier Jimin and he told him as such.
"Well, I can't deny that the thought of you with a bit more cushion is appealing," Yoongi admitted with a playful smirk. "But more than that, I just want you to be happy and comfortable. If that means indulging in dessert, then so be it. I hate the thought of you sitting around inside your head thinking you can enjoy a meal. In my eyes, you always look beautiful so why worry?"
Jimin felt a flutter in his stomach that had nothing to do with the sweet treat in his hands. Yoongi was so open and honest in a way that was healing Jimin in unexpected ways. How could he possibly deny his boyfriend’s words when they were spoken without a moment of hesitation?
“Thank you, hyung. Really, that means more than you could ever know,” Jimin replied, trying to keep his tears at bay by focusing his eyes firmly on his spoon in hand.
Yoongi hummed, clearly pleased that Jimin was accepting such a bold compliment and implication. "Of course, Min-ah."
As they ate, Jimin found himself relaxing more and more. The initial guilt he'd felt earlier was fading, replaced with the satisfaction of a delicious dessert and his boyfriend’s care for him. He expected some resistance from his stomach to eat the bigger-than-expected portion of dessert, but the sugar seemed to be a fresh start and it went down easily.
They ate their ice cream in comfortable silence, watching the movie playing. Yoongi finished his first and cuddled up with Jimin who was still working through his bowl. Yoongi admittedly put extra ice cream in Jimin’s bowl, purely because of the excitement of his boyfriend's agreement to dessert.
Yoongi started to softly rub Jimin’s stomach, trying to settle his full stomach considering he never ate this much. Jimin let out a little laugh at his boyfriend’s touch but also melted a bit under the sweet affection. He also was a bit thankful for the comforting touch considering how full his stomach was.
When Jimin finished his bowl, he set it aside and leaned back into the couch cushions with a relaxed sigh. Yoongi’s hand found his midsection again, and Jimin let his stomach fully expand into his touch.
"Mmm, that feels nice," Jimin murmured, his eyes half-closed as he savored the gentle pressure of Yoongi's hand on his overfull stomach. The combination of the hearty dinner and decadent dessert had left him feeling pleasantly stuffed, a sensation he hadn't allowed himself to experience in a long time, if ever.
Yoongi smiled, continuing his soothing circular motions. "I'm glad. You look so relaxed right now. It's a good look on you."
Jimin hummed in agreement, surprising himself with how content he felt. The nagging voice of guilt that had plagued him earlier was now just a distant whisper, drowned out by the comfort of Yoongi's touch and the satisfaction of a good meal.
"You know," Jimin said softly, "I think I could get used to this."
Yoongi looked over at Jimin, his soft smile growing with a more prideful beam. “Good, hyung’s really proud of you, Jiminie. I know that may sound silly over something like dessert, but I mean it.”
Jimin’s cheeks flushed as he let out a little whine, feeling exposed under Yoongi’s warm touch and even warmer smile. “I’m honestly proud of me too, hyung. Also, I kind of forgot how good food could be.”
“Well, don’t worry, you have me to remind you as often as you need.”

Chubtober Day 10!
I'm back with following the actual prompt today lol! This one was just a random little scene that came to mind from the Full Moon prompt. It is definitely not the typical setting for a full moon idea, but I hope you still enjoy spoiled Tae anyway.
Read here or on AO3!
---
“So, it’s a full moon this weekend,” Taehyung said with a strange expression on his face. He didn’t ask a question, but he was clearly looking for some sort of reply.
Namjoon looked up from his book, raising his brow in question. “Um, I suppose it is. Is there a reason you are bringing up moon cycles all of a sudden?”
Taehyung let out a little huff and crossed the room, dropping himself on the couch next to Namjoon and jostling the cushion with his sudden weight.
“Well, you and Jiminie are on your emergency room rotations this semester and people say that the full moon makes things like that really crazy.”
“I think that’s just a silly joke, baby. You know people in medicine like to use humor to keep things lighter,” Namjoon replied with a laugh, trying to figure out where Taehyung was going with this exchange.
“But what if you are super busy or something crazy happens? We need to be prepared,” Taehyung explained, almost getting worked up by the fact that Namjoon didn’t seem to care.
“Prepared for what? A busy shift? That could happen any time, Tae,” Namjoon responded as he put his book aside, trying to be understanding even though he was more confused.
Taehyung sighed again as he adjusted his position on the couch, pulling his shirt down from where it rode up on the side.
“No, we need to prepare here. What if you both come home stressed and tired? We should make sure things are ready in case either of you have a hard shift.”
“Tae-ah, I promise I’m not trying to be difficult, but I’m just not following. What more would we need here than we normally have?” Namjoon asked gently, trying not to offend his boyfriend who seemed to have real concerns.
Before Taehyung could respond, they were interrupted by a subtle cough from across the room. Both looked up to find Jimin standing with his hands on hips and a smirk on his face.
“What our dear boyfriend wants is more food, Joonie,” Jimin said confidently, having overheard the entire conversation and knowing exactly what Taehyung was trying to say.
“What? No, I-”
“You were trying to use us maybe having a stressful shift at the hospital as an excuse to buy a bunch of snacks and order takeout this weekend,” Jimin explained as he crossed the room to join his boyfriends on the couch.
Taehyung scoffed, crossing his arms and resting them on his belly with a pout on his face. “I just thought it would be nice for you to have extra snacks or a nice dinner after your shifts ended.”
Jimin and Namjoon shared a look, both smiling at Taehyung holding onto his act. They would admit that this was one of his more creative attempts at excusing his need for more food around the house.
“Yeah, I bet those extra snacks definitely would have been for us,” Namjoon teased as he gently patted one of Taehyung’s chubby cheeks.
Taehyung’s face flushed pink as he ducked his head, completely giving in now that his boyfriends could fold him easily with their teasing.
Jimin leaned over, sneaking his hand under Taehyung’s snug shirt pinching his soft belly below his belly button and giving it a little shake. “The full moon excuse was very creative, but you know we don’t need an excuse to feed you, baby.”

Chubtober Day 7!
We are actually following prompts today! This one is from fatguarddog's list - Magic Mirror.
Read here or on AO3!
---
Ot7 are a coven of witches with various skills and run a magic shop in the city.
Society is an integrated supernatural and human structure so they often get human clients for silly reasons but also legit cleansing or concerns.
After realizing how many potentially dangerous items are out in the human world, they often travel to human estate sales and antique shops to find items that clearly carry magic, charms, or spirits to cleanse and keep or return safely to human markets.
They almost always pick up mirrors, as there is typically at least one soul trapped inside, or it’s an open doorway.
They cleanse and close the mirror before safely sending it back into the world.
However, they come across an estate sale of a human who clearly had a fixation on the supernatural.
The home was packed with items and they had to stop themselves from taking everything they picked up.
Their haul included mirrors, frames, trinkets, and jewelry that was so clearly magically charged that they couldn’t keep them all in their workspace at the same time.
The items were spread out throughout their storage areas, knowing they would get to things eventually starting with the things carrying a darker presence.
A ring that clearly carried a curse and a picture frame with a hauntingly similar photo to the spirit they freed from inside were the first on the list.
It took them a couple weeks to even make a dent on this big haul of items.
At the bottom of their priority list was an ornate, gold-framed, full-length mirror that felt surprisingly clean and positive in a magic sense.
Truthfully, they purchased it for themselves because Taehyung refused to leave it behind so it had been given a home in their living room - replacing their old, less impressive mirror.
They will come to realize that was a mistake.
Waistbands start getting tighter, food starts disappearing quicker, and weight seems to be piling on out of nowhere.
But how strange to feel all those sensations when the mirror shows them looking the same as always.
Little do they know, the mirror is working like a virus in the background of their everyday lives.
They’ve been seeing no change in the mirrors across the house.
Being around each other constantly meant the small changes in the beginning weren’t noticeable so by the time they do notice, it’s already picking up the pace on how effective it is and they have no idea what the source is since the magic is covering the entire house.
Once upon a time, the new source of their magic mishap was a funhouse mirror for humans that genuinely was a harmless charm.
However, the coven is now discovering when the charm interacts with witches, they get the opposite effects - actually gaining the weight but seeing themself at their initial shape rather than staying the same but seeing their body differently.
Instead of the mirror showing a funny image of a human growing taller or being full of funny curves, the witches see themselves exactly the same, but with each check of a mirror in the house, they are changing.
Cravings out of nowhere, hungrier than they have ever been before, sometimes even gaining a few pounds from a prolonged stay in front of the original mirror.
Collectively, they are oblivious for a little while with no reason to question their beautiful new mirror.
They are looking the same so they can mentally write off changes, but then the more they gain, the more there is for the charm to manipulate.
But it soon becomes obvious for some of them.
Yoongi could sit down in his chair for a couple of hours and get up ten pounds heavier.
Jungkook stands in front of the mirror to dye his hair and ends up with intense cravings for days.
Tae stops by various mirrors around the house every time he walks past one and he constantly feels hungry.
By the time they locate the source of the curse, no one escapes the effects - all of them gaining enough weight to require sizing up their shared wardrobe.
They search for cleanses and charms endlessly, hoping to undo the consequences of their beautiful mirror.
And even if they do find a way to reverse their weight gain, would it solve all their problems?
Has their metabolism been untouched? What if their hunger was changed for good?
But the most important question…what if they like the changes?

Chubtober Day 6!
We going with a WIP today, friends. I haven't had much time to write this weekend, but I wanted to share something with you so here is a snippet I have been working on.
It will eventually be posted as a part of the second chapter to last year's Chubtober finale - Full, Fuller, Fullest.
Definitely read that first before checking out this WIP otherwise, it won't make much sense lol!
---
Jimin should have realized sooner that a day or two wasn’t going to be enough to recover from his week-long stuffing. He also should have realized how much being full for a week straight would stretch out his stomach.
Getting ready for bed Sunday night after quite possibly the best week of his life was proving to be more of a challenge than he thought. He wouldn’t say that Jungkook fed him quite as much over the weekend because Jungkook wasn’t the instigator this time around.
Jimin snacked all day long Saturday and had been the one to overdo it all on his own with a few too many dumplings.
Sunday had been a slow afternoon, laying around and finishing their latest drama while Jimin emptied a bag of honey butter chips, two cups of instant ramen, a pint of ice cream, and a couple of random choco pies he found in the pantry - all washed down with a couple cans of Coke.
After brushing his teeth, Jimin lifted up his shirt to see that his stomach almost looked more bloated now than it did a few nights ago. He started to trace a faint pink line that popped up next to his belly button when Jungkook cleared his throat from the doorway of the bathroom.
“So much for that recovery weekend, huh?” Jungkook asked with a teasing smirk. He stepped behind Jimin and reached around to caress his belly.
Jimin leaned back into Jungkook’s chest as he rolled his eyes. “This is all your fault. It was your idea to begin with.”
“Oh no, my idea ended on Friday night. No one forced you to eat our whole snack supply this afternoon,” Jungkook replied, patting Jimin’s still-taut belly a few times.
“Well, someone did seem more focused on that than our show so maybe I had some motivation,” Jimin cut back, trying to hide both his growing smile and blushing cheeks.
Jungkook gently pulled Jimin’s shirt down and tugged his hand over to the other side of the bathroom. He slid their scale out with his foot and gestured for Jimin to step on.
“Well…I seem to remember that someone proposed an idea of his own a few nights ago so let’s see if the ‘recovery’ weekend worked in your favor.”
Jimin rolled his eyes again at Jungkook’s dramatics, but he did step onto the scale, not expecting much since it had only been two days. However, Jimin clearly had to stop making assumptions because the bright red “196.7” blinking up at him made his jaw drop.
“Shit, that's almost 4 more pounds. You definitely don’t need until your birthday. You’ll be 200 by Tuesday at this rate,” Jungkook said, in equal parts seriousness and teasing. He knew Jimin didn’t slow down over the weekend at all, but it certainly didn’t seem like that much.
Jimin let out an involuntary little whimper at Jungkook’s words, realizing he was absolutely right. Somehow Jimin’s little impulsive thought to eat the whole pizza last weekend had turned into him completely wrecking his self-control and metabolism.
He had gone from gaining a slow and casual fifty pounds over the last year to piling on over ten pounds in ten days. Obviously they couldn’t maintain the way he had been eating for the past week all the time, but Jimin knew that his outlandish, partial joke about doubling his gain over the next year was going to be more of a when rather than an if.
Something about that thought turned Jimin on more than he wanted to admit. If they didn’t have to work in the morning, he probably would have told Jungkook to go grab anything from the kitchen so he could feed him again.
