Say what you want about tiktok but the trend of writing the captions onto the video? That’s super helpful/inclusive for deaf/HH people (and even people who don’t speak a language natively etc) and I just think that’s kinda cool.

So many platforms have videos that aren’t accessible to people, but it’s become the norm on tiktok to caption the videos and that’s pretty nice. Also since the captions are actually on the video, that means when it gets reposted to other websites it is still accessible!

Pres. Trump said Wednesday that his administration has finalized a major rollback of one of America’s bedrock environmental rules. The change will strip away at the 50-year-old, Nixon-era National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), sometimes described as the ‘Magna Carta’ of U.S. environmental law. Under the new rules, major infrastructure projects like pipelines and highways could be exempt from environmental reviews, the New York Times reported. Critics said the rollback will disproportionately affect communities of color, who are expected to have even less say in proposed projects in their neighborhoods. Trump celebrated the rollbacks in a White House event Thursday surrounded by a crane and two trucks. According to the Times, his administration has rolled back at least 100 environmental regulations since taking office.

“what we do to our kids is our own business” yeah because it’s personal right to traumatize your own kid beyond recognition and fuck up future generations and believe me if it was your business then social services, laws protecting children’s rights, and trauma therapy for abused children wouldn’t fucking exist. If you think it doesn’t reflect on you as a human being what you do with your children and you can still totally walk around calling yourself a good person after shredding your child’s existence into torture and terror, you are dead wrong. Traumatizing and abusing your child makes you into a monster, regardless of what you do with the entirety of your life, if you fucking hurt a child that’s in your care, you don’t deserve to walk on this earth or to even even subtly assume there’s anything good about your existence.

If your child heard you telling them to hurt themselves, or had you do nothing as they were hurting their own self, you’re an abuser.

If your child has to look elsewhere for the slightest bit of acknowledgment, attention and kindness, you’re an abuser.

If your child frets that other people would treat them so cruelly as you do, you’re an abuser.

If your child is afraid that other people will think of them as lowly as you do, you’re an abuser.

If your child had to beg for a necessity from you, you’re an abuser.

If your child was forced to offer labour, services or go thru strain and fear to gain basic necessities from you, you’re an abuser.

If your child had to fight to deserve to be part of your family, or to have you even acknowledge them, you’re an abuser.

If your child had no safety, support, security or love in your home, you’re an abuser.

If your child lived in fear of being kicked out, humiliated and abandoned by you, you’re an abuser.

If all you taught your child was how it feels to be hated, you’re an abuser.

If you refuse to acknowledge even for a second that you put your child thru all that suffering and fear, and still try to paint yourself as a benefactor in your child’s life, you’re an abuser and a liar.

No child has ever deserved any of this.

TMZ needs to be ABOLISHED. There’s no way that a GOSSIP SITE should be breaking the news of people’s deaths and injuries before these people’s FAMILIES are notified. The fact that TMZ actively HAS people working in law enforcement and healthcare positions is sickening. Just because you’re famous you can’t get the help you urgently need without someone leaking your information at the time your most sensitive for money and flimsy views?? How many more situations like this do we need to face before we start holding TMZ accountable for what they’ve done??
