'Ridiculous!' She thought. You both were already on your way to fight those nasty demons. But the thing was, you suddenly quieted down. That sent the butterfly clip girl into a deep sadness. Oh no, oh no. Did she actually enjoy this rowdy manner of yours?

Well, the degradation that spewed out of your mouth were in a way smart. Not that she'd admit it, of course.

A demon appeared before you as you took a stance to kill it with your katana. Your nichirin blade shun in the moonlight alarming the demon that your partner and you were armed.

"Ah, demon slayers here to kill me! What a pleasure that I'm recognized." It grinned, showing it's bloody teeth. It devoured a human, huh?

"You won't even last long to revel in those feelings, stinky jerk!" You yelled and charged in aggressively using your breathing style. Shinobu decided to help you. The demon didn't last long.

The fight was over quickly but Shinobu's heart didn't slow down. She wondered if you could hear it. "ANY OTHER DEMONS IN THERE?" Your loudness was back but this time the other girl let it slide. Maybe your voice can out-sound the one of her pacing heart.

But hey, she soon discovered that there are good things about you too! Like being protective over Nezuko/Kanao because she's cute :))

But overall, she seems to have fallen for you as much as you have for her. Now get the guts and confess.

Midoriya x Gn!Reader - Stars

[!fluff!] Reader and Midoriya go stargazing (kinda). Reader is flirty.

From your childhood, you've always adored the concept of stargazing. It was lovely. Those shining stars contrasting the dark night sky.

It was different this time. You weren't alone there. You were with Izuku, your cheery friend. Sitting on the delicate grass while hugging your knees to your chest and Izuku was sitting with his legs crossed, forgetting about the sky as you watched the green haired boy with an amused stare.

Your face heated up as you faintly blushed, wanting to make a remark. "Hey, Izu-chan." You mumbled and as if on cue, he whipped his neck towards your direction. For a second, you were concerned if he broke another bone. He was nervous and on edge tonight, you figured it out.

"Yes, Y/N?" He asked, thankfully not stuttering. "You shine brighter than the stars." You spoke truthfully and the said boy got flustered, averting his gaze from you. You loved it, though. His cute blushy face made his freckles stand out. That was compartively a better sight than the stars.

It made your friend more anxious because: one, you were being genuine and two, he wasn't used to compliments.

"It's true." You shrugged, "Besides, your eyes sparkle more. There's no need to admire the abyss because you're more breathtaking." You completed your sentence.

Both of you were blushing but Izuku's face was as red as a poppy. Silence surrounded you both. Your (e/c) eyes flicked from his face to the calming celestial sight then back to his viridian green eyes. It had captured all your focus.

"It should be illegal to be this cute." You muttered with a small but noticeable pout. Izuku froze and his heartbeat quickened, hoping you couldn't hear it. And luckily, you didn't. "Oh, look! A shooting star, Y/N!" He diverted your attention by being a little too loud.

He was right. The luminous bodies criss crossed the sky. Does wishing to a falling star really make your desires come true? Even if you were playfully flirting before with Izuku, you deeply loved him. But he was deeply dense too.

Maybe, you'd actually find the courage to spill out your true feelings to him someday. You stiffened momentarily, if not now, then when?

"Izu-chan, I wished for something." You softly spoke, making the boy startled. This time, it was your heartbeat that sped up to an unholy number as you looked intently at him. He stared back with the same intensity making your breath hitch. "W-What was i-it?" He stuttered, then cursing at himself mentally.

"You." You honestly said. A heavy blush falling onto both your faces. With a deep breath you continued, "I fell in love with you. You never hid your personality or ever faked it. You were you from the very beginning. I love you, Izu-chan." You grew shy at the end of your rant.

Izuku made a bold move and leaned in for a kiss. 'Was this really happening?' You enthusiastically kissed him back. He tasted like a cinnamon roll, best suiting his qualities. You loved it and him. Heaven's sake, you wished you could stay like this forever.

Both of you pulled apart for air, faces flushed and his eyes shun, reflecting a shooting star. Your wish had come true. It was truly euphoric.

"I love you too." He confessed. You were right, you didn't need to stargaze anymore, he was enough to calm you down even though it wasn't working for now, perhaps in the future.

"Be mine?" You asked but it sounded more as a plead. After an awkward pause, he nodded while mumbling an inaudible 'yes' but you heard it because of the deafening quietness that had engulfed you both. You grinned at your boyfriend, adoring him. He smiled back at you.

The stars couldn't compare to Izu-chan. And you'd repeat it all over again, if you have to.

Quiet - Kaminari Denki x Gn!Reader

[!Angst!] - Kaminari Denki and reader are friends but reader is getting tired of their feelings for the oblivious boy, who is in love with someone else.