Instead, Jimin led Jungkook to their bed and decided that a belly rub would have to be his consolation prize. He drifted off with Jungkook’s warm hands easing the tension of his full belly and his loving whispers lulling him to sleep.
—-
It was moments like this that made Jimin glad he was a freelance writer who could make his own schedule and work from the comfort of his own home. He had woken up to a still bloated and incredibly hungry belly the next morning.
He almost wanted to skip his entire routine and head straight for the kitchen, but he wasn’t ready to let all of his self control completely slip away. After doing his skin care, Jimin selected very comfortable and loose clothes, knowing that his sensitive belly actually needed to start recovering today.
While his coffee brewed, Jimin heated up the container of kimchi rice and made himself three fried eggs to put on top. He also realized that Jungkook had made him a milk bread and strawberry sandwich at some point, which he grabbed from the fridge.
As he scrolled through his emails, Jimin made quick work of his larger-than-normal breakfast. He knew this past week would increase his stomach capacity, so Jimin was going to try to get ahead of his hunger if he could.
His resolution after weighing himself last night was to eat intuitively now. His appetite was clearly leading him toward his goals so he should follow it.
Getting caught up in a list of editing changes kept his focus, not realizing that Jungkook was walking into his office until his partner was setting down a bowl and a cup on his desk. Jimin jumped slightly, looking up with a smile when he saw Jungkook’s smiling face above him.
“Just bringing you a snack, baby. I figured you could use one,” Jungkook said nonchalantly as if it were an innocent gesture.
Jimin laughed but had to agree that he was starting to feel a bit peckish. “Thank you. I hadn’t realized it was already 10:30.”
Jungkook kissed the top of his head in response before reaching down over Jimin’s shoulders until his hands landed on his belly. “Damn, can’t believe you are still so bloated. Maybe you’re stuck like this now.”
“I am not stuck like this,” Jimin replied dryly with a scoff. “I just need more time to settle. Someone kept me filled up like a balloon ready to pop for days on end.”
“Well, you know a balloon deflates eventually,” Jungkook said, dropping a kiss on Jimin’s cheek as he stepped away until he was in the doorway of the office then he continued, “but they don’t shrink.”
Jungkook winked at Jimin before turning to walk down the hall, his laugh echoing as he did. Jimin let out a little offended sound, thankful that Jungkook wasn’t still there to call out the bright red blush filling his cheeks from his teasing.
Jimin was quickly learning that maybe he and Jungkook were better at this whole gaining dynamic thing than they ever knew.
—-
Spending the rest of the day working helped Jimin be more mindful of his intake. He gratefully accepted the simple lunch Jungkook prepared for him, and he had a light snack after he logged off for the day.
Since Jimin had spent the entirety of the last week allowing Jungkook to cook and order all their food, he was looking forward to cooking dinner together. They decided to go with a vegetable stew recipe Jimin had been wanting to try and sat for a much slower-paced dinner than they had been having lately.
Jimin was certainly full after his full bowl of stew and generous helping of rice but not in the way he had been for the past week or so. He was comfortably full where any typical person would end their meal. Knowing that he really could use a break, Jimin did just that.
After dinner, he curled up with Jungkook and said that he was done for the night. He sipped on his water for a while to keep the desire for dessert away until they made their way to bed.
Jimin made an offhand comment about how he felt less bloated already and hoped for an empty and rested belly in the morning. Jungkook started having some suspicions that Jimin was yet again underestimating himself, but he kept quiet.
Quiet until the next morning when Jimin had the sudden revelation that maybe those ten or so pounds had already settled and it wasn’t just bloating after all.
“So, still looking pretty bloated, babe. Maybe you need another day to settle or maybe…”
Jimin looked up from staring at himself in the mirror, taking in Jungkook’s smug expression that confirmed what he was thinking as well. “Or maybe those ten pounds stuck to my belly and this is settled.”
Jungkook brought his arms around Jimin’s waist, patting a few times and enjoying the rippling movement across his now empty but just as round belly. “I’d say this is a bit more than ten. I mean, look at this gut. You have a proper potbelly now, Min.”
“Fuck, you’re right,” Jimin let out breathily, still feeling a bit shocked at this realization. He had been complaining about how all his weight goes straight to his bottom half for so long yet he wasn’t prepared for it finally changing.
Both wanted more than anything to head back to bed and appreciate this new discovery, but they couldn’t take another day off work.
Jimin asked Jungkook to join him in the shower before they realized that was not a good idea. They would lose track of time immediately and get wrapped up in exploring Jimin’s growing body.
Jungkook told Jimin that he would get clothes out for him and go make his breakfast instead. As much as he wanted to join him in the shower, Jungkook told himself to calm down.
Jimin found his chosen outfit lying on their bed, clearly much different than the oversized hoodies and sweatpants he had been wearing around the house lately. The t-shirt Jungkook picked was from college which had been snug when Jimin wore it six months ago.
He pulled on the pair of low-waisted leggings Jungkook picked first. Jimin usually wore them around the house with a cropped sweatshirt, but he hadn’t worn this pair in the last few weeks. The waistband further emphasized how his belly protruded forward all on its own now from where it was tucked below.
Jimin could feel that the shirt was going to be tight as he pulled it over his head. The sleeves hugged his upper arms more than before which was what he noticed first, but that thought came and went when Jimin realized that the hem of his shirt was barely meeting his waistband.
The fabric hugged his skin without a hint of extra room. It made his belly seemingly bigger and rounder than it already had grown to be recently. When Jimin looked himself up and down in the mirror, it was the first time since he started gaining that he genuinely thought ‘wow, I look fat’.
“Holy shit, you do look kind of fat,” Jungkook blurted out from the other side of the room.
Jimin’s head snapped toward him, not aware that Jungkook was back in the room or that he had said his thoughts out loud. Deciding to push a little farther, Jimin began to pout.
“It’s just the shirt, Gguk-ah. You picked an old one.”
Jungkook shook his head as he walked closer. “I don’t think it’s the shirt, Minnie. I think it’s what’s underneath.”
“That’s not true! If you got me a different shirt, it wouldn’t be as noticeable,” Jimin replied, hoping Jungkook would play into his little game.
“Oh yeah, how about we test that?” Jungkook asked, clearly enjoying this just as much. He stepped into their closet and grabbed a shirt that would likely still be small but was a size up.
Jimin couldn’t believe that he was feeling shy, but his face grew warm as he took off his shirt to change in front of Jungkook. He grabbed the other shirt and already anticipated the reaction just from feeling it slide over his shoulders.
It did have more give than the first shirt, but Jimin’s belly was just as prominent as before. If anything, the little bit of extra fabric was actually making him look wider.
“Seems like it wasn’t the shirt so that must mean-“
“It’s the leggings! Low-waisted pants just aren’t flattering,” Jimin countered, cutting Jungkook before he could make his point. “Breakfast ready? I need to start working soon.”
Jungkook barely held back his laugh as Jimin left the bedroom, evading the real answer that they both knew was true. Jimin truly hadn’t gained enough to be considered fat yet, but yet was the keyword for Jungkook because, with the way things were going, it would be sooner rather than later.

Chubtober Day 5!
I've had random little notes about this idea for a long time so I finally organized those thoughts. Enjoy! :)
Read here or on AO3!
---
Heir to a generational wealth empire Min Yoongi essentially dropped off the face of the earth after presenting as an omega.
He was set to be the next alpha to lead the Min empire as the oldest child and only son of his generation, one of the most anticipated eligible bachelors.
Yoongi was swiftly hidden by his family before his presentation was leaked to the public, only spoken to by his paternal grandmother who protected him as his parents considered potential mates like it were a fun matchmaking game for them.
She allowed him to become a hermit, turning him into a local legend about the wolf that “lived away from society in the mansion up on the hill”.
Before she died, his grandmother made many connections, including all of Yoongi’s once-close friends who were also members of the wealthiest families among his family’s circle.
Namjoon, Seokjin, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook had been Yoongi’s closest friends since childhood, even in his incredibly private school where all the wealthiest children in and around Seoul attended.
Yoongi missed them all dearly, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying on their end. They all reached out over and over after the Mins hid Yoongi away, only getting updates from Yoongi’s grandmother assuring that he was safe.
After she passed, the home, the staff, and enough money for Yoongi to live in his secluded mansion on the hill without working for three lifetimes over was left to him without contest from his family as it meant they were able to continue living on without acknowledging his existence.
He heard from his grandmother about his younger sisters over the years and knew both presented as alphas so his family certainly had no use for him now.
However, Yoongi didn’t know his grandmother left letters for each of his former friends with a full explanation of how life ended up this way for him.
She also gave her blessing for all six, now finishing college and set to be mated as a pack, to visit Yoongi in hopes of bringing the real Yoongi back - saving him from a life of isolation and sadness.
They don’t hesitate after receiving the news, traveling to Yoongi with years of memories to show him and the greatest hope of bringing him back into their lives.
It was also outreach made with the gentlest of approaches considering all his grandmother’s warnings about how Yoongi had changed, his personality and demeanor completely changed to match his reserved life.
Yoongi wouldn’t even allow them in for the first three visits, but they continued sending food and letters, hoping to gain his trust.
The food was delicious and the most Yoongi had eaten in years after letting himself partially rot away since the dramatic ostracizing from his family.
Yoongi finally allowed the house staff to invite them in after he realized they were the same people he was friends with all those years ago, no matter what toxic bullshit his parents tried to convince him to believe.
Jin and Jimin telling him that they were omegas in the letters also helped settle his deeply built anxiety surrounding his presentation that was still being suppressed and forced down by Yoongi.
Once they are let into his home, it’s as if life was breathed back into Yoongi.
His friends passed no judgment, asked no difficult questions in the beginning, and simply just expressed how much they missed him and cherished the opportunity to regain his friendship.
They all supported his omega presentation, complimented how he matured over the years, and shared stories of places he would love to explore with them one day.
And most importantly, they fed him. Often.
Jin and Jimin were raised to be ideal omegas, having so many nurturing qualities and skills including cooking and baking.
Yoongi hadn’t eaten a true home-cooked meal that wasn’t prepared by house staff in years, on top of the fact that he hadn’t shared a meal with more than just his grandmother in even longer.
As they visited Yoongi more often, they eventually started to bring up the difficult topics, most importantly the distinct lack of his scent which should permeate the walls of a house that he had barely left in almost a decade.
Namjoon and Hoseok eventually get him to admit that his omega has been physically suppressed since the moment of his presentation and mentally suppressed since he was ousted from his family with little more than a “good riddance”.
He explained that his grandmother never pushed him to recognize his omega for fear of losing him to his wolf side for lack of a pack or tether to the human side.
All of them were devastated to hear Yoongi fully unload his emotional burden after keeping it in for so long, clearly something that had weighed on him beyond comprehension.
They all held high-functioning roles in their families and felt guilty for not coming to see him even more than they already did now.
With dedicated planning, they came up with a schedule that allowed at least one of them to almost always be up at the house with Yoongi.
They started leaving scented items around his home, getting more generous with their physical affection, and still ensuring that he only got to enjoy the finest homemade meals even when they weren’t there to share the food with him.
It reached a breaking point when the pack was away for nearly three weeks after a strenuous heat/rut cycle.
The alphas, Namjoon and Jungkook, had intense desires for Yoongi to be present with them that the omegas, Jin and Jimin, mirrored, if not expressed even more - Jimin in tears more than once over the lack of their “entire” pack present for his heat.
The betas, Hoseok and Taehyung, struggled and did everything they had always done for their mates, but almost called Yoongi multiple times before talking themselves out of it.
Once they returned together to Yoongi’s home, he immediately saw the effects of the vicious cycle on them.
The omegas looked pale and exhausted, faces puffy from emotion and the alphas were fidgeting and seeming territorial in a place that wasn’t even their actual territory.
The betas were mostly calm, but they both had lingering worries that came out in being overly attentive to everyone including Yoongi.
They finally admitted what happened after Yoongi pushed the issue and it’s close to a near-shared breakdown.
All six made it firmly clear that they wanted him in their pack and pushed off mating to the point of frustrating the families in hopes that they could be seven instead of six.
Yoongi was shocked and had a breakdown of his own, thinking that he would have died alone with no sign of his deeply resigned omega sooner rather than later, and now he’s being offered the pack of his dreams.
He had no reason to object and they immediately welcomed him with open arms, slowly working up to him recognizing his omega and leaving his home to at least visit their penthouse in the city.
