baitulmaal - provides a variety of necessities, including food, water, shelter, and medical supplies

gaza mutual aid fund - distributes food, hygiene products, water, and other essential supplies, including financial support. run by @/el-shab-hussein's amazing friend Mona. updates can be found on her instagram.

hygiene kits for gaza - provides hygiene supplies including menstrual products, wipes, and toothbrushes/toothpaste

anera - provides a variety of necessities, including food, water, hygiene supplies, medicine, blankets and mattresses, and psychological care

palestine children's relief fund - provides supplies and support with a focus on children. also has an initiative for lebanon

dahnoun mutual aid - provides water, food, tents, baby supplies, financial support, and other necessities. updates can be found through their instagram

It has come to my attention that some people do not know about the genocide in Ghazzah. I don't know how they are not aware of it over the past 20 months, but they express ignorance when you ask them. There is another group where they do know about it - at least from a surface level - but they are not well informed on the harsh conditions families would go through everyday. They don't know that a blockade is in place. They don't know that aid is restricted, and when it does become available, it is sold at exorbitant prices!

Even with the BDS movement, there are those who don't know if they should boycott Microsoft, Coco Cola, or other targeted companies.

So it makes me wonder if these people are choosing to not know. Yes, there is much less attention on Ghazzah. It is about Iran and the settler colony now. This is intentional. Journalists are targeted and murdered. International press is not allowed. But why do we need the news when we have easy access to social media? There are pictures, testimonies, and videos right at our fingertips!

This is why we need to keep talking about Palestine. Keep boycotting, donating, and protesting! Please consider helping my friend, Ruba's, fundraiser! She and her family are in the North. It's Juneteenth, I'm a Black Texan, descendant of enslaved Black Texans. Texas is the only state that fought two different wars to protect slavery and chattel slavery ended the last for it. Juneteenth to me is to celebrate that part of overt white supremacy coming to an end, but it was not the end of white supremacy. It did not stop, with the lynching, the police violence, the redlining, the environmental racism, the segregation. Juneteenth represents a good win aganist the fight against white supremacy, but it's not over.

And for this Juneteenth, I ask for help for my friends that are the victims of this same US white supremacy. Not just today, but everyday Gazans deserve any type of help that you can give them. The technology that is used to segregate and attack and police and destroy Palestinians is the same technology that is sold to Texas to be used for the border patrol and to harass and control immigrants and border communities. This is one, connected fight aganist white supremacy and US control and destruction of Black and Brown bodies. So I ask today if you could donate this, or share, to help provide for a mother and her 2 now fatherless children in Gaza, or anyone else in Gaza who needs help. Like this family with a sick baby. Just do something, especially if you got the day off.

URGENT APPEAL, SAMIR'S CONDITION IS GETTING WORSE, DONATIONS NEEDED !!

I don't understand why people are so hesitant to speak up and take action about Gaza, especially in a time when information is so readily available for everyone to see.

The people in Gaza are living through the worst suffering we can imagine. They document, tak pictures of their daily hardships and post them online for the world to see, yet nothing changes. The strongest boulder would crack in Gaza, they bear through starvation, humiliating and degrading conditions, lack of aid and medical supplies, losing friends and loved ones, fearing for their very lives at every second, worrying about the future for them and their children, and the depression of everything they had once lost.

If watching this genocide hasn't inspired you to take action or speak up, I fear what will.

Samir is a young man from Gaza, his life has been destroyed. Samir is now in a coma, needs to have his spleen removed, and his foot may he amputated.

His family have worked very hard to appeal his fundraiser on social media, yet so far 38% of the goal has been reached. They need funds to support Samir's medical bills and travel, hopefully evacuate Gaza.

" Please, Samir's condition is serious. He is in a coma. I beg you. We do not want to delay travel due to slow donations. If everyone contributes $100 or $50, it will help us with urgent treatment. I hope the owners of the big pages will appeal and not stop. We are a broken and desperate family. I do not know what to do with my children who are sleeping in the street, hungry, and with Samir, who is injured and in a serious condition. Samir's family now find themselves in a desperate situation, watching Samir in such a condition and in need of donations, yet donations are slow. Imagine standing helpless as your family member suffers? The people of Gaza are exhausted and need our support more than ever, please don't stop sharing, don't ignore their pain. The situation is truly desperate.

Ibrahim (@aburakhiaibrahim) told me that he only gets one meal every three days because of the high food prices! With 28 family members to take care of, they can barely afford to buy food, because of the high prices. Especially since they now have to pay $500 for a bag of flour and $100 for a kilo of sugar in Gaza!

Ibrahim has a chance to escape Gaza and reunite with his sister in Canada since their application for family reunification has been approved. However, they struggle to save money for the travel costs since they can barely afford to buy food to sustain themselves!

But YOU can help these 28 people buy food! YOU can help Ibrahim and his family evacuate to Canada! Share Ibrahim's fundraiser and donate what you can afford. These donations have been essential in helping them buy food and other basic necessities so they can survive!
