From the book Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Putting a coat on the back of a chair by the door is fine, but if you prefer, use coat hooks and a large catch-all basket for dropping keys, hats, gloves.
Small bookcase end-table next to the couch to store craft projects, books, and other things being worked on for easy access.
Add a storage unit near the dining room table to transition between eating and working there.
Daily toiletry items should be stored in a basket that you can move easily
Extra toiletries and medicine cabinet items go in open shelf/basket storage so they can be seen and used easily. If items no longer fit, purge the excess. Don’t obscure the view!
If you disrobe in the bathroom, place a tall hamper in there.
Keep a set of cleaning supplies in each bathroom

We are here to revive the dream that the students thought was impossible, with your support it was not impossible, just postponed, together we will rebuild the dreams of university students in Gaza
What is a ihyaa?
• Youth volunteer initiative 🌿
• Providing a free study environment for university students 🏫
• We revive determination, awaken the thought, and create hope ✨
Students in Gaza are facing multifaceted conflicts, including: cutting off electricity and the Internet. In this initiative, we did as follows, consider the needs of students (need) a place where there is Internet and electricity, but the places that provide these services are expensive and students do not have any source of income in the current situation, so the idea of providing a safe place that provides free electricity for students to try to lighten them and provide some of their basic needs, then revived and can continue thanks to your support 🍉🍉🍉
The place has been provided and the initiative has been started and we have prepared everything and we have also made an Instagram page to see all our work and also to support us to continue. You can click here to view the Instagram page of the initiative.
If you are a person who encourages science and encourages students to live in Gaza, their most basic rights. Support the campaign and share it with your friends and family to think about people suffering from this damn war and think about supporting them with a generous donation from you. This will be the best thing you do for Gaza students. Let's support the students. We can now reach about £4800 to set a new goal for our safety, which is £10,000 to ensure the continuation of the initiative for at least four months 🙏🏻

Very urgent call for donations for 8 family members. Two have died, so we're 6💔
Save us from Famine💔💔💔
This is Abed and His wife Hazeel.
We're not just asking for help — we're fighting to stay alive, literally.
✅️Vetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #324 )✅️
This is one eye Za'tar. He lost his eye in war due to a sharpnel. He is now depressed because there is no food. He refuses to feed his kids💔
We just feed our kids bread, only rotten bread💔
Because if we fed them good bread, we won't be abel to eat💔
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two of Za'tars' kids died starving and we couldn't save them, one is still alive so u can save him🥺
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Luna the cat and Tama the turtle also are family members and they suffer what we suffer💔
The situation has become harder than ever. Our campaign isn't receiving much support, and donations have been very limited — but Alhamdulillah, we're still holding on.
Tumblr media
We truly need your help now more than ever.
We need food
We have nothing to eat, literally nothing💔
Wheat, food and dry food are so expensive and we're suffering from real starvation with our pets💔🥺
Your support, no matter how small, means everything to us.
Thank you for standing with us.
Read our story here and donate or share plz:

Hey! do you have some resources on Iran that I can read up to gain more info on their history?
Hi, yes. I've made posts on this several times on my old blogs but i'm gonna write a list again. most of these are on libgen (the books)
Podcasts, documentaries, etc.:
5 part series on Iranian history from 1906 to present day by The Dig (podcast)
End of Empire (1985), chapter 7: Iran (documentary)
Coup 53 (2019) dir. Taghi Amirani, includes cut material from the End of Empire episode (doc/movie)
Books:
I recommend all of Ali Rahnema's books on Iran, no others that I've read have been as in depth. He's my favourite and he's rarely mentioned compared to writers like Ervand Abrahamian.
Behind the 1953 Coup in Iran: Thugs, Turncoats, Soldiers, and Spooks detailed analysis of the whole event, includes maps of Tehran and chronology
The Rise of Modern Despotism in Iran: The Shah, the Opposition, and the US, 1953–1968
Call to Arms: Iran's Marxist Revolutionaries: Formation and Evolution of the Fada'is, 1964–1976 only about iranian marxist groups, how they came to be, their different political lines and approaches etc.
The Political History of Modern Iran: Revolution, Reaction and Transformation, 1905 to the Present this is a very good one but only if you want something that goes into a LOT of details which is useful for me, because i study history, but not for someone that wants more of an overview.
Speaking of Ervand Abrahamian:
Radical Islam: The Iranian Mojahedin is good. @ghelgheli read this one and also sent me some parts of it. it's a thorough study of Mojahedin-e Khalq (book)
Articles:
The Defender: Waiting for the revolution in Tehran about Haroun Yashayaie. He is a past head of the Tehran Jewish Committee and a communist who was imprisoned pre-79'
some articles about the time when People’s Fedai Guerrillas and PKK trained in Palestine and Lebanon. they're ehhh okayish: Abandoned Legacy: The Left of Iran and Palestinians and The Kurds Who Died for Palestine