Prior to mating though, Yoongi had to find his wolf and let his omega surface in order to actually mate.
They realized that he never truly presented and after getting help from specialists, Yoongi genuinely experienced his omega presentation at 25 instead of 15.
Jin and Jimin helped him through every moment and explained every possible thing he needed to know.
The pack spoiled him to no end and with the sudden onset of hormones and pampering on top of his wolf finally feeling security and safety, the true weight began to pile on for Yoongi.
They never hesitated to indulge his cravings and always were there to do things for him, on top of the huge surge of feeding during his first pre-heat.
From there, they mated after Yoongi’s first heat and they split their time between the mansion on the hill and the city penthouse.
Yoongi got to see that being an omega was never wrong especially when Jin and Jimin ran their home and had confident roles in their respective family businesses.
The pack never pushed him beyond what he could handle, and they protected him from his family once their mating was announced.
Yoongi eventually became the stay-at-home omega of the pack, no interest in pursuing anything beyond that after years of becoming comfortable and safe in his home.
He explored the hobbies he had let himself lose before and allowed his pack to pamper him and build his confidence.
When they eventually started to build a family, Yoongi finally felt like he found his life’s purpose.
He taught their children that all presentations were valid and important, telling them the legend of the omega who lived in the mansion on the hill and the pack that saved the omega’s life.
Yoongi also continued to fill out during the pregnancies whether it was his or not, the pampering and settling weight gain never really stopping over the years.
He couldn’t even find it in himself to care whenever he noticed he gained more or had to size up again. If regaining his life and gaining his perfect pack came with gaining a couple (hundred) pounds, so be it.

Chubtober Day 4!
Another idea that doesn’t come from any particular prompt list, but I do enjoy this cute little idea a lot. Any reason for Fae Jihope is a good one!
Read here or on AO3!
Insomniac Yoongi who has finally hit a wall with all the other methods and lack of sleep so he seeks out more magical methods that he initially tried to avoid.
He is recommended Fae Hobi and Jimin for their services who are more than willing to help.
Being Fae, Hobi and Jimin are both cunning and charming but slightly detached from human society norms and understandings.
Yoongi goes through some sort of ritual with them and they assure him he should be feeling more well-rested.
He notices a change almost instantly and could cry from relief, calls Hobi and Jimin to thank them after just a week.
After a month, Yoongi has noticed that his sleep has never been better and he’s waking up every morning feeling rested and even energetic which he’s never felt before.
However, he’s also noticed that his pants are feeling a little more snug and his cheeks look fuller.
He wrote it off as actually eating and sleeping normally now instead of staying up too late, living on coffee, and not eating enough.
Another six weeks passed and Yoongi could not ignore the fact that it’s definitely more than filling out the weight he was missing.
His jeans don’t fit from his growing potbelly, his cheeks have gone from fuller to straight up chubby, and his shirts feel much more clingy than they ever have been.
He tries to recall if he’s actually eating more and he can’t see any actual diet changes besides less coffee which should be better for him.
Yoongi decides to approach Hobi and Jimin about the concern thinking it could potentially be a side effect he missed them explaining or just a possibility they were unaware of, maybe even them leaving out details so they got more business but they didn’t seem like the type to do it maliciously.
Hobi and Jimin immediately tell him how well-rested and refreshed he looked when he stepped into their shop.
Yoongi says he is well-rested and refreshed, but he was slightly concerned about his sudden weight gain that has happened since doing the ritual.
Hobi and Jimin are confused about Yoongi’s confusion. They tell him it’s all a part of meeting his needs.
Yoongi asks for more clarification and then Hobi and Jimin ask if he’s feeling full and energized in the morning and he says more than ever.
They then ask him to think about why that is and when Yoongi says the ritual, Hobi and Jimin say yes but not entirely.
The ritual allows him to find sleep easier, but it also allows him to safely eat until hes completely full while in a sleep state in the middle of the night because he will return to bed with a food-induced deeper sleep and then wake with this full belly and energy stored up.
Yoongi begins to freak out, asking why they wouldn’t explain that and why they would do that to him.
Hobi and Jimin are genuinely confused even more and say they did what he asked, that he looks wonderful - happy and rested.
This makes Yoongi step back and realize they are right.
He’s felt physically better than ever, not stressed about sleeping in the past few months which has never happened with any medical or natural method before.
Hobi and Jimin make Yoongi realize that nothing is actually wrong, but he does ask them if they can reduce it or help him find another way to get rest.
When they ask why, Yoongi does say it’s not a sustainable method for the rest of his life which they do agree after he gives his reasons.
They do find another solution that doesn’t involve his night eating binges and allow him to still sleep healthily and peacefully.
However, the past months of increased eating have established a new normal for his body so his hunger reacts accordingly during the day.
His intake has not reduced at all after changing his sleep ritual, but now it’s actually intentionally eaten by him throughout the day so his gain continues.
Every time he checks in with Hobi and Jimin, they continue complimenting him and Yoongi forms a friendship with them rather than a client relationship.
They further his gain by being doting and loving as friends then eventual partners.
Yoongi never has trouble sleeping again, but he certainly has to size up his clothes quite a few times over the years…especially after discovering how delicious Fae food is.

Chubtober Day 3
This does not follow any chubtober prompts, but it's something to share. Plus there is no shortage of Yoonmin ideas around here.
Just a note since I was asked about my rules or preferences for prompts! My list of will or will not topics is in my pinned post. I also do not write canon fics. It is just a personal preference! I am happy to look at AU prompts or canon divergence.
Read here or on AO3!
---
Jimin had always pushed the interest away knowing that it was so “shameful and weird”, struggling to even call it a kink in his head.
He felt so embarrassed to have the feelings he did towards chubby and fat people he saw in daily life and that only got worse when Yoongi started putting on weight unintentionally.
They had been best friends since high school and even lived together for a year in college, but Yoongi was always thin and scrawny for as long as they’d known each other.
He never dieted or worked out, but he didn’t eat much and smoked probably too much.
When Yoongi got a high-paying job in the city and needed somewhere to stay for six months before his new apartment was ready, Jimin immediately said yes.
He loved his hyung, admittedly more than he’d ever shared with anyone except Taehyung.
As Yoongi started his new job, he worked from home most of the time but often had in-person lunch meetings and business dinners.
Those didn’t start taking effect until Yoongi decided that he wanted to cut down on smoking and drinking.
He had been doing both more than he ever had in college with these new business events and didn’t like how bad his habits were getting.
In the process of cutting back on those two things, his food intake and weight started to go up. And as that happened, Jimin was losing his mind.
Jimin started to feel flustered anytime he saw Yoongi in an old shirt that was obviously a little more snug or during their movie nights on the couch where Yoongi’s hand dipped into the bowls of snacks much more often than he ever would have before.
With that overwhelmed interest, Jimin also felt embarrassment and shame. He shouldn’t be looking at his best friend like that, especially without Yoongi’s consent so he distanced himself.
Jimin started teaching more evening classes at his and Hobi’s studio.
He started going on morning runs citing a need to stay in better shape to keep up with his senior competition team that he choreographed and trained. He started eating meals separately and skipping out on movie nights by “falling asleep early on accident”.
The shift in his behavior was obvious and Yoongi picked up on it right away. Jimin was always an open book to him and he was concerned.
In his few attempts to get Jimin talking, Yoongi was fairly unsuccessful, but he knew immediately that Jimin was staying overly positive by trying to hide something that was likely bothering him.
Yoongi had two more months before his new apartment was set to be ready, but he found out the building renovation was also behind schedule so he decided that was an appropriate time to bring up his concerns with Jimin.
He decided to be direct and ask Jimin if he would like Yoongi to move out. He was growing more concerned that Jimin no longer wanted to live with him and couldn’t find the right way to ask Yoongi to leave.
Finding a new temporary place until his apartment was ready would be a pain, but he would do anything to ensure Jimin’s comfort and happiness.
Jimin was immediately emotional, feeling terrible that he made Yoongi feel that way and very apologetic for his behavior.
Yoongi stepped in to hug him and calm him down, telling him to wait to explain until he was able to stop crying.
After calming down, Jimin started to completely unload his feelings, deciding the embarrassment and shame he would need to face with Yoongi was worth it to keep their friendship intact.
Yoongi was endeared more than anything, genuinely unable to feel offended by Jimin pointing out his weight gain when he was being so sweet and apologetic.
Yoongi did acknowledge his gain and told Jimin that it “just kind of happened”, picking up different habits to replace the worse ones he was trying to stop.
He also told Jimin that he didn’t particularly care, perfectly accepting of his body and feeling that gaining a bit of weight was much better than his chain smoking.
Jimin said he agreed, his interests aside. Yoongi also pressed farther knowing that there was more to be acknowledged than simply the distance.
He decided Jimin had given his fair share of honesty already, so it was Yoongi’s turn.
With confidence he wished he had years ago, Yoongi asked Jimin if he had any interest in him beyond his recent weight gain.
Jimin tried to feign confusion, internally panicking that Yoongi was about to upend their entire friendship until Yoongi said, “Because I do”.
Yoongi explained how long he had cared for Jimin, enjoying his unwavering presence and support, complimenting that Jimin was intelligent and talented and beautiful.
Jimin was shocked and emotional again, wanting to share in the admission, but the first thing he blurted was “You don’t think I’m weird?”
Yoongi laughed and shook his head. “Everyone is weird, Jimin-ah, but you thinking that gaining weight is attractive is far from weird.
I like everything about you, including that. I promise.” Jimin was flustered again by Yoongi but for an entirely different reason.
He leaned in again to hug Yoongi and whispered, “I like everything about you too, hyung.”
Fast forward six months and Yoongi had moved into his new, fancy downtown apartment, but Jimin had also come with him.
They transitioned from friendship and roommates into a romantic relationship with ease, having years of connection as a foundation.
Yoongi’s weight gain also continued, met with appreciation and enthusiasm from Jimin while also gathering a bit of intrigue for himself.
He certainly didn’t have the same response to ill-fitting pants and an overly full stomach that Jimin had, but Yoongi did respond to Jimin’s attention, and that made his growing waistline worth it.
It had only been six months of dating Jimin, around a year of living together, and a little over 70 pounds gained, but Yoongi had no intention of any of those three things stopping any time soon.

Chubtober Day 2!
Today's prompt is a combination of two from older Chubtober prompt lists - Fall Fair and Bellyaches & Binges. Enjoy Jungkook eating way too much at the fair!
Read here or on AO3!
---
Jimin had not stopped talking about visiting the fall fair since he found out about it. He always thought it looked so fun filled with bright lights, cute games, and most importantly, delicious food. Jungkook couldn’t possibly say no when Jimin asked if they could spend their entire Saturday at the grand opening of the two-week fair.
As they stepped onto the fairgrounds, the aroma of warm sugar and freshly popped popcorn filled the air. "Where should we start?" Jimin asked, his eyes scanning the booths of games and food lining both sides of the walkway.
“Well, I’ve always wanted to try a funnel cake and that could pass as a sweet breakfast, right?” Jungkook replied, immediately realizing that Jimin’s desire to visit the fair was actually an amazing idea considering the smells surrounding him. His stomach had started to rumble as soon as they arrived.
Their first stop was at a booth adorned with colorful signs advertising deep-fried delights. They ordered a large funnel cake topped with powdered sugar and strawberries. "Mmm, this is so good," Jimin sighed as he took a few bites.
As he should have expected, Jimin handed the plate to Jungkook after barely making a dent, saying he wanted to save room for more food. While Jimin had a small appetite, Jungkook knew he could finish off the funnel cake and have more than enough room to continue on their day of taste testing the fair.
Next, they wandered over to the barbecue stand, enticed by the savory scent of grilled meats. Jungkook couldn't resist ordering multiple sides on top of the pulled pork sandwich Jimin picked out.
"I think I'm already getting full," Jimin chuckled as he wiped barbecue sauce from his chin, only managing two bites of the sandwich. Jungkook just laughed and accepted the container his boyfriend handed over, encouraging Jimin to try a few bites of the coleslaw and mac and cheese.
Jimin figured they should probably try a game or a ride before buying more food. He knew Jungkook could keep eating well into the day, but he wanted to pace himself to make sure he got to try everything he wanted.
After a few spins around the Ferris wheel and Jungkook taking a few attempts to win Jimin a stuffed bunny at the ring toss game, they made their way back over to the various food booths. Jungkook managed to find the main tent after looking over their map and the food options seemed endless.
