Okay- here is a fic idea I've had for a long time now. Copacabana but Lola and Tony are Steve and Eddie. Rico is Billy.
I can't shake showgirl!Steve and bartender!Eddie. Add in the flavor of Eddie dying in a fight to protect Steve, and then Steve being so miserable about it that he won't recover. Billy, of course is an ass. It's a reskin of the dynamic I adore so much between them, with no upside down, but still miserable.