[ps: it was my first time doing a small fanfic like this. I’m sorry if it’s cringey or lacking details T^T]

You weren’t really vocal about your opinions and usually kept those dull thoughts to yourself.

But then came Kaminari Denki in your life. He was everything you would’ve wanted in a friend: cheerful, funny, crazy and a little perverted for your inside jokes. It started becoming more than everything.

The first time you doubted your real feelings for him was when you two were in a library. Denki was trying his level-best to understand certain topics for his upcoming test. He wasn’t the best at science but you were and decided to help him out.

As he was intently staring at the book, you spared a glance at him. That made your heart skip a beat because of how dedicated he can be. Plus, you always found him sort of cute, but it was in a friendly way or so you thought.

You had confirmed your feelings for him when you two hung out in a maid cafe. Denki had started flirting with a maid and that kind of irked you. Later, when you thought about the incident with a clear head, you were jealous.

Finding out that you love your, now, best friend wasn’t fun. It could create a barrier between you two if you ever confessed, but what if he liked you back? What if he didn’t? The pessimistic view left you hanging with your feelings for the blond boy.

What else could you ask for? A relationship with someone so perfect for you? It was always the overthinking that kept you from blurting out your confession. How would Denki react? What if he hates you? What if he avoids you? You’d lose a friend and confidence.

Maybe this was better, staying friends and doing dumb things with him. But your mind couldn’t help but wonder how he would be as a boyfriend. Caring? Sweet? Cheeky?

“Y/N? Y/N!” You snapped out of your trance to meet a worrysome face of your best friend. Right, you were zoning out again. Denki and you were in a normal cafe. Nothing fancy.

“Your face is a bit red, are you alright?” Denki questioned, still not getting the obvious hint of your blush.

“Fine, it’s just kinda cold and the coffee is warm. That must’ve affected me.” You lied vaguely. Denki flashed you a pretty smile and you averted your eyes.

“Why’d you call me here, electric boy?” You asked, taking another sip from the coffee’s cup.

“You know, I-I think I found someone I really like!” He quickly said in a low tone with flushed cheeks. Your heart sunk at his words, trying not to frown and just be happy for him once.

“And who’s that? Hmm?” You drawled out teasingly but it hurt. It stung so much. His cheeks flared up and you guessed he must’ve accidentally short-circuited himself. You sighed.

“You won’t tell anyone right?” He whisper-asked, already knowing the answer.

“I don’t have anyone else to reveal your darkest secret to. So, no.” You shrugged as your palms grew sweaty, heart racing wildly but still appeared as collected. There could be a chance he could like you, right? As if.

“It’s my classmate.” He answered shyly. All of your hopes crumbled so fast along with your heart. You knew that Denki never lied. Never. And you were in General Studies because you didn’t have a flashy and useful quirk.

“..That’s great.” You finally spoke, wanting to know this mystery person. The only concern in your mind was to get out of this cafe as soon as possible and isolate yourself.

Denki didn’t question your behavior because that’s just who you were. A little cold, keeping most of the things to yourself. Yet you managed to smile a little, for him. Fuck, it hurts so bad.

Because the least you could do was to be happy for him, even if you had to give up on him. Even if you wouldn’t be the one he would talk ever so fondly about.

“You must be wondering who it is. It’s Jirou.”

Jirou - the girl who you could never beat to win Denki’s love. After all, opposites attract and you happened to be just in the middle.

“I’ve heard of her. She’s pretty amazing. You two would look good together.” The words that fell out of your mouth were like poison for you and only you.

“You think so?” He asked, surprised. You chuckled but it was sounded so fake. Did he even notice it?

“I know so, Denki. She might like you back, y’know? I say go for it before someone wins her.” You replied still faintly smiling. Denki didn’t know that you were also talking about yourself. You were too late.

It was bitter, both the coffee and the smile. But it was all worth it in the end, to see the grateful grin on his face and the tiredness fading away.

“She better accept your confession or she’ll be missing out on a lot.” You spoke, concluding this conversation and rising up from your seat. Because it was finished, your coffee and your little fantasy of being with him.

Jirou was definitely Denki’s type and who didn’t like her? She was really talented. ‘Extremely talented, unlike me.’ You repeated it over and over again to try to soothe the ache in your heart.

“Thank you for today, Denki.” You bid your farewell and exited the cafe with a heavy heart. You wanted to cry and scream for it being this unfair. But that’s life, isn’t it? You move on, find someone better and settle.

For the time being, you’ll have to distance yourself from your best friend because you’re not the influence he’d want to have. Or maybe she can catch you staring at her soon-to-be-boyfriend.

Who are you even kidding? Even if you move on, Denki would still be in your mind. In a friendly way, of course but not that you’d tell him.

You’ll be quiet about it all.