The full food stand was offering everything from huge trays of nachos to giant turkey legs to massive ice cream sundaes. Each vendor seemed to outdo the last in terms of portion size and creativity. Jimin couldn't resist buying a bucket of chocolate chip cookies, while Jungkook ordered a jumbo-sized pretzel, a footlong corn dog, a turkey leg, cheese fries loaded with toppings, and a giant deep-fried pickle with a tray full of assorted sauces for everything.
As Jungkook arranged his food on an open picnic table, Jimin returned with an overflowing bucket of cookies, a milkshake, and two sodas. He slid the milkshake toward Jungkook and said he couldn’t resist because it looked so good.
Jungkook looked at it with a mix of surprise and amusement. "Are you trying to fatten me up?"
“Don’t be silly! I wanted to try it,” Jimin cut back, rolling his eyes at his boyfriend.
“Min, we both know you never have more than a few sips of any milkshake, especially considering how much we’ve been eating today.”
“But I have you! I get to try everything I want and nothing goes to waste,” Jimin said as he waved his hand toward Jungkook’s full belly.
Jungkook rolled his eyes and tried to hold back his smile. “I’m not a garbage disposal, baby. I’m getting full too.”
Jimin giggled but nodded in agreement. "Okay, that is fair. Consider it a challenge then," he teased, winking at his boyfriend knowing Jungkook can’t resist any sort of competition. “Also, how could you ask me that looking at all this you ordered for yourself?”
“Hey! I ordered this for both of us. You love pretzels and you said you wanted to try a turkey leg,” Jungkook replied, defending himself for ordering with his eyes instead of his already full stomach.
Jimin just kissed his cheek in thanks and sat down, holding back from continuing to tease his sweet boyfriend. It was a date after all and Jungkook was actually doing a great job of making their fair date everything Jimin wanted it to be.
As Jungkook and Jimin slowly made their way through their spread of fair food, the full weight of their indulgent day settled upon Jungkook. Jimin had five bites at most of any single item, pushing the rest off onto his boyfriend to finish. Jungkook's discomfort became more palpable as he felt his pants fitting less and less comfortably as he ate, his hand subtly adjusting the waistband of his jeans every few minutes.
"You okay, Gguk?" Jimin asked, noticing Jungkook's discomfort.
Jungkook let out a soft groan. "I think I might have overdone it," he admitted sheepishly, leaning back and letting out a deep sigh as he rubbed the top of his full belly. He felt his face warming up a bit, flushed with a wave of self-consciousness once he realized just how much he’d eaten since they arrived at the fair.
"Maybe I shouldn't have eaten that entire turkey leg," Jungkook mused, his voice tinged with amusement in an attempt to hide his embarrassment.
As much as Jimin wanted to laugh, he actually had to agree. He hadn’t eaten maybe a quarter of what Jungkook had, yet he was feeling just as full. "I think I've eaten enough to last me a week. I wish I could unbutton my pants," Jimin groaned, pushing the containers toward the center of the table.
Jungkook laughed, thinking that his boyfriend had no room to talk considering his own waistband felt like it would permanently mark his skin with how tight it was at the moment. Somehow though, all things considered, Jungkook was staring at the containers with remnants of food left thinking he shouldn’t let it go to waste.
Jimin assumed they were done and ready to walk a bit to digest before heading home, but to his surprise, Jungkook actually reached for the last few cookies at the bottom of the bucket.
“I don’t even know how you are still eating, Jungkookie. You just said you overdid it,” Jimin joked, hoping Jungkook didn’t end up sick from his day full of eating but appreciating how much Jungkook was clearly enjoying their day out.
“Well, like you said, this stuff shouldn’t go to waste. We’ve spent so much money today, might as well get our money's worth,” Jungkook replied before eating one of the cookies in a single bite.
Jimin simply hummed in agreement, reaching across the table to wipe some chocolate from Jungkook’s lip. Then as he started cleaning up the table, Jimin held up any morsel of food left to his boyfriend and watched as Jungkook continued to somehow find room to finish off everything they ordered.
Jungkook let out another deep sigh as he polished off the last cookie, feeling like he was actually at risk of losing the button on his jeans. He could not remember a time he had been so full even with his massive appetite. Jimin took care of him well and always encouraged him to eat as much as he wanted, but his boyfriend had outdone himself that day.
The walk to the car felt more like a waddle for Jungkook, almost feeling winded as he was still digesting an absurd amount of food. Jimin seemed full himself, but he was moving and talking like normal, going on about how he was so happy that they came to the fair which made Jungkook feel like stuffing himself full of fried food and sugar was worth it, especially seeing Jimin’s bright smile.
Back at home, Jungkook stood in front of the bathroom mirror, examining his reflection with a mixture of amusement and concern. He poked at his now protruding belly, full and round enough to overhang the waistband of his sweatpants and feeling every bite of their big fair food day.
"You know," he said loud enough for Jimin to hear from the bedroom, "I think I might have gained a few pounds today."
Jimin, who made his way to the bathroom, chuckled softly. "Honestly, it’s possible. You really put your appetite to work today," he admitted, joining him in front of the mirror. "But it was worth it, right? I had a great time. I’ve always wanted to go to the fair."
Jungkook nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Definitely worth it, best date we’ve had in a while, but maybe we should lay off the deep-fried everything for a while."
Jimin laughed, gently reaching over to poke at Jungkook’s taut belly. "I promise not to order so much next time.”
They both chuckled at the image of Jimin piling food onto Jungkook's plate throughout the day. Despite his teasing, Jungkook couldn't deny that he felt a twinge of regret over his lack of restraint. "I think I need to hit the gym this week," he said, mostly to himself.
“Or we could go back to the fair. You know, get our steps in and play more games this time. It’s only in town for two weeks. We should make the most of it!”
“Yeah, I guess we should, but I’m definitely hitting the gym after.”
“Of course, babe, whatever you say.”

Chubtober is here!
Hey friends, it's been a while! Life is hard and jobs suck, but it's Chubtober and I'm going to do my very best to keep up with it all month. Hopefully, it revives our little community a bit because I miss seeing the activity. Feel free to send prompts whether it follows the Chubtober prompts out there or not! I tend to do my own things this month as long as I'm writing. I hope you enjoy! :)
Read here or on AO3!
This one is from the Farmer's Market prompt on fatguarddog's 2024 Chubtober prompt list.
---
It all started when Jin became a talented sourdough home baker. What began as a simple hobby developed into a lucrative small business. He had a standing booth at the weekly farmer’s market next to another small business owner. Jimin was also a baker, known for his aesthetic desserts and breakfast pastries.
They had neighboring stands every Saturday morning without missing and became very popular stops for young locals and families. One of those regular customers quickly became Jin and Jimin’s favorite - Yoongi. The pair would consider him one of their biggest supporters, always purchasing multiple items at both stands.
A loaf of bread, a pack of bagels, cinnamon rolls, “flavor of the week” cakes, cookie samplers, new pastry flavors. Yoongi’s haul was always impressive. Jin and Jimin were both incredibly grateful and also assumed that Yoongi must live with family or have a pack. They considered he may even bring them into his office or host a Sunday morning brunch after the Saturday farmer’s market.
But in reality, Yoongi was single, lived alone, never willingly hosted anything, and mostly worked from home. His hauls were solely for him because Yoongi thought the bakers deserved it. A handsome, funny man who could bake delicious bread and a cute, charming omega who could create beautiful desserts were a dual-sided attack on Yoongi’s willpower.
In his first week of meeting them, he bought a bit of everything just to support the duo thinking he could freeze the extras or give some to his elderly neighbors. What Yoongi hadn’t expected was their stuff being so delicious that it was now all he craved and always needed in the house. On top of that, even though he wouldn’t admit it, Yoongi certainly had a crush on both omegas.
After a few months, Yoongi was surprised to see two additional people with them. Jimin had an alpha at his booth named Namjoon who always had plants and flower arrangements while Jin brought Taehyung, a beta who grew up on a farm that produced fresh dairy products and fruits.
Yoongi had more than enough money to throw around and started developing quite the appetite so he started buying from all four of them. His already big hauls of baked goods turned into him bringing home huge hauls from the two booths that were of course still right next to each other. He tried to ignore the feelings of disappointment at both omegas seeming to have partners, but their baked goods certainly filled the void of his emotions.
Jin and Jimin loved talking with Yoongi, asking his thoughts on recent new items, and taking any suggestions he had. They never ventured into more personal topics, but Jin and Jimin both started to notice that Yoongi only carried his own omega scent and that he only talked about himself or his neighbors enjoying their food.
Their small talk always filled the space while Jin and Jimin would pack his things nicely in cute bags with little notes, but after Yoongi left, the omegas would speak between themselves about how sweet Yoongi was.
However, one thing they never discussed was the clear fact that Yoongi was getting a bit softer. He certainly had fuller cheeks and a little belly that seemed to start becoming more noticeable with his rotation of farmer’s market outfits. If anything, they thought Yoongi looked much healthier now than when they first met him.
After a few months, Jin and Jimin begin to question if it’s just softness. When more of the gain was enough to be noticeable and it was settling more on Yoongi’s belly, they had a passing moment of thinking Yoongi could be pregnant. Maybe all of this has been a pregnancy craving and that is what made him such a dedicated customer.
But as omegas, they knew the other signs and nothing else was seeming like pregnancy. He had this round belly that started to show more at certain times. They debated asking, but it felt so invasive and rude to assume. Then another two or three weeks passed of Jin and Jimin talking about it after he left their booths and Yoongi’s next stop was a local brewery’s booth where he took a couple of samples. It confirmed for Jin and Jimin that he was simply gaining weight and to them, it almost felt satisfying to know they were providing for him in a way.
While the other two were finding themselves so endeared with him, Yoongi was admittedly a bit dejected to find out that both omegas seemed to have committed partners, but that certainly would not stop him from supporting them. It also may have to do with the fact that he can’t imagine going without their delicious food. They were sweet to him, always gave him a little extra for free, and genuinely seemed to care about how he was doing each week.
Somehow, Yoongi missed all the signs that it may be more than both omegas having their own partners. Being raised in a family that was “traditional” meant that he saw mates as monogamous couples. He didn’t put together that the four of them were clearly a pack.
He simply reasoned in his head that they were just really good friends. When Jimin hopped over to Jin’s booth to ask for something and kissed him on the cheek in thanks, it was a friendly gesture. When Taehyung hugged Namjoon while fondly watching the omegas make a joint sale, Yoongi thought it was nice that alphas were so affectionate in their friendships.
When two other “random” guys showed up at their booths and Jin introduced them to him, Yoongi again somehow missed the way Jin comforted a shy alpha named Jungkook or how the beta named Hoseok immediately moved to help Jimin restock one of his display shelves.
It was clear Yoongi was starting to place some distance between them after a while. He didn’t want to embarrass himself with the weird flirting that sometimes developed on his end so now he just stopped to buy his usual order and stayed long enough for them to pack it up. Granted, that was still quite a bit of time since Yoongi started with just a tote bag thinking he would try the market once to see if there was anything he wanted and has since upgraded to a cart solely for his bakery hauls.
The pack started to catch on that Yoongi was slightly oblivious and even more lonely considering how he’d missed all their hints at more than a customer relationship. When he started to pull away from engaging with them, they were disappointed but decided not to push him and just remain hopeful that they could get through to him at some point.
However, taking it slow went out the window when Yoongi missed two weekends in a row. He hadn’t missed since the first time Jin and Jimin met him and they were genuinely worried about him. They even considered trying to find him online or reaching out through their digital payment system, but they decided to be patient.
After those two weeks, Yoongi showed up looking tired and pale. He had clearly lost a little weight and lacked his usual pleasant demeanor. Something about Jin and Jimin being fellow omegas made Yoongi comfortable enough to explain that he caught the flu that somehow developed into an unexpected heat.
The other two omegas were worried, almost horrified, at the thought that no one was there to take care of him. They had yet to confirm if Yoongi lived with anyone or had a pack, but the lack of other scents and always coming to the market alone made it likely that he was alone.
Both immediately offered to come by later with some soup and more substantial food so Yoongi could actually rest. Yoongi wanted to say no, but the fact that they were so kind and seemed so safe allowed him to say yes. And as much as he wanted to deny it, Yoongi did feel his omega immediately preen at the idea of being taken care of by the other two.
When they dropped off food, Jin and Jimin were able to confirm that only one scent was present at his place and it was fairly standard furnishing and decor for a single person. They decided right there to make a more concerted effort to get closer to him even if Yoongi only wanted to be friends. He still hadn’t seemed to pick up any of the hints from the pack, but they were not quitters.
