raihan can’t help but laugh. duraludon seems to be enjoying himself, head tilting back to the extent that it can in order to receive the full enjoyment of the blonde’s scritches.

Qrow figures his best bet of finding any familiar faces lies in exploring the rest of these festivities. Honestly, he’s not too sure about all this. It seems more like a distraction from the sudden loss of actual daylight, but there’s little he can do about it right now. Best to keep himself busy.

The huntsman doesn’t find anyone he knows on the trolley or near the fruitcake eating contest - why anyone would wanna gorge themselves on that junk is beyond him- but thankfully his luck turns slightly for the better when he spots a very memorable mop of blonde hair near the sled races. Qrow smiles; this does sorta seem like her kinda scene after all.

Walking over, he tries to catch her attention. “Hey, Firecracker. Hah, been here long?”

she knew that hunched over walk anywhere.

   it had worried her a great deal, not having her uncle around - he was pretty much the wings keeping their whole team a flight - him and ruby anyway. don’t get yang wrong, each member of their little ‘save the world’ squad had their virtues but ... even she knew her limits.

so to be in touch with the taller man again was an answer to her small prayers. even whilst she’s trying to kill a bit of time with winter festivities, the blonde is quick to pick up her sled, wave off a few randomers she just befriended and hurry through the snow.
