I drew those pictures for a reason. My parents have been busy with work since forever, and they wouldn’t get home until after I was asleep. I could never tell them about my day. But one day, I got the idea to write them a picture letter. I’d draw pictures of what happened to me that day and leave them on the table. I thought that maybe that would let my parents know how my days went; even if I couldn’t tell them directly. My father and mother were always pleased to see my drawings. They praised me and say they were good. And that made me very happy.
