02122016 | DF day 12 | word vomit

I totally forgot that I’m more than halfway done with Daniel fast! Today was a pretty chilled it Friday. Going to class and having a great time cause my professor is hilarious. He looks exactly like the grandpa from toy story who fixes up woody. I love having grandmas and grandpas as my professors they’re so motherly/fatherly. It’s so interesting that all the professors who’re elderly really really like me and I become BFFs with them and the young ones don’t even know my name. That just proves that I’m basically a grandma. I met up with my discipler and talked about our goals for this semester. A lot to do with evangelism. I am excited to see where God will use me to grow more. Went to small group and saw my sloop fam. Always excited to see them every week for them to speak truth into my life every single week. Today I saw His love work in two sisters and remembered my first time when God whispered in my ear that He loved me, I couldn’t stop smiling. I couldn’t contain my joy. I pray that everyday, I’ll remember that His love on me is so real that I can’t contain my joy.

02112016 day 11 – Daniel fast what a long day – I woke up today wanting to have slept longer but my body dragged me out of bed. I really hated the taste of vegetables during lunch. Social justice issues at class made me feel sad for humanity. Was on the wheel for ceramics for 7 hours / #artist lower back probs The Lord is teaching me everyday about patience. Sleeping late and waking up early, discussing topics that make me uncomfortable, and hard laborious works. And although it’s discomforting, I know, I know that these kinds of days bring me closer to Christ. Thank you, Lord for even though some days seem arbitrary, You will always remain sweet to me.

02102016 Beloved Fam | SAIC bible study night | Kung Fu fellowship I’m going to try and post more regularly about personal things… Let’s see how long this will last LOL My Beloved Fam learned today about discipleship and got me remembering how sweet it is for having a sister in Christ who I can entrust with. Someone who pushes me and reminds me that I’m beloved by Christ when I forget. When I’m lonely, I’ll think about this photo and remember that I am not alone.. God has given me these wonderful brother and sisters as a family away from home.

I can’t believe I actually lived though the full transition from VHS to DVD. Like there are people alive who have never seen a VHS tape….I remember when we were still tryna figure out how the fuck they got a full movie onto a cd.

emotional abuse is when someone does something to hurt you, and when you express your feelings, that you’re upset, they turn it around to be something you did to hurt them and they force you to apologize for it, and your feelings, like always, are rendered invalid and silenced, forever damaging the ability to trust others with your feelings because they always are used against you.
