Sorry for being so MIA this month, all is good just very busy 😅 Hopefully the upcoming months I’ll have more energy to draw One Piece. In the meantime, have an Usopp with a bunch of flowers from the garden.

he had to find the right soil so that his popping greens would grow faster than they were currently. right now at the rate they were going, he'd be lucky to get some harvested by the middle of the year. he was going over what would be the best to get, having two different potting soil bags in front of him when he felt the pressure of sanji leaning into his back.

his smell gave him away, usopp could always tell that sanji was near thanks to his scent, so for once there wasn't any jumping from the sniper as he patted one of the bags in front of him, the other patting the chef's arm.

"trying to decide which soil to get," he started, turning his head slightly to see if he could get a better look at the other. "what brings you here? i thought you were at the harbor getting fish."

Sanji can't make a spice wheel, wood carving or any of the like isn't his forte but he wanted to do something to show just how important Usopp was to him and just how much he cared for his sniper. The idea only came to him as he watched Usopp dig around in his garden one day. Only something of a concept solidifying as he took to the library, politely asking Robin about it. After dinner, after the celebrations, Sanji carefully sets a rather unassuming box on the table before Usopp with a warning for him not to shake it to guess. Gift open reveals four different shaped watering globes sitting carefully on soft paper; one a mushroom, one a snail, one a kabuto beetle and the last modeled after someone rather special, a bee but more specifically Bumby. "Happy birthday, long nose."

the day felt neverending and that was something that usopp was happy with. he wanted days like these to last for a life time, just seeing his family having a wonderful time, laughing and partying to no end--who wouldn't want a day like today to end?

he had been enjoying something light after such a hardy meal when he noticed sanji bringing up a box. he had gotten gifts from basically everyone thoughtout the day, he just assumed that his husband had been saving the best for last. and when he opened said box, he was right on the money with his thoughts.

hands going to touch all of the little bulbs, he admired the attention to detail. a smile on his face was shown through when he saw the one decorated like his little bee son, his heart fluttered more than anything for he knew how sanji felt about bugs and the such--but for him to actually get him a gift like this? oh how couldn't usopp be happy?

raising up from where he was sitting, the sniper hugged his chef, keeping him close--not wanting THIS moment to end faster than it should, he whispered into sanji's ear.

"you're the best, sanji, i love you."

"ahhhh!!!" there was no way that his smile could get any bigger at everything that was laid out in front of him. he was going to have the time of his life when the partying slowed down because of all the new tools that he has gotten from nami. oh he was definitely going to be painting her something later with the new brushes!

hugging her back, he couldn't contain his happiness.

"thank you so much, nami! i really appreciate all of this! if you need anything done with these tools, just let me know i'll be able to make you just about anything you need!!!" he wanted to work on things right now, but he knew that tonight was for celebration, not working.
