“We love to have fun and get weird. but underneath that is the fact that we love you very, very much and we don’t take for granted for a second that you are the reason we’re here and you’ve allowed us to have this career as our dream. So we would never tell you how to live, but this is something I like to say if you want to take it into your own lives and bring it out into the world, I think that would be a good thing. And that’s to love everyone, and forgive everyone, especially yourself.”

There is a cliff on the right hand side of the sanctuary when you come out. Go there. It’s a gorgeous view.

MEHRUNES DAGON The Daedric Prince of Destruction, Change, Revolution, Energy, and Ambition. He is associated with natural dangers like fire, earthquakes, and floods. Dagon’s plane of Oblivion is known as “The Deadlands”. Of all the Daedric Princes, Mehrunes Dagon seems to have the most animosity towards Nirn’s species. Given his nature (Prince of Destruction), along with the fact that Daedra truly cannot be destroyed, the only entities he can practice destruction on are mortals.

One of my favorite daedric princes.
CLAVICUS VILE The Daedric Prince whose sphere is the granting of power and wishes through ritual invocations and pact. He is best known for granting wishes, often in ways that turn out poorly for the recipient. Clavicus has a companion named Barbas. While capable of selective shape-shifting, the form it assumes most of the time is that of a dog.

VAERMINA The Daedric Prince whose sphere is the realm of dreams and nightmares, and from whose realm issues forth evil omens. Some have also claimed her sphere ties somehow to torture. Vaermina is depicted as a grotesque old woman. Her plane of Oblivion is “Quagmire.” It is described as a nightmare realm, where every few minutes reality shifts and becomes ever more horrifying. At the same time, Daedra worshipers will often pray to her just before sleeping, likely in hopes of warding off any potential meetings during their rest.

JYGGALAG The Prince of Order, Logic and Deduction, and has taken account of every detail of the world and of every action that has ever taken place on Mundusor Oblivion, long before they actually happen. As a result, he believes in certainty and determinism, and that the concept of individuality is an illusion. Jyggalag was at one time one of the most powerful of the Daedric Princes; he was so powerful that the other Princes began to fear him and his power. As a result, they cursed him to live in opposition of everything he stood for, to live the life of a madman and bring chaos and insanity rather than order and logic. Henceforth, Jyggalag became known as the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath.

HERMAEUS MORA The Daedric Prince of knowledge and memory. His sphere is the scrying of the tides of fate, of the past and future as read in the stars and heaven, and in his dominion are the treasures of knowledge and memory. His realm is known as the Apocrypha, an endless library where all forbidden knowledge may be found.

MERIDIA The Daedric Prince of Life and Lady of Infinite Energies, Meridia, is one of the Princes whose obscurity prevents most mortals from understanding much about her at all. She almost always comes in the form of a beautiful woman. Like a siren, calling mortals in to do her bidding, Meridia has always had a passionate hatred for all things undead. Meridia’s holdings inOblivion are collectively known as the “Colored Rooms.”

HIRCINE The Daedric prince whose sphere is the Hunt, the Sport of Daedra, the Great Game, and the Chase; he is known as the Huntsman and the Father of Manbeasts. Hircine created the various lycanthropic diseases which transform mortals into beasts and is, therefore, the guardian of were-creatures. The Hunting Grounds are the realms of Hircine in his plane of Oblivion. Being seemingly endless, the plane features puzzling rooms and mazes inhabited by vicious creatures such as bears, wolves, werecreatures, and Daedra.

AZURA The Daedric Prince whose sphere is dusk and dawn, the magic in-between realms of twilight. Also known as “Mother of the Rose,” and “Queen of the Night Sky”. Azura’s plane is known as Moonshadow, a realm said to be too beautiful for mortals to comprehend.

NOCTURNAL The Daedric Prince whose sphere is the night and darkness. She is also known as the Night Mistress and “Lady Luck”. Although Nocturnal has arguably one of the largest followings of all the Daedric Princes, she has no form of organized clergy. Worshipers of Nocturnal consist primarily of those who operate in darkness and night, such as thieves and spies. However, Nocturnal’s deception is not usually meant to be harmful or violent in the manner of Boethiah. Rather, the unknowable nature of Nocturnal is the core of her being, and serves no real ulterior purposes beyond being mysterious. Thus, while thieves may consider Nocturnal their patron. Nocturnal has three mortal servants upon Nirn who are known as the Nightingales. The Nightingales serve Nocturnal directly, granted the power over shadow, subterfuge and strife in exchange for their service. Once a Nightingale enters into their contract with Nocturnal, they are bound for life and beyond to serve the Night Mistress in guarding the Twilight Sepulcher and in Nocturnal’s realm Evergloam until Nocturnal feels the Nightingale’s contract with her has been fulfilled.
