So, a little theory:
(spoilers for Deltarune, OFF, and In Stars and Time, because I love stories about narrative agency and messing with the fourth wall)
Is this going to be like OFF where the only choice we can truly make is who the final boss is?
Kris is definitely no Batter who willingly, knowingly, and dare I say gleefully goes along with the terrible things the player does. But it'd be really neat if when we get to the final chapter the player chooses who to control and in choosing who to control, decides who the final boss is.
Or maybe it'll be like In Stars and Time, where the final boss is the party desperately trying to save Kris.
It's gonna be a fun ride, no matter what and I look forward to it!

Edit: THE PROSHOTS OUT NOW FOR FREE!!!
youtube
Do you like horror media like Silent Hill, Stranger Things, Twin Peaks, and I Saw The TV Glow? Do you like musicals with smooth folk rock soundscapes like Rent, Spring Awakening, and Hadestown?? Do you want a musical that stars a complicated trans-femme ingenue who makes an demonic pact with her hometown's demon???
THEN YOU'LL LOVE....
TOTALED: A FOLK ROCK THRILLER!!
“Totaled: A Folk Rock Thriller” is a musical with lyrics and book by January Eyler, with music and arrangements by Neil Mclinden. Paige Chambers stumbles back into her home town of Caelum Run and makes a deal with the towns Demon in exchange for the re-animation of her friends and her “peace”. In turn, she must kill the heir to the Redfield cult, Clay Redfield. An intense B-Movie horror inspired story accompanied by a stunning folk rock soundscape. Totaled is a treat for anyone who loves a horror musical set in a remote, rural Pennsylvania ghost town.
This is one of the first full productions of its kind to be produced, directed, written, and led by trans artists. It’s also one of the first albums to ever use an equitable payment model for cast recordings, which makes sure that all of the artists whose work is featured on the album gets paid in perpetuity! Every stream supports your favorite member of the cast and crew so if you'd like to passively support a bunch of awesome trans artists please stream our album!!
The cast album is available to be streamed right now and is embedded below with the proshot being slated for released later in april, our sizzle reels from the proshot are out and also embedded in the post below! Keep an eye on The Dunwich Dolls youtube channel for more updates, trailers and other fun content!!
youtube
We also have an official 4 panel comic series that has a bit more fun with the shows story and characters so if comics are more your speed please check out our fun little webtoon!!
Thank you so so much for reading this post and checking out my little links and I hope you like the show, it really means a lot to me and the rest of the team! Please share this post if you can and tell ur friends!!!
Thanks again,
January Eyler

This is the highest compliment I can bestow, but Dungeon Meshi reads like it was written for, if not by, Terry Pratchett.
Oh, you have a dungeon with monsters and adventurers? How does it work? Who pays? How do you get enough supplies? People will eat anything when hungry; do they eat the monsters? People will cook feasts from rotten meat and weeds; what feasts can you make with monsters?
By the way, here is a terrible pun about soup.
You want heroes to have peril, but also to live? Easy! Just have a ressurection spell. Well how does it work? What's the point? What would people give to live forever? What would people give to die?
Here's a dwarf whose magical shield is a wok.
And if they come back, it still hurts right? Do people remember? What happens if they forget that, outside of the dungeon, they can't come back? What if the thing that brings them back also ties them to the dungeon more and more, changes them, makes them different without knowing why.
Whilst you were thinking about that, the halfling founded an adventurers guild. It's an actual union with dues etc. btw he's a deadbeat dad apart from this.
The dwarf from earlier carries familial trauma that will haunt you for the next decade. The protagonist holds his sister's skull as the first proof that there is anything left of her. The two female leads share a love so deep that giving it a name would pollute it. The protagonist's sword is a mollusc.

I love the dynamic in the Discworld fandom on this site, I think it's mainly because there are a lot of dormant fans, if you will, who've read and loved the books for years but haven't engaged much recently, who sort of reappear whenever a fun post is doing the rounds. It's fantastic. We get the cozy small fandom vibe without the screaming matches, but also get the popular posts from time to time, y'know?

In 2024 we got the chance to read 60+ queer books, 13+ of which were decided by our patrons and social media followers! What should we be reading in 2025? What new releases should we keep an eye out for, and which old books deserve another look?