The following month left Yoongi feeling torn as the sweet bakers from the farmer’s market were slowly becoming his friends who he could rely on to bring him delicious food and genuine conversation, but the struggle to keep his attraction to them at bay was growing in tandem. And this emotional turmoil seemed to distract Yoongi from the fact that his growing attachment to these new people in his life was not the only thing growing.
Every time Yoongi told himself to again put distance between himself and them, maybe even skip the farmer’s market one weekend, was overshadowed by their kindness and desire to connect with him. The biggest gesture came as a surprise to him.
Jin and Jimin show up unannounced one day with two weeks' worth of meals in hand as their heats were approaching. They warned him that they wouldn’t be at the next market and made him meals on top of extra baked goods plus some flowers from Namjoon and a whole bundle of stuff from Tae’s family farm. They left multiple bags on his counter before hugging him and heading home, leaving him to unpack the surprises.
Yoongi found that they wrote little notes for everything about the best ways to reheat or prepare to make it last longer, with an extra little letter from them saying they would miss him which left him feeling butterflies, a blush high on his cheeks from a simple note. He was beyond crushing on them at this point. Yoongi was in love.
That thought terrified him as they were taken omegas. Yoongi couldn’t possibly impose on any relationships. He wasn’t even sure how he could face them again at this point. The embarrassment of becoming lonely enough to rely on vendors at the farmer’s market turned friends for comfort pushed him toward one answer. He needed to try dating again.
His omega mother had been trying to set him up for years and he’s finally going to let her do it. He can’t crush on these mated omegas forever. Yoongi made sure to emphasize that his mom should pick a beta who was calm and accepting. He wasn’t asking for much.
However, Yoongi should have sent his mom a new picture to use since she clearly sent her friend’s son one of his graduation photos. The beta arrived outside the restaurant to meet Yoongi and the awkward look up and down made the omega feel exposed and judged. He knew the picture held a much slimmer, more confident Yoongi and the date readily reminded him of that.
Riding home in the taxi left Yoongi feeling drained and anxious, maybe even humiliated. The beta had raised a brow at him ordering pasta instead of a salad and all the conversations led back to if Yoongi had any physical hobbies. He felt judged and forced to think about his weight gain which was a topic he kept shoved in the corner of his mind more and more lately.
His solution now? Continuing his normal routine of visiting the farmer’s market and forcing his omega to realize that Jin, Jimin, and the others with them were going to remain friends - that’s all. And maybe he would let himself fantasize about living in a comfortable cottage with Jin and Jimin, eating their delicious food and feeling content. What was the harm in that?
Yoongi decided to rip the bandage off the following Saturday, telling Jin and Jimin about his disaster of a date, but the reaction he received was completely unexpected. The omegas were clearly putting on a fake smile for him, seeming bothered by the fact he went on a date even before Yoongi shared the outcome. It seemed to boost their mood that it went terribly and they expressed their sympathy, saying some people were just assholes and he deserved better.
Jin added two extra cupcakes to his box of pastries to “lift his spirits” and Jimin drew little hearts and smiley faces on all the labels. Neither of those things was particularly out of the ordinary, but Yoongi felt it was a little more charged than usual. He couldn’t seem to let go of how disappointed they both seemed when he said he went on a date and then relieved when he explained that it was bad.
Then Jin and Jimin both start dropping by with food more and more, asking him to test new recipes for the market or simply offering to bring by dinner since they “made too much”. Their meal drop-off chats grew longer and longer until Jin and Jimin started offering to cook dinner at his place, hanging out and sharing the meal with him. It always came with an excuse like the planned meal would be better fresh or they were over near his place anyway since they needed to pick up the ingredients.
Yoongi had started to ask if Namjoon and Taehyung were okay with them spending so much extra time with him, thinking they should be at their respective homes for dinner instead. It still hadn’t occurred to him that they were all in a pack together and sometimes he even felt like Jin and Jimin were doing this almost as a charity to him than friendship.
However, the other two constantly reassured him that they wanted to be there, that their mates were perfectly happy to let them be there, but that they would leave him be if they were overstaying their welcome. The only excuse Yoongi could even think of was that he shouldn’t be eating so much hearty food since his pants needed to be sized up, but his omega shut that down before any denying words came out.
Almost six months and 50 pounds later, Yoongi finally realized they were a pack. Jin and Jimin were over once again, cooking in his kitchen and feeding him random bits as they went. Everything was going as normal until Jimin slipped up and cut his hand. It was a minor cut, but it was bleeding quite a bit and as his omega mate, Jin naturally was very worried.
Jin asked Yoongi for bandages as he ran Jimin’s hand under the faucet. Yoongi hurried off to his bathroom to find his first aid kit while he heard comforting whispers from Jin. As he returned from the bathroom, Yoongi was surprised to see Jimin calming Jin with a kiss, telling him that it was just a small cut.
Yoongi felt stuck, confused at that level of intimacy between close friends. He had seen them affectionate before, but this felt well beyond acceptable friendship especially when they both had partners. As he sees Jin then lean in and scent Jimin much more deeply than a friend would ever consider, Yoongi couldn’t resist speaking up about how they were even closer than he realized.
The other two omegas were clearly confused yet seemed to understand there was somehow a miscommunication going on. Jin simply said, “I mean, I feel like most packs are this close, but if we are making you uncomfortable, we can definitely leave. Just say the word.”
Yoongi’s racing mind came to a screeching halt, berating his childhood mind for limiting him to traditional thinking and holding him back from knowing so much more about these wonderful people. His omega was screaming at him that there was a chance for them now.
Jin and Jimin saw the moment it clicked for him and felt hope building up for their pack too. They decided to pause, asking Yoongi to let them wrap up Jimin’s hand before taking him to their pack home as they wanted to have an open conversation with everyone. Yoongi was shocked once again to find out that there wasn’t just a tiny chance for him, he was wanted by their pack.
The lingering insecurity of his weight gain and clear lack of knowledge of pack life started to brew up anxiety, but his omega shut it down real quick as he watched Jin and Jimin pack up the dinner they prepared for him to take back home with them.
Yoongi played through all their interactions since he met them at the farmer’s market and had the staggering realization that they obviously won’t care about the weight gain. Jin and Jimin had been feeding him for months, giving him extras, and making him huge, delicious meals. It wasn’t charity and it wasn’t pity.
Jin and Jimin had been courting him all along and they were very good at it. Yoongi had a feeling that if courting was this successful, mating would be even better.

Little Bite #36
This is not a typical little bite drabble or draft, but I have these short HCs for all seven on what gaining from a lack of control over their eating would look like that I've developed and wanted to share.
Feel free to share your own or send ideas expanding on these if you would like! ---
Jin
Jin has always eaten for enjoyment and pleasure yet with moderation and control. He grew up wanting for very little in a well-off family though that also came with the expectation of appearance. Not necessarily fitting an image of fit and slim, but it did carry a tone of requiring politeness and control - never a social setting acceptable to appear gluttonous or improper.
Once on his own with less reason to ‘perform’ for his family and more independence to make his own choices, Jin explored his hobbies and tastes with a seemingly endless budget. If he wanted to try a new restaurant or attempt a new recipe, nothing was stopping him. He already had an indulgent personality and the newfound freedom did little for his flimsy willpower.
Replacing clothes, stocking his kitchen, and ordering food when he didn’t want to cook wasn’t even a thought because he was enjoying himself. Life is nothing without happiness and if food is his happiness at the moment, why limit it? Hitting limits like physical comfort, burdening insecurity, and addressing concerns about his weight are problems for future Jin.
Yoongi
Yoongi is completely unaware of his appetite capabilities leading to him becoming reliant on food for contentedness, a feeling he is chasing more and more as time goes on.
The realization of lack of control and gaining is a surprise, but it also does little to disrupt his habits because the warmth and comfort of finally being content that comes with being full or even just sturdier is ten times better than caring about his appearance.
Indulging also brings in a newfound sense of connection that he lacked with his habits of overworking and isolation. Social interactions with his close people often center around food which is where the slip into overeating begins.
He finds himself craving those feelings even when he is alone and that is when eating becomes a desired comfort rather than a basic necessity. Yoongi will eventually take on the mindset that gaining weight is a show of his comfort and that is more than acceptable for him.
Hoseok
Hobi is the picture-perfect image of control. All aspects of his personality and life reflect his natural ability to lead, maintain, and dictate. Control is something that brings him peace and security which is why he exercises it so freely yet firmly. Little he does in life threatens his control which is an active choice he makes to ensure it stays intact.
However, as life is for everyone, one cannot control everything. When something enters Hobi’s life that completely removes his control, he becomes reactive and impulsive to do anything to get that control back as soon as possible.
If something were to happen physically like getting injured or dealing with a minor but prolonged illness, he would take any advice to ‘fix’ what he can. Being forced to make changes and adjust his routines due to this new obstacle taking control would frustrate him in ways almost nothing can touch his strong resolve.
Hobi does nothing casually, the full effort being made in all his choices so if the advice is to bulk up and regain his strength to heal and return to normal life quicker, he would take drastic action to make that happen. In his haste to take his control over his life back, Hobi unintentionally dismantles his control surrounding food.
Namjoon
Namjoon views everything in life to have purpose and eating is fuel for him in all ways. He may even start with the feeling that food is fuel for physical needs, but stress would bring on an attitude that food is also fuel for his mind and emotions. This shift in thinking would turn him from an intentional and functional eater to an unintentional and reactive eater.
Namjoon would also have a surface-level apathy toward body expectations where outwardly he doesn't buy into expectations and his body can look however it looks without consideration of other people.
Although internally, he slowly falls into a spiral about the way his body is changing as well as how his thoughts and feelings are changing. In response to his emotional spiral, the overeating continues and even increases almost in a way to prove to himself that it’s okay.
Jimin
Jimin is all too knowing of his appetite capabilities, but he is truly unable to control it once he lets his restrictions drop. He is unable to get the control back in place after realizing how far he's gone, but he also a small shameful part of him is uninterested in regaining that control.
There is a level of relief Jimin feels in giving up his restrictive, unhealthy mindset that he cannot reach with any other coping mechanism. Nothing brings him quite the same comfort as undoing the long and often painful methods of maintaining his once concerningly small physique.
While the weight gain isn’t entirely healthy for him mentally either, there is no longer any physical weakness or devastating lack of energy so he will endure the other end of the spectrum mentally to avoid restricting himself.
With time, he would eventually begin to regain his confidence and accept the happiness that enjoying food freely brings him. It's clear that given how his body and mind reacted, giving up that intense control over his weight was actually better for him even if he is much bigger now than he ever imagined he would be.
Taehyung
Taehyung is an artist at heart and would find an ‘experience’ in everything, even a simple meal. He is also a social butterfly and saying yes to those experiences at new places with old friends or well-loved places with new friends brings him joy. So what if he goes out for every meal in a single day if it was with people he loves?
It isn’t so much of a lack of control in terms of eating for Taehyung, it’s that he allows his want for connection to outweigh the signals from his brain and body that he’s eaten enough. Social eating and drinking can be mindless and longer than an averagely proportioned dinner at home.
No matter the consequences, regaining his control over food is not something Taehyung is interested in when his relationships are thriving more than ever, and deep down, he knows that putting those limits on himself would be no easy feat.
Taehyung likes to tell himself that overeating and poor food choices only happen when he is out with people, but if he were honest with himself, he would acknowledge that those habits start happening at home pretty quickly.
Ordering out for almost every meal is his routine and those orders get bigger and bigger over time. He can’t even simply talk on the phone or have a friend over for a casual afternoon chat without wanting to eat.
Jungkook
Having a big appetite has been Jungkook’s normal his entire life. In his teenage years, it was as if he could never actually feel full, but it also did not look as if he was eating enough for a family of four in a single day. A hyperactive lifestyle and unbelievably high metabolism made gaining weight the farthest thing from his mind.
Jungkook was also a homebody, attached to his routine and safety net. Any disruption of those brought on debilitating episodes of anxiety until he adjusted. Major life changes like moving away for college, losing loved ones, or prolonged tension between people he was close with could completely disrupt his ‘normal’.
Jungkook had tried many things and finally found that eating was a bigger comfort than he realized. The feeling of being heavier, that warm fullness, is unexpectedly grounding so overeating becomes a coping mechanism for his anxiety.
Unfortunately, growing older means many parts of his life become more sedentary and his metabolism ages with him so while his coping mechanism helps him more than anything else mentally, it becomes quite a problem for his waistline.

