Yep, he does! Even if he didn't, I'm sure people would have told him because well:

They still do still consider themselves twins because they technically/biologically are!

I've actually kinda shoehorned Four into my headcanon/oc version of Side Order lol

THIS (I'm gonna go off because I love 4 and think they deserve better)

I've also been seeing people saying the parallel canon isnt 4, and while it doesn't say it flat out, I do think it's them in someway or another whether it be actually them or just a piece of them. There's just enough hints for me to believe it is them, it's just sadly never explained (You can always make headcanons if canon lets you down, it's morally correct)

First off, obviously the hairstyle. If you dont have splat2 data, it will be the default splat2 inkling girl hairstyle (which is THE Agent 4 hairstyle). If you do have splat2 data, it will be a different hairstyle, like mine being the "hipster" hairstyle (Tentacle off to the side with the lowdown tie)

(The game also took my splat2 data for my agent 8, since I don't play as an octoling in splat3.)

ANOTHER POINT. Marina wanted 4 to be system security, so you could say that either:

- Order knew this, took just part of their soul.

- The main inkling IS 4 who got corrupted by Order (like Marina did ala Marina Agitando, sorry if I spelt that wrong)

Both above points done by Order for 4 to be a better security measure for itself (the other goobers in the group being other peoples souls, I see them all being like a hivemind)

So again, while unfortunately not explained at all, I do believe the parallel canon is 4. I guess we just have to wait for the art book or DLC for the DLC (/j) cause theres just sooo much left unexplained (I mean hey, that gives us the opportunity to craft our own stories/ideas)

I have seen so many people upset that Pearl doesn't know who Agent 4 is, and that Agent 4 wasn't in Side Order, and no one at all mentioning that MARINA knows who Agent 4 is, and that the entire reason why Parallel Canon looks like Agent 4 / Agent 4's palette was in the memverse to begin with is because Marina was impressed by them and had specifically asked them to be head of memverse security. And IMO, it seems like Agent 4 agreed.

(Smollusk also goes on to mention how strong Agent 4 is, so they are canonically very good, which is also probably why Pearl knows them as a "big shot"; even if she has never met them, Marina probably talked them up to her! Or Cuttlefish did, but Pearl probably tuned him out after how he treated Marina in Octo Expansion LMAO.)

I know it's not on the same level as Agent 3 getting to be in Octo Expansion, and I too wish that Side Order had a full campaign instead of roguelike gameplay (because Side Order has taught me I hate roguelikes lmao), but I don't think Agent 4 was completely forgotten and I think a slight AU where they rescue Agent 4 from being Parallel Canon could be a cool fic. :)

I LOVE FOUND FAMILY MARIE AND AGENT 4!!! That's her adopted kid with way too much energy and no one can tell me otherwise. It makes me so sad that there is barely any content of it anywhere... If it is rare to find, I will just do it myself :]
