cat update: he's okay, he's got urinary crystals and needs to be put on a special kind of kibble to help, as well as some meds for a few days, and a week under careful watch to make sure he doesn't get a blockage

he's eating just fine, even saw him drinking water this morning, and acting more like himself, which surprised me given we just got back from the vet and he was so stressed, poor thing

anyway, things are okay for now, though any Fs in the chat for his temporary imprisonment are appreciated lmao (kept away from the others with a litter box of his own for monitoring)

If you check his face, he has a very sharp and defined cupid's bow, and since i try to simplify him while drawing because faces are a pain, i need to pick key features and exaggerate them at least a bit to make him more recognizable as himself, and the lips are one of them! it's also why i draw his eyes like that, he's got sad poet eyes as a friend of mine put it hehehe

but also yeah i just love drawing defined top lips, it's funnnnnn <3

got my knee crunched extremely painfully in physio today, one of the cats is sick and not eating and the vet appointment is tomorrow, the car battery might be dead so our transportation is a mess but my grandpa lent us his for now, and i just slammed the back of my hand against the staircase railing hard enough it resonated in my bones all through my wrist and fingers and this is how i'm feeling kdfjhnkjgdhd

to think it's been over a year since my weird little sphinx obsession started... and to think it started with desmond as a sphinx dkfjnghkdgh gonna try drawing him soon again, it's been a while

okay so i don't fucking know when, how, or why, but I've had sphinx Desmond on the brain for the past week and have been working and experimenting on his design. I don't really have a story in mind? Mostly thinking "What if instead of fucking *dying*, he just gets turned into a giant sphinx due to isu bullshit since the sphinx is like, a guardian of knowledge, and Desmond has lived 3 1/2 lifetimes (with Haytham? i'm not too sure about the lore, still need to get familiar with AC3)

Anyway, he'd still have his bleeds, he'd be very confused, scared and uncoordinated for weeks, maybe even months after the transformation, getting used to being so much bigger, stronger, and no longer being bipedal as well as not having thumbs. I'm debating on whether or not to give him wings? I dunno.

Wanted to make him soft and cuddly, since he'd probably slouch a lot, trying to make himself look smaller. I'm still not familiar enough with Bec's and Shaun's and William's characters to have a proper idea of how they'd react? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter :3