it's so baffling to see israel just get away with bombing multiple countries in the name of self defence. as if israel doesn't have a history of targeting hospitals and schools and kindergartens and refugee camps.
i remember when israel bombed a refugee camp last may. they used bombs that could level multiple city blocks on tents made out of tarp sheltering refugees. i remember the outrage and the protests following that.
i wish that people would continue to care like that for gaza again. we cannot become desensitised to genocide because it's been happening for a long time. as a matter of fact, our support for palestinians must increase as the genocide progresses.
i request you to please support a mother and her two young children. the food is expensive and alaa only wants to feed her children. even a small donation will help. [verification]
please donate here

with the protests in LA today and the violent federal and local pushback from police: we (me and my editor ryan fae) are accepting leaks, insider data, and public + leak archives relevant to ICE/DHS, LAPD, LASD, and anyone else that could shift the power of knowledge to the people if it were published.
in my words:
for now it's just minor archival data and some older data, but YOU can make a change to that.
we have three bits up already. the below article will be updated constantly. contact info at the bottom of the article. we promise anonymity and general source protection.

Nepal performs first sex change surgery
June 9, 2025
The Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital said it has successfully carried out a sex reaffirmation surgery at the hospital.
This marks the first time such a procedure has been undertaken in Nepal. In the past, transgender Nepalis needed to travel abroad, mostly to India or Thailand, for such surgeries.
“Yes, we have successfully carried out sex change surgery on a 25-year-old transgender woman from Janakpur,” said Dr Jayan Man Shrestha, head of the Plastic Surgery Department at the hospital. “The surgery was successful and the patient has already been discharged.”
The hospital sought the help of foreign experts for the surgery.
According to the hospital administration, Dr Alireza Hamidian Jaromi, an LGBTQ-affirming plastic surgeon at Temple Health in the US, led a team of TUTH doctors in performing the surgery.
The team comprised Dr Shrestha and other plastic surgeons serving at the hospital, including Dr Ishwar Lohani, Dr Sangam Rayamajhi, Dr Samit Sharma, Dr Bikesh Rajbandari, Dr Himalaya Niraula, and resident doctors.
Doctors at the hospital said that the person sought only sex change surgery and did not seek breast augmentation or facial surgery to achieve feminine features.
“We are ready to provide other surgeries, if the person requests them,” said Shrestha.
Doctors say that with the start of this service at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, many transgender people seeking sex reassignment surgery will now be able to access gender-affirming care within the country.
“We hope the person who underwent the surgery has now achieved the gender identity of his [her] choice,” said Dr Lohani, a consultant plastic surgeon at the hospital. “Others can also get the service at the hospital. The procedure costs only around Rs150,000 to Rs200,000, which is about the same price as a plane ticket to go abroad.”
Due to a lack of such services in Nepal, sexual and gender minorities were previously forced to travel to India, Thailand, and other countries for expensive and sometimes risky surgeries.
The hospital plans to set up a gender-affirming clinic to better serve transgender people and continue these services.
“Those who want to undergo sex-reassignment surgery can contact doctors at the outpatient department of the plastic surgery unit of our hospital,” said Shrestha, the department head. “Some people have already expressed interest in the service.”
Although surgeries are not required for gender affirmation, many patients seek surgical procedures to align their physical appearance with their gender identity.

JD Vance’s interview with Theo Von is an entire cringefest but naturally there has to be a part in there about Theo Von asking him why America is funding Israel’s genocide and JD Vance just being like “it’s not a genocide actually……. It’s a conflict. That we’re trying to eliminate.” By eliminating Arab people I assume

This is not like a fully completed thought but yk
So I've done my first aid + CPR a few times. And every single time I try and bring up scenarios for fat folks
Specifically like 'what if someone is too large for me to wrap my arms around then to do the heimleich'
And its incredibly rare I get a decent answer.
How absolutely insane is it that me, as a fat person, is asking how to have MY life saved or to save ANOTHER life, is an impossible feat if someone is fat.
Most of the time they tell me to 'just try anyways uwu'
There has got to be a better option.
