Leona hid her face in her hands and tried to stop her tears. It hurt too much, her failure, the Lunari’s lack of trust in her, it all chipped away at the Solari’s composure. Her body shuddered as she sobbed silently, and it was a while before she managed to recompose herself.

“You really think that the elders would do something to the Sun?” she shook her head, “I know you dislike them but I never believed you would let that bond you.” A sigh escaped her lips and she met the Lunari’s gaze, “You and the elders are so busy accusing each other that you don't even TRY to figure out what the actual cause is...”

The Solari shook her head again, “The elders are many things but I don’t believe them the sort to take foolish risks. If they were willing to silence you for what you found I am hard pressed to believe that they would provoke something that they don’t understand.” She lowered her gaze and pinched the bridge of her nose, “Considering what has happened I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume that the Shadow Isles are behind this, but by all means feel free to accuse whomever you wish.”

She hesitated briefly, and she hoped that her smile didn’t falter noticeably. She had been expecting this from Diana, but without knowing more about the situation it didn’t seem like a good idea to bring her into the Solari temple. Still... Leona wasn’t certain she could just refuse to take the young Lunari without making things worse. She made certain that her smile was back on her face before responding, “You’re talking about the Solari temple right? I actually just came from there.”

Leona looked up, at the position of the sun and sighed internally. She had been hoping to get away for a while, but this wasn’t something she could just ignore. She looked back at the young Lunari, meeting her gaze with a smile, “If we leave now, we should be able to get back shortly after nightfall. Does that sound good to you?”

Age: 6 years old

The child found herself confused and lost when she couldn’t remember where she was that time. The elders told her that if she were to get lost, find answers from the sun and he will guide her but then… Diana was unable to look up at their beloved God, her eyes hurting before she could even hear what he had to say.

Tears were starting to form in her eyes before she turned her head to the side, her mind unconsciously telling her to do so as she spotted someone of golden armor. The older woman glowed for the child for some reason yet her glow… it wasn’t like the sun’s but her warmth was of him so Diana found herself walking towards the other. She was a stranger yet she felt comfortable around the other just like how she does with the moon at night.

Then she held onto the woman’s arm, eyes cast down as her cheek turned a shade of pink due to embarrassment, her panic dying down at the sight of Leona. “You’re warm…”

Leona nodded slightly in agreement, “It’s true that a good warrior is never uncomfortable no matter the weapon in his hand.” She smirked, “Though if I’m honest I haven’t used a weapon aside from a sword in a while. I imagine that I’m rather rusty now.“ She smiled, “Shall we get something to drink?”

"I had a nice time during your visit. I am just Sorry I was under a enchantment at the time. I hope it didn't bother you."

Leona chuckled nervously, “I had a nice time as well, it was just… a very strange thing to adjust to I suppose. Perhaps I should be more accustomed to these sorts of things considering my travels.”

“Yes I’m sure you were only staring to mock me. Just remember not to stare directly at me for too long baker boy.” She laughed again, musical and slightly teasing. A moment later she had recomposed herself, crossing her arms in front of her. She gave Pantheon a teasing smirk, “It seems like you’ve gotten cocky without me there to keep you in check. Is there no one there that gives you a good fight anymore?”

The Artisan glares at Leona from afar, unable to find the words to say. After a bit of pondering, he took action. Pantheon walked behind the Solari, flicking the back of her head. "Hey there sunshine, long time no see."

The avatar sighed, “Not that I’m not pleased to see you Pantheon, but you do know there are better ways to get my attention right?” The Solari’s mouth turned up slightly in a smile, “So did you stop by to catch up, or do you need something from me?”

Leona frowned, “Simply because there is a prominent relic doesn’t mean there aren’t lesser versions of it.“ His change of topic didn’t go unnoticed by the sun warrior, but perhaps it was for the best. She didn’t wish to anger the mage and cause unnecessary conflict. Sadly the new topic wasn’t an improvement. She crossed her arms as her frown deepened. Her grip on her left arm tightened as Xerath described the state of the slaves, expected but no less tragic.

“It’s sad what people are willing to subject others to for their own gain, don’t you think Xerath?” Leona had heard the stories about Xerath from others, but she wanted to see how he would react. His reaction by itself would tell her volumes about whether or not what she heard was true.

"So then, it is true..." Xerath approaches the Solari slowly. "Another hero of the Sun... Or should I say heroine?" Of course, gender mattered little to him, but that was slightly unexpected...

Leona looked at the mage curiously, “Another? What are you talking about Xerath?” She kept her gaze on Xerath, suspicious of his intentions since he did not usually approach her.

It had been an exhausting day, and Leona would have slept deeply if not for her inner turmoil. She kept watching all of her friends dying while the instructor taunted her, letting her know that it was all her fault that they couldn’t defend themselves appropriately. She shifted in her sleep, her muttering barely audible. The nightmare finally drew to a close as her eyes shot open and she looked around the room. Noticing another person she immediately went on guard, “Who are you? Why are you here?”
