a while ago i got a somewhat deep cut on my hand. it has since healed but the scar sticks out in a large bump. though it is healed it is still very much there and hurts from time to time. when i put pressure on it or do a particular motion i get a sharp pain.

some of yall have past incidents that you’ve since “recovered” from, but the scar is still there, isn’t it? when you look back to it it still hurts you, doesn’t it? can that damage ever really be fully undone, can you still do all the things you used to before?

as far as i can tell, there’s very little separating psychological and physical injuries, and one tends to lead to the other, unfortunately.

don’t let anyone tell you your problems aren’t real just because they “can’t see them”

i found a queen ant a couple of days ago :3

i didn’t get any photos but she was big and red and missing a wing

Queen ant taking a break from her hibernation. She was slow, clunky and didn't mind me taking a series of pictures and some footage. A wonderful moment to watch, and a lucky siting in the winter.