Thrill of the Gain
Read here or on AO3!
Currently working on requests so I will try to get more posted soon!
—-
It really did start as an accident. The discovery for them comes the year after graduating college and moving in together. Jimin had established a small online jewelry business in college that had only gotten more successful, allowing him to work from home on his own schedule.
With the mix of making his own schedule but also the occasional stress of running a small business plus two doting partners, Jimin shouldn't have been surprised that he gained 20 pounds. Jimin was aware of the weight from the start and he was fairly certain Yoongi and Jungkook were as well.
Truthfully, Jimin thought it made him look better than ever. He was curvier, filling out his hips and ass in a way that made him feel great. However, he also watched and felt the hesitation in both his partners. Yoongi would watch him closely as he got dressed and Jungkook would intentionally avoid putting his hands on Jimin's lower half.
Jimin knew their relationship could withstand a confrontation so he did just that, asking them if they were judging him or uncomfortable with his recent weight gain. Yoongi's regret was immediately evident on his face and Jungkook looked ready to cry.
They came clean, admitted to Jimin that they'd been discussing a recent discovery and were, honestly, obsessed with Jimin's body even more now. It was only getting awkward now because they were attempting to figure out how to bring it up without being assholes pointing out Jimin's weight.
With it out in the open, they all felt this new wave of excitement. Yoongi and Jungkook encouraged him to eat more and were much more appreciative with their words and touch. Jimin let them feed him sometimes and found himself pushing the limit of his stomach if either of them were convincing enough.
Less than six months later, Jimin had gone from accidentally gaining 20 pounds to intentionally gaining enough that the scale now showed him 50 pounds more than his starting weight. As sad as it was to admit, the excitement was going down as the number was going up.
Jimin admittedly wasn't feeling great. His back was hurting quite a bit lately especially when he sat over his desk making orders. He was doing a lot of the eating on his own at home, mostly snacks that weren't actually filling him with energy the way a meal would.
While not wanting to throw in the towel on their gaining interests, Jimin decided to ask his partners for help. Neither Yoongi nor Jungkook ever wanted him to feel uncomfortable physically or mentally so they helped him lose the weight.
Over the next year, Jimin dropped enough that he was even smaller now than he was when it all started. Yoongi and Jungkook were nothing but supportive and loving, but Jimin could see the shift in all of them. Something was missing.
Jimin missed his little belly that hung over his waistband and how much he used to fill out his pants. He missed how Yoongi and Jungkook looked at him and touched him. More than anything, Jimin realized he missed the build-up.
That recognition of his own accidental gain last time was surprisingly easy and enticing for him. The way all three were aware of Jimin's changing weight without talking about it created an energy in the apartment that felt thrilling. He wanted it back.
Part of him knew he should have talked to them about it, but Jimin decided to test the waters yet again. Thinking back to what led to that initial gain before, he reset his habits.
Jimin allowed himself to snack intuitively while working and prioritized taking breaks for his meals. He ordered delivery to the house for lunch when he craved something and started drinking soda again. Going for runs and taking Pilates returned to his old routine of a morning walk and simple sunrise yoga.
The change this time around was Yoongi and Jungkook stepping in as soon as they noticed changes. Jimin could tell he was getting a little soft again, but he didn't even make it to 10 pounds before they confronted him. They didn't want him to feel pressured or hit a breaking point as he did last time.
Jimin promised it was his own choice, one made out of longing. He missed the changes to his body and the looks they used to give him. He craved both the dynamic and food he enjoyed instead of clean eating.
His only ask was for them to go slower this time around, maybe a gradual change would let his body adjust as he gained. Maybe he could grow into his little belly comfortably this time so the desire to stop and restart would come so quickly.
As they are always on the same page, Jimin shouldn’t have been surprised when Yoongi and Jungkook felt the same.
That was when Jimin realized that all three may have more specific interests than they originally thought. Doing some research on his own led Jimin to the answers he wanted. Jungkook and Yoongi were clearly into the build-up and realization of his gain, loving the discovery as much as the gain.
Jimin found that he really loved the obliviousness, as uncomfortable as it started. He liked the element of ignorance his partners believed he held, catching them looking a little too long as if they thought he was unaware of his gain.
They clearly love the discovery and development even if it is different ways. That first 20 pounds or so going unspoken yet definitely recognized and observed did so much for them. Jimin would also admit that the shift from unintentional and unknown to realization but ignored to confronted and excited was amazing.
Suddenly having his partners all over him and feeding, putting on weight for a period of time but not as fast, was another level of satisfaction for Jimin. He knew they would respect him reaching a certain point where that uncomfortable shift may begin to set in.
Maybe they would start over again, maybe Jimin would drop a little weight before starting again, maybe he would eventually stop the losing part altogether.
Jimin craved his partners’ teasing during that time and how easily they could influence him. The way Yoongi could talk him through a massive meal while Jungkook gave the best belly rubs. How much they loved knowing Jimin’s weight and rewarded his gain.
The pattern of gaining made it easy to put that initial gain back on. Jimin felt like his body was made for it. He loved the soft skin of his belly whether he dropped weight or his stomach was filled to capacity. Feeling certain clothing get tighter made him aware of his body changes in the best way.
However, Jimin could see how Yoongi and Jungkook got their satisfaction in other ways. They enjoyed the shy glances shared with each other or the silent conversations they could convey when Jimin’s gain was noticeable. They could see the shirts getting clingier and the waistbands growing tighter. They watched him start reaching for a second serving of dinner then eventually three servings and a dessert becoming his normal fill.
After the second round of this happening, Jimin realized they had created a long-term roleplay. That discovery phase did so much for all three of them that acting and planning became a normal part of it to recreate that initial feeling. Those moments of awkward touches and avoidant looks, the shy and hesitant answers that once created anxiety for Jimin now brought him a rush of satisfaction.
They pushed Jimin to gain more before they had the ‘conversation’ and established a ‘new’ dynamic, but the benefit this time around was the experience from before. Yoongi knew the best ways to feed Jimin and encourage him, Jungkook knew all the right spots to provide Jimin relief and pleasure, and Jimin’s body was more adjusted for the gain.
It was only natural that the gain was higher with more experience. Jimin hadn’t even realized he had gained farther than his intended goal when he finally weighed himself. He didn’t track or obsess over the numbers during his gaining phases, purely letting the gain take its course until he reached the feeling of his limit rather than a number. Jimin admitted to Yoongi and Jungkook that although he was surprised that the number was higher this time around, he also loved seeing it.
Jimin followed the same course as last time, losing weight with his partners’ support in a healthy way. Although, it was not nearly as much as last time.
He found in some ways it was easier but also harder. Now that the agreement was in the open, he often thought about getting to the restarting point quicker, but Jimin also wanted to ensure that he did the right thing for his body and mind.
He had placed gaining limits on each phase, communicating throughout their periods of long-term roleplay and everyone upheld those limits. However, those limits slowly began to increase while Jimin’s starting weight went up in tandem. He was actually gaining slowly but surely overall even if he didn’t see it right away.
When Jimin gained 65 pounds during the first attempt at their roleplay, he only lost 45 pounds before starting again after assuring Yoongi and Jungkook that he was perfectly happy “keeping” those twenty pounds. That he felt right with his wider, curvy hips now.
Over the next five years of them wholeheartedly enjoying this back-and-forth, even if Jimin wasn’t doing as much of the back part as often as he did in the beginning. They learned new interests along the way, tried out various tips and tricks, and overall, strengthened their relationship.
To the surprise of no one, the limit crept up and up each time. While it seemed as if he were truly gaining and losing over time rather than gaining weight permanently, Jimin certainly had developed a considerably softer and curvier “baseline” body.
Jimin’s first starting weight was a low and toned 140 that used to be his normal, but it had probably been more than a year since Jimin saw below 200 even after a “losing weight” phase.
Yoongi and Jungkook encouraged bigger goals every time, especially after seeing how incredible Jimin looked and felt when he gained at his desired pace. When they first talked about limits, Jimin had felt fairly confident that 200 was going to be a consistent limit for him, yet here he was with 200 being his new low.
They were shocked to hear Jimin up the number every time, loving the way his confidence and excitement in the gain increased as well. As they approached this next “active gaining” phase as Yoongi had started calling it, Jimin let them know he was making a big decision.
No more phases. No more limits. Jimin was just going to let things happen as they happened and if gaining more weight was a part of that, so be it.
Jimin felt like they had truly fulfilled every part of the role playing dynamic over these past few years. He was ready to stop the back and forth, to let them just love his body as it was and likely the bigger body it would become going forward.
Yoongi and Jungkook could not contain how proud they were. It was a shift in their relationship and dynamic that they were ready to make. The long lasting role play of the past five years had been amazing, but seeing Jimin grow into himself and accepting his body was even better.
And they both knew Jimin better than anyone. He kept referring to future gaining as if it were uncertain, but five years worth of habits don’t go away over night.
200 may had become Jimin’s new normal with all his gaining and losing. However, it was a normal that had drastically changed from his once toned 140. Given the fact that Jimin was now tipping the scale around 270 just one year later and Yoongi and Jungkook were watching him work on dessert number two after dinner, that normal would certainly change again.

Note
be nice if u posted about all the members there r SEVEN!! not just y/g and j/m my request is for anyone but them u know taekook is the most popular ship maybe more ppl want to read if u wrote what everyone likes
I don’t typically respond to things like this, but I need to this time. This is just completely unnecessary and untrue. This is immature and rude, especially directed at someone who writes and shares for free. It’s also Festa month and the members including Tae and JK would be incredibly disappointed in someone bringing down another Army any time, but especially this month.
I have posted 45 works on AO3. Of those works, 12 of them are OT7 while only 6 are Yoonmin. Maybe actually speak factually if you are going to hate on someone’s work and preferences. I am not quiet about the fact that Jimin is my ultimate bias so yes, it’s common to see him more on my account. However, all of the members have been featured in 20 or more of my works in various ships. I treat the members equally because I love them all.
You aren’t going to make me feel bad or change how I write so stop wasting both our time by filling my inbox with nonsense. And to address the fact that you tried to phrase this as a request, maybe consider how talking to me this way is not really encouraging me to write and post in any way.

Room For One More?
Read here or on AO3!
Yoongi, Hobi, and Jimin met in college and ended up being roommates after becoming quick close friends. They met through mutual friends and just clicked immediately, agreeing to find an apartment and move in together as soon as they could.
After graduating, they all had work or grad programs lined up in the same area of the city so they continued living together which helped them finally work out their feelings. They ended up in an established relationship within weeks of moving into the new post-college place and couldn’t be happier.
Jimin had noticed that Yoongi and Hobi had something going on with food even before they were dating, but he also assumed that Yoongi’s casual but progressive gain over the past five years was just that college and relationship gain.
Yoongi had sized up many times throughout their time in college. Jimin assumed the initial gain came from a good dining hall and drinking with friends when he first noticed Yoongi’s cute little beer belly.
It had continued as college went on, again as assumed college gain. It was as if Yoongi had collected his freshman fifteen every year.
His little beer belly became a soft, chubby midsection that Jimin enjoyed cuddling up on any chance he got with how comfortable and warm Yoongi became.
Jimin never felt like he could bring it up because what an embarrassing thing to be wrong about. He can’t imagine the thought of accusing them of this arrangement and potentially body-shaming his partner.
That was until Jimin heard them discussing it in bed one night while they clearly thought he was asleep. It confirmed his suspicions that the gain had been mostly intentional and Hobi encouraged that gain for Yoongi.
The idea of gaining and hearing how the other two talked about their dynamic immediately interested Jimin, like it opened his eyes to the kink instantly. He had spent so long trying to ignore the assumption that Jimin hadn’t even considered his own feelings toward it.
Jimin understood why they hid it and he was not mad about it, but he also wanted to surprise them while exploring it himself and in a way, get back at them for hiding it for so long.
Making a plan was easy because Jimin knew that if food seemed to be missing, Hobi would assume it was Yoongi eating it. He would eat his normal meal-prepped lunches for school and then also go get snacks, pastries, or even another meal at the campus dining hall.
His morning run became a morning walk, sometimes with a stop at the coffee shop or bakery near their apartment. Jimin accepted more invites to drinks with friends or classmates where he ordered a few beers and an appetizer instead of one cocktail like he used to.
Snacks and candy were always fully stocked in his bag when Jimin went to study at the library, but he tried to invite Taehyung and Jungkook to coffee shops more often now. He added extra calories to his smoothies and did low-intensity or lifting workouts when he went to the gym with Jungkook instead of his typical cardio circuits.
