i don’t like how a lot of big shifters on tiktok are like “you need to prioritize your cr before worrying about shifting”, “you need to love your cr”, and “this is your original reality you were put here for a reason”, because for me personally i don’t feel like this reality is where i belong, and that’s not a sad or bad thing. before i even knew about shifting i still knew that i didn’t belong here, something always felt off i just never really felt connected here i would always drown myself in my favorite movies and shows wishing i had that life, and again i don’t see it as a sad or bad thing i see it as finding my place and it’s just not in this universe. while i don’t believe that i was put in this universe for a specific reason i do believe that i found shifting for a reason or more so that shifting found me for a reason and that reason being to live my true life and be my true self in a different reality. i’m not perma-shifting because i hate myself i’m doing it because i love myself and know i’ll finally feel at home and completed.

something i think shifters don't talk about enough are mundane moments and everyday life. like, thinking about a huge gossip session with hermione and ginny while we get done in our room at the burrow, cuddling with fred on the couch, a walk with george, a game of chess with ron or singing a song with harry makes me more excited than actually defeating lord fucking voldemort and saving the whole wizarding world.

the shifting community

sometimes i hate the shifting community.

why are we policing each other instead of helping each other shift? saying “oh you and do this bc it’s immoral” when people who aren’t shifters do that shit and more in every reality?

there are murderers, r4pists, robbers, child gr00mers in every reality. some people have intentions we will never understand.

let’s say you found shifting at 12; now you’re 18 and you realize “holy shit! i never shifted to my bnha dr from when i was 13! damn, i rlly wanted to be w bakugou. i guess i can do it now.”

but then u think back to a post you saw on here “shifting for minors as an adult is bad and predatory!!”

that holds you back, and makes you feel bad because of something you once agreed with.

you’ve lived so many lives, from childhood to death, then u went to another reality. you had boyfriends when you were a child

does that make you a child pr3d? a groomer because now you’re an adult in the reality in which you found shifting?

no!! oh my god, guys it’s not predatory. the intention is to live out a childhood fantasy not “ooohh!! minors” what the fuck?

please stop policing people you don’t know. you don’t know the full story, you don’t know the thought process, it’s not wrong.

plus, if you believe you can respawn in a different reality as a different age, you’re being a hypocrite. because if you are, let’s say, 16 here and shift to another reality where u are 16, combined those two versions of yourself have lived 32 years.

it pisses me off. stop trying to control other people. you already have multiple lives of your own you can control.

you don’t have to see eye to eye, just see each other.

Being on shiftblr has really changed my perspective on shifting tbh. I’ve been manifesting more, using self-concept subs, and letting go of the misinformation that I’ve been fed thanks to Shiftok. I feel like I can actually do it if I wanted to.

Just think of when you finally get there. You take some time, maybe a few minutes, maybe a few hours, to let it settle in. You shifted! After all this time, you finally did it. How long have you been trying? How many times have you almost given up? You realize that all that time was worth it. Every second. Because now you're there after days, months, even years of effort. How exciting! You set your heart to something and you achieved your goal! And now, you no longer have to worry. You can just. BE. You can live the life you worked so hard for. It's a good thing you didn't give up, right?

Keep working on it. Don't give up. Think of that first day in your DR, and let it fuel you. You will shift.
