I think so much about how female sainthood is essentially raising your head, staring the world into its blind eyes and then saying no.

I’m thankful that my God is big enough to care even about the little things. No matter how small we think they are to the world, He sees the burdens of sadness and anxiety that attack us in the quiet. Even the silly ones. Even the ridiculous ones we berate ourselves for having. He sees it. He wants to step in. And we aren’t bothering Him when we ask Him to.