Sometimes, Jimin even dropped the workout altogether for a bike ride with Namjoon or a little dinner out with Jin. He made very intentional and effective choices to incorporate more calories in a healthy way wherever he could.
And it was a success. Jimin started gaining on his own but wearing baggier clothes which was easy since he often stole Yoongi’s sweaters and hoodies.
Jimin knew his partners were starting to notice a little bit when they got intimate, but neither Yoongi nor Hobi said anything. It didn’t get awkward either since it was nothing more than a little softness, less than twenty pounds after three or four months.
It was clear to Jimin that most of the weight went to his bottom half. His thighs and hips were filling out all his pants more noticeably, but his stomach had certainly gone from flat and toned to a soft layer of pudge.
Easily written off as normal relationship gain plus the stress of a grad program. Jimin didn’t think anyone around him had truly thought of it as anything to comment on.
After confirming for himself that he was definitely enjoying the process and his body, Jimin felt ready to have them acknowledge his gain and encourage him. He wanted to be in on the dynamic, but he also wanted a good reveal.
Jimin had a trip scheduled with Taehyung and Jungkook, also knowing that when he got back,  Yoongi had a trip for work and Hobi also had a trip with friends scheduled. Since he was not going to see them for over a month besides video calls, Jimin decided to eat very well on his trip and when he had their place to himself after he got back.
When Yoongi and Hobi both got back home on the same day from their respective trips, they arrived to find something they never expected and never will forget.
Jimin had on one of his old crop tops from college that was now skin tight, hemline clinging to him above his belly button, and a pair of sweatpants snug on his thighs, waistband tied and tucked below his new little belly that was more round and pronounced considering he had been eating all day.
Yoongi and Hobi were speechless. They couldn’t hide their evident interest in Jimin’s new gain, clearly losing their minds internally while trying to figure out what to say. Jimin loved it.
He loved the way they were both looking at him like they were about to lose their minds. Jimin had never felt more confident in front of his partners before which said a lot considering how generous Yoongi and Hobi were with their love.
Jimin decided to come clean first, making it easier for Yoongi and Hobi who obviously were trying to figure out what to do. He told them about how he found out, how it immediately interested him, and how he planned for this.
It seemed to instantly settle Yoongi and Hobi that Jimin’s choices came from a place of personal interest and not from their expectations.
Yoongi said they shouldn’t be surprised considering how obvious they could be at times and how he’s clearly put on weight over the past couple of years.
Hobi shared how excited he was to incorporate Jimin into their dynamic, especially when he’s clearly a natural at it. The teasing already having the effect Jimin was hoping for as he felt his cheeks getting warm from the praise.
Both also apologized for not telling Jimin sooner, considering that they had a platonic dynamic before transitioning into their romantic relationship.
Jimin forgave them, knowing it was personal, but he also decided to tease them back.
“It’s alright, I understand. But just think about how much more I would’ve gained by now if you told me,” Jimin said, sending a little wink their way as he took another bite of hotteok he had been eating.
Hobi finally decided to cross the room, pulling Jimin into a kiss that tasted like the sugary sweetness of his dessert. His hands moved freely to all the places he had been resisting lately when he first noticed Jimin’s slight gain.
Yoongi sidled up beside them, stealing a kiss of his before also stealing a bite of the hotteok. His hand slipped around Jimin’s waist and noted the tightness of his full stomach - a sensation Yoongi didn’t realize he was attracted to on another person when it’s usually his own belly feeling that way.
As Hobi was dropping little whispers of praise while encouraging Jimin to take a bite of another hotteok, Yoongi tentatively massaged his hands across Jimin’s middle until he pinched the new layer of pudge below his belly button.
Yoongi and Hobi knew they were in for a treat with the soft gasp that left Jimin’s lips from Yoongi’s touch. With his recently discovered enthusiasm and gaining journey now out in the open, it already was making their dynamic feel refreshed and stronger.

LOVE THIS. Hot but wholesome is my favorite
A Helping Hand (Seokjin)
Fat feeder Seokjin publishes a feedism cookbook.
They're all his own recipes. "Lovingly made and self-tested!" He pats his belly proudly. "Every recipe is delicious and specially designed to fatten." Seokjin beams. "Whether it's for you or a loved one, you'll swell with success!!"
Over the years of gaining himself and helping countless feedees, Jin has carefully crafted all of his recipes, modifying them specifically for gaining. He imparts his years of knowledge and experience for eager gainers, for singles and couples alike.
His feedees have always seen instant results, and now he wants to share his feeding methods. Jin has always been enamored with how each person gains fat differently, and he's become skilled through the years of altering his cooking depending on what type of chub his feedee (or himself) wants to encourage.
Jin's cook book is curated with the most successful recipes for different kinds of growth. He has the book broken up into recipes organized by what type of fat the reader wants to gain. Instead of "breakfast, mains, sides, desserts", his book is organized by the results the reader wants, with chapter headings like: "Soft Squish; Face and Double chin; Belly; Firm Fat; Love Handles; Arms and Chest; Bottom Heavy; Curves and Rolls; and 'Great for Beginners!'"
It's incredibly obvious how much his book is a labor of love, backed with impressive experience. Jin has tons of notes written in the pages explaining how each recipe settles into different types of fat depending on the ingredients, and lists of what to eat and when if someone wants a whole-body balanced gain rather than focusing on growing one area.
Jin writes in his book things like, "this dessert is great for a plump, jiggly lower belly." And on another "this burger will help thicken up anyone who is lusting after firm fat. Pairs excellent with fizzy beer. Great for gas!"
Aside from the indulgent recipes and nuggets of knowledge, the photos in the book are to die for. Jin spent months perfecting them so each page makes the reader's mouth water and motivates them to try cooking it themselves. Everything looks so decadent and delicious. Even Jin thinks that his book is irresistible.
The portions are strategically just the right size to leave a feedee comfortably full. Jin doesn't want them hurting. His recipes work because of how calorie-heavy they are. Everything is carefully sized to slowly grow a feedee's stomach and appetite. To make their belly push out warm and rich after their meal so they're satisfied and full of the most fattening cooking they've ever had, but not so heavy as to be in pain.
People can get results that they want by following different recipes. Creamy desserts for rich belly fat and curves. Hearty, greasy savory food for thick guts and fat hips. Pastries and pies for bottom heavy babies. Salty snacks for helping out a doubled chin. And whole feast to share on holidays when feedees get together.
Jin usually accompanies each recipe with instructions for after eating too. They never stop at "enjoy!" They are filled with tips and tricks that Jin has found most effective in his years of feeding.
"You'll want to lay down and nap after this one, so best to have it at night. Did you know that you get fatter if you fall asleep on a full tummy!"
"Eat this one slowly. It's tempting to chow down, but it's incredibly rich. This should be halved (and shared 😏)."
"These sugary pancakes are designed to stuff you with calories but then leave you hungry in just an hour. Pair with a hearty, greasy burger so your tummy doesn't get rumbly."
"Eat this one as quickly as possible so you can fit seconds in before it expands in your stomach. Have a friend on hand for belly rubs. You'll need it for this one."
Jin includes 'weekly meal plan' examples with specifically designed diets for small gainers, ones for big gainers, and one for the incredibly motivated piggies. He's perfected each one. Jin balances out the recipes so they don't feel ill, but steadily fill out and fatten up.
Jin doesn't just stop at print copies. He's launching the first ever cook book specifically designed to help people thicken up rather than lose weight, and he spares no expense. He wants his book to be encouraging and become a safe space for anyone trying to gain. He even designs a website linked in his cookbook where people can post their experience. He creates an online community where people can say which recipes they love and how effective they are. They update their progress and can even send in questions to Jin, who always replies with encouragement and teasing. He develops a whole collection of piglets who happily post when they're fattening up and how much they love Jin's cooking.
Every morning, Jin sits down with a cup of coffee and reads through the new posts on his website. He beams at how he's helping so many people get comfortable and fat. Jin comments on as many posts as he can, praising them and leaving tips for how to best plump up. There's so much demand for new recipes as Jin's piggies graze through his cook book and steadily fatten, that Jin starts a streamed cooking show where each month, one of his lucky fans is invited to join him.
Jin always introduces the guest feedee like they're his personal feedee. Beforehand he learns about them (they have to fill out a long quiz he made so he can get to know them, and they can all consent to the stream), and then he can host his cooking show like this excited little chubby is his own personal favorite pet that he gets to spoil and pamper for a whole evening.
He whips up a brand-new personalized recipe each month and explains how this meal will help the feedee get the results they're craving. His audience comes to the cooking show for the new recipes of course, but they stay the entire stream to watch the lucky feedee get stuffed with their own, specially-designed fattening meal by Jin.
After dessert, Jin always makes sure that his feedee is treated like royalty. He rubs their belly while they're full and sated on the couch, and tells the audience how many calories are in the feedee's belly right now. How many pounds they can expect to gain in the next few days. He does some math while patting their plump gut and making sure that his cooking is settling in comfortably.
Jin spoils his viewers so well. They keep coming back to the streams in hope that they'll be the lucky one randomly picked for the next month's cooking and stuffing episode. While the food is the main event, everyone drools as their favorite round feeder grows bigger with each season.

Well, That Was Unexpected
Read here or on AO3!
Hoseok knew certain interests he had would likely be kept nice and safe inside his head. He would watch and read things here and there, but he had no intention of ever pursuing an arrangement with a partner…until Yoongi.
He loved Yoongi and would have gladly spent his life with him without ever mentioning it. Hoseok didn’t even give it up at first when Yoongi asked, but he trusted his partner and now, he would never regret where his admission ended up.
Never would Hoseok ever dream of Yoongi indulging him, but if Yoongi brought it up now, Hoseok would simply say it was his own fault because honestly, he did bring it on himself. The conversation still replays in Hoseok’s head from time to time.
"Hyung, I can't tell you. It's just too embarrassing."
"Hoba, I promise you nothing you say can scare me. You can trust hyung."
"It's weird."
"So? Just try me. Obviously, you are not into blood and torture. We both know your stomach would never handle that.”
“Ugh, Yoongi, that’s disgusting.”
“See, exactly my point. It’s not something out there like clowns, right? Oh god, please tell me you aren’t into clowns.”
“What!? No! Hyung, what the hell?”
“I was just asking! Can’t be that weird if it’s not clowns. Is it feet? Pain? Temperature?”
“Would you stop guessing? Jesus, hyung, why do you - never mind, just let me explain.”
“Sorry, go ahead, jagi.”
Hoseok had taken a deep breath as he fiddled with his hands. Yoongi had never seen his usually confident boyfriend so nervous and all he could think was “God, maybe it is something weird”.
Hoseok quickly mumbled something and looked away blushing. He was desperately trying to find a reason to end this conversation as he looked around the room.
"What? You're gonna have to speak up, Hoba. I can’t hear you."
"I like bigger guys!" Hoseok exclaimed quickly making Yoongi recoil in surprise.
It took a couple of seconds to process Hoseok's confession before Yoongi let out a small chuckle.
"Oh jagi, come on, that's not even bad," Yoongi replied as he rolled his eyes. "So you're a chubby chaser, you’d be surprised how normal that is. I thought you were gonna say something actually crazy."
Hoseok visibly cringed, and suddenly Yoongi got the distinct feeling he was missing something. He didn’t mean to offend or misunderstand Hoseok, but he was struggling to see the source of his partner’s concern.
"That’s not…” Hoseok started before pausing to think and eventually continuing, "Okay, well, yes that's a part of it, but it's a bit more involved than that."
“What? Like you want to tie me up and feed me?” Yoongi asked, a bit teasingly. He even threw a smirk that started to drop when he saw his partner’s reaction.
Hoseok’s face flushed bright red and let out a small whimper of embarrassment. “Well…”
“Oh shit, you want to tie me up and feed me. Like a witch from a fairytale?" Yoongi blurted out.
"No! Hyung, what the hell, you promised you wouldn't make fun of me!" Hoseok cried out as he covered his face in embarrassment.
Yoongi winced and reached out to pull Hoseok’s hands away from his face. “I’m sorry, Hoseok-ah; that was rude. I promise I’m not making fun of you. I just want to understand.”
Hoseok nodded, still bright red in the face, but Yoongi’s genuine words and gentle hold of his hands were certainly helping.
“So it’s like a food kink?” Yoongi asked, still wanting to understand but not judge.
