The Lion is done! (Ignore his backpack, I swear I'm going to paint it later)

It took me around 20-25 hours, which isn't anything crazy for such a large model. I took pictures with my phone so the quality isn't the best... but I've moved and my photo setup is yet to be set up.

My latest blood angels termie. 2 down, 3 more to go. I also ordered a box of the BA Assault Terminators to combine with the upscaled bodies from Leviathan. That'll be a nice little project.

My Blood Angels Terminator Sergeant I just finished up. I spent about 10 hours on this guy and I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I could easily spend another 10 hours refining, but if I do I will never actually finish a Blood Angels army... And I don't want to be the guy gaming with two squads of painted models tops hahaha

This is my first time painting an Imperial Fist. I've painted some lamenters before which also have yellow armor, but I've never tried to push it this far. My goal was to emulate Darren Latham's style a little (being sort of 'eavy metal, but also volumetric highlighting and shading)

Hope you guys like it as I enjoyed painting it. It took me around 22 hours.

Captain Messinius as an Ultramarine. Did you know the Ultramarines implemented tight chains of command in their chapter because they had massive issues with individual marines running off and going on a bloodthirsty tear through xenos/chaos infested areas? That's right, the ultramarines are (or were) canonically some of the most zealous space marines around. Malum Caedo is a good example of this.