Hoseok paused for a moment, considering the best way to explain. “No, it’s a lot more than that. Honestly, it sounds weird, but what the food is doesn’t really matter to me. It’s more about the body and the gain - you know, the intimacy. It’s not just someone being bigger; it’s also the process of getting there.”
“Oh, that actually makes sense,” Yoongi replied slowly before adding, “So, tell me how it would work.”
“Wait, really?” Hoseok responded instinctively, shocked at the easy acceptance. “You mean…how it would work with us?”
Yoongi smiled at him and stood from the couch to lead them to their bedroom. “Come on, jagi, tell hyung all about how you want me to get fat.”
Hoseok whined again, face growing warm once again as Yoongi’s laugh echoed off the walls of their hallway. “I knew this was a bad idea.”
But Hoseok’s words couldn’t have been more wrong. It was actually the best idea as they had spent the rest of the night walking through all of his interests and deepest desires. Most of that had now happened in memorable and satisfying ways.
After explaining the inner workings of his kink, Hoseok was prepared for Yoongi to say he supported it, but he couldn’t give up his body. Maybe a little roleplay or even watching porn together at most.
Yet, another surprise came when Yoongi absolutely accepted it.
It, of course, started slow. Yoongi wanted to research to understand and “properly participate”. Hoseok demanded the clearest of boundaries, not wanting to risk overstepping something so important as Yoongi’s bodily autonomy and comfort.
But once they got started, it went incredibly well. So well that Yoongi’s gain would become a surprise.
It was like Yoongi’s body was made to gain. Hoseok saw results even with the smallest changes.
Extra snacks throughout the day began expanding Yoongi’s appetite. Putting more on his plates at meals became second nature. Regular soda and milkshakes became staples in Yoongi’s daily beverage rotation.
They broke through Yoongi’s metabolism like a wrecking ball.
Yoongi had never expected their relationship to grow closer than it already was, but this unlocked a new connection between them. He felt praised and pampered in a way he didn’t even know he craved until he had it.
And on top of the pure love and attraction he felt from his partner, the intimacy was truly unmatched. Hoseok liked to be in charge most of the time and he brought shock and even shame out of Yoongi with his intensity. He never knew being overly full, teased, and manhandled did it for him, but it was a type of satisfaction he couldn’t describe.
Although, Yoongi could bring Hoseok to his knees with control of his own. Even the suggestion of a tub of ice cream and a tight shirt had his partner worked up and ready to drop everything with his full focus on feeding Yoongi until he felt ready to burst.
More than anything, Yoongi quickly learned that Hoseok had an affinity for the numbers. It wasn’t a fixation and they decided early on that goals would stress them both out too much to be enjoyable, but on rare occasions, Hoseok just had to ask about his weight.
Yoongi admittedly didn’t even think about it. He was just heavy once he hit a certain threshold in his mind. To him, he was big, he knew it, and that was enough for him so the scale grew dust in its corner of the bathroom closet.
That was until Hoseok asked him for an update.
After watching Yoongi swap pants for the third time that morning, Hoseok realized that his partner had broken through the gaining plateau he seemed to hit a few months ago.
It had been a while since Hoseok was able to visibly distinguish where Yoongi’s gain had gone considering his body’s tendency to settle weight evenly, but the last pair of pants requiring a little wiggly dance to shimmy them down Yoongi’s thighs caused his shirt to ride up, revealing a new pair of matching stretchmarks above his hips.
Hoseok would not have described Yoongi as bottom-heavy or pear-shaped usually, but the recent gain around his hips and ass was making him look rather grabbable in Hoseok’s eyes.
However, there was a bigger question burning in Hoseok’s mind before he could firmly grasp his partner’s plush love handles.
“Hey Yoon, when’s the last time you weighed yourself?”
Hoseok watched in anticipation as Yoongi looked down at his half-clothed body, still without a well-fitting pair of pants. He seemed to think it over before he shrugged.
“I guess, it’s been a while. I kind of stopped bothering with it after I hit 300. Just kind of…I don’t know, I feel big so that’s enough for me.”
Yoongi had to suppress his smirk as he immediately knew where this conversation was going. He felt smug knowing that Hoseok could barely resist the full-body shiver that Yoongi’s ‘I feel big’ had just elicited.
“Just out of curiosity, how much do you think you’ve gained since then?” Hoseok asked, still trying to mask his desperation to know even if he was well aware that his partner saw right through him.
“Oh, I don’t know, maybe 25, eh, could be 30 pounds. It’s been at least six months since I hit 300, and we celebrated both our birthdays so….” Yoongi trailed off, still biting back his smirk as Hoseok’s eyes narrowed in thought.
Hoseok knew 25 pounds was an absolute lie. He needed Yoongi to step on the scale immediately because Hoseok could visibly locate more than that on his partner’s body at that moment. He also was just a tad bit nervous because at one point, 300 was Yoongi’s hard limit and that is certainly well behind them now.
With a brief pause, Hoseok opened his mouth to respond before looking at Yoongi and ended up having a silent conversation. He knew Yoongi wouldn’t outright refuse, but there was usually more of a fight which meant Yoongi was interested to know too.
Grabbing the scale from the bathroom closet and setting it on the floor in front of Yoongi gave Hoseok a rush of anticipation that never got old. He loved the suspense before the bright red number inevitably wrecked his composure.
Yoongi couldn’t help but laugh as Hoseok offered his hand to Yoongi like he were a young royal about to descend a staircase. He gently smacked his hand away, breaking the tension that filled their bathroom and bringing a laugh from them both.
It was quickly brought back to the anticipated result as Yoongi stood on the scale watching for Hoseok's reaction - the days of reading the number himself were long gone.
"What's the verdict, Hoba? I'm right, aren't I? Can’t be more than 330, surely,” Yoongi rattled off smugly. He thought his offer of 330 was even too high, certainly nothing higher than 325, but he didn't want to be too right about it. He knew Hoseok was just working him up.
Hoseok's smirk dropped the second the scale beeped with the final number. His eyes scrunching in confusion as he asked Yoongi to step off and get back on.
"What? Can't believe I'm not fatter," Yoongi chuckled before adding, "I told you that my gaining had plateaued.”
The scale beeped again, but Hoseok's eyes widened even more than the first time, his jaw dropping a bit as he stared at the scale on the floor.
"Hyung...I-”
“Would you stop being so dramatic?”
“Yoongi, I can't read it."
"What do you mean you can't read it? I know its upside down to you, but it's not like you haven't done this a million times and-”
"No hyung, you don’t understand. I can’t read it because there is nothing to read. It just says max error.”
Yoongi scoffed and tried to keep his cool. He knew Hoseok well enough that this could be some elaborate rouse to get Yoongi worked up.
"It’s probably just low on battery," he grumbled while rolling his eyes. "Here you get on. I bet it'll say the same thing."
Hoseok looked at him with a raised brow, shocked that Yoongi was so completely in denial about this. His partner had to know why he couldn’t find a pair of pants that fit him.
Without hesitation, Hoseok stepped on the scale. They both watched as the red lines danced around the screen until his correct weight of 157 lit up.
“Get off, let me try again,” Yoongi huffed, again trying to keep calm. He wouldn’t exactly be upset about a higher number than he expected, but it definitely would be a shock. He always said he felt big…not quite this big though.
There was less patience this time as they waited for the result. Yoongi had to resist the desire to tap his foot in wait.
"Holy shit," Hoseok whispered. "You maxed out the scale."
Yoongi stepped back enough to look down at the screen himself, staring at the words ‘MAX ERROR’ displayed until it blinked and went black. He then turned his stare of shock toward Hoseok who bent down to pick up the scale.
Hoseok turned it over and started reading through the fine print of the label. His fingers traced the words searching for his answer before making a small, whimper-like sound in the back of his throat.
"Hyung, this maxes out at 350,” Hoseok said quietly, finally looking up at his partner to see wide eyes looking right back at him. “You weigh over 350 pounds, Yoongi.”
The direct confirmation broke Yoongi from his stupor as he started to run through his excuses, a way to reason how this could have happened. “But I - well, I just ate breakfast, and…and I had a big dinner last night. I’m seriously so full and-“
“Babe.”
“And I have some clothes on. This is a heavy sweatshirt and I have a shirt on underneath-“
“Hyung.”
“I mean, look at me, I’m obviously bloated right now. I’m probably retaining water too and-“
“Yoongi!”
They both stopped and stared at each other, Hoseok clearly waiting for Yoongi to respond honestly.
“I can’t believe I maxed out the scale…” Yoongi whispered as he nudged the scale with his foot, still seeming to process the realization.
Hoseok felt sweat start to prickle at the back of his neck. He was getting anxious that this was the sudden and difficult end of Yoongi’s gain. “Tell me what you are thinking.”
“Honestly…I’m thinking that maxing out a scale shouldn’t turn me on this much.” Yoongi's face flushed at his own admission, looking up to gauge his boyfriend's reaction.
Hoseok's eyes were slightly glazed over, a blush getting darker by the second. This was wildly unexpected, but the most incredible outcome Hoseok could have gotten.
"It's turning me on too," he finally admitted breathlessly.
Yoongi bit his lip as a shiver of pleasure ran down his spine. He wasn’t surprised to hear Hoseok’s reply, however, the confirmation sent a deep feeling of satisfaction through him.
"But it's okay if you want to stop," Hoseok quickly added. "You get to control this. Your body, your rules."
"But what if I don't," Yoongi whispered - gaze once again going to the floor. "What if I want to keep going?"
Hoseok's blush got several shades darker and reached the tips of his ears. "T-Then we keep going," he stuttered out breathlessly. “We absolutely keep going, hyung. As long as you want.”
Yoongi's hands moved to his middle, kneading the impossibly soft flesh as if it were proofed dough. When his eyes left the floor to find his partner’s, it encouraged him to continue.
"Well, that’s good, jagi because I suddenly feel very, very hungry. Must be some of that fancy breakfast spread left, right?”
Hoseok was completely red all the way down his neck at this point, but he also could barely contain himself. His hands joined the soft caress of Yoongi’s belly before he quickly worked out a plan. Yoongi became more than a willing participant since their arrangement began, but this was a new level of intensity for them.
“Why don’t you go get comfortable on the couch while I reheat our leftovers?” Hoseok asked, his voice taking on a darker, firmer tone that he knew made Yoongi weak in the knees.
Yoongi nodded breathlessly, ready to agree to anything as his eyes were fixed on their hands on his rotund middle. Hoseok lifted Yoongi’s soft chin with two fingers so they could make eye contact before he continued.
“Then, once you are all nice and comfy, I want you to order a box of your favorites from the bakery down the street. Okay?”
Hoseok smirked at the small gasp that left Yoongi’s lips. He normally ordered from the bakery for special occasions, but in Hoseok’s mind, this certainly felt like a special moment. Before Yoongi could do more than gasp and nod, Hoseok continued on again.
“And after you order your box of treats for delivery, you are going to buy yourself a new scale that can actually hold all of this,” Hoseok said as he hefted up his boyfriend’s malleable belly before letting it drop back down - both struggling to hold back a moan from the gentle smack of Yoongi’s belly falling.
Yoongi’s chest was heaving now, ignoring the latent ripple that coursed through his belly and the sweat starting to build on his brow. All he could do was again nod in response. Hoseok had never felt more in control than he had right then.
“And while you are picking out your new scale that can handle all of this, I’m going to feed you all the breakfast leftovers until our delivery arrives and you can work on your box of fancy pastries all day long. Sound good?”
Yoongi felt like he hadn’t stopped nodding and letting out little whimpers, but he couldn’t do more than that, feeling overwhelmed by his boyfriend’s words and touch alone.
“Words, baby, you know the rules,” Hoseok instructed with a smirk. He could see Yoongi’s eyes getting a bit cloudy, entering a headspace that meant he would likely be increasing his stomach capacity by the end of the night.
“Y-Yes. Please,” Yoongi eventually stuttered out, the only words he could find in his mix of anticipation and arousal. He wasn’t even really full yet and here he was, already falling apart.
“Good boy,” Hoseok responded, dropping a kiss on his forehead and a gentle pat on his belly as if Yoongi wasn’t an absolute mess. “Well, go on then. And maybe pick something comfortable to wear, babe. Something with a bit of room to grow, if you even have anything left in the closet.”
Yoongi let a louder whine fall from his lips as he ambled out of their bathroom without a second thought, knowing Hoseok’s eyes weren’t leaving him. As he riffled through his drawers for his bigger shirts, Yoongi tried to catch his breath and focus on making more room in his stomach because it was certainly going to be a long and filling day.
The type of day that would be a good start to breaking another scale.
