Hey btw since we're looking for some more scenes/lore/etc to incorporate in the Goncharov script, I thought I would share the archival request form made by Arty :) (@creatimess )
Regardless of what you think about the protect, you must admit an organized archive of Goncharov is pretty cool. There's 5 people on our archiving team currently, help them out by submitting your favorite lore/posts/other gonch-material ^-^

A Fitting Betrayal
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Katya comes over to the apartment to invite Goncharov to a movie. While they're crossing over the Manhattan Bridge, Katya starts to become melancholic and they begin to talk about their past in Moscow and what happened to their lives after moving to Naples. As Goncharov walks away and heads to the theater, Katya pulls out her gun and shoots him in the middle of the bridge before going up to him, destroys his belongings, and then starts to make her way back to the apartment to steal whatever money Goncharov had stolen with his now dead friends.

NEWEST UPDATE: I need help buying the meds day by day currently, as I am often stuck with empty packages. Please share this and my newer posts that are pinned. We need to prepare for February’s meds because I have no idea how we are going to get through for the next couple of months, I still can't believe and express the amount of gratitude you all have helped in getting her the meds for last month. We are at 23% of the goal for this month (February), it has been life saving to my family as my mom is the glue that holds everything together.
This February, we will need 500$ after coupons have already been applied- I have developed a friendship with the pharmacist and am working directly with them, they let me buy a few pills at a time for her and we have already applied coupons but it still results to this amount monthly. If anyone can help, share this or donate, it all helps with giving me hope that things will be fine in the end. I just can't wait until she won't need these pills come this summer, as she only needs them for one year.
My p*yp*I is: saysam @ live. ca (no spaces)

For those of you who weren't aware of my situation, this is a screenshot from one of my previous posts where I was melting down, shortly after her heart attack had happened:

And proof of the notice I received earlier last month in regards to a court hearing and possible eviction I could be facing, despite facing discrimination from my landlord for being a GNC woman and a butch lesbian. (I say this because he refers to me as male despite knowing I am biologically and legally female, along with the fact that I never requested the department to refer to me as male at any point.) The case is currently ongoing.
🖤 Please don’t tag this post with anything and please boost it and thank you for reading and support so so much 🖤

The Boat Scene (Act 2, Part 3)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
During their discussion, Mario brings up the fact that there have been various robberies committed in the middle of the night for a week straight with the robber being currently unknown. Recognizing that this is how Andrey would always rob people when times got tough, he understands the gravity of the situation with Mario explains that the criminal game that their playing is completely different to what Andrey is doing. After their discussion, Goncharov leaves his seat and heads up to the deck of the ship to ask Katya where Andrey is where she says that he's at the bow of the ship.
Once there, Goncharov asks Andrey if he's doing okay. Andrey says he's not and they have a discussion about what it might be Andrey really needs, which even he can't seem to figure out. Out of the blue, Goncharov brings up a childhood memory and the two share another childhood memory of them going camping in the middle of a national park and what separates them from the rest of their gang back home. When Andrey tries to come up with a difference between the two, he stops and starts to realize that the differences between him and Goncharov and their gang back home was almost indistinguishable.
After this conversation, Goncharov tells the captain to bring the ship back to port before heading back down to the lower cabin and sits down across from Mario as the ship heads back to its port in Naples.

Once the yacht is out into the Gulf of Naples, Katya and Sofia wonder why Andrey has been appearing melancholy as well as discuss another fictional film called Melankholiya, which Sofia describes as long and convoluted. The Boat Scene (Act 2, Part 1)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Goncharov, Katya, Andrey, Mario, and Sofia are walking through the Borgo Marina as they make their way towards the various boats floating in the water before coming across a yacht Goncharov had rented for the afternoon a few weeks back in order to get away from the stresses of being a mob boss.

Don’t you worry. My version of Goncharov attempts to give Ice Pick Joe much more screen time.
Tumblr media
So I watched Goncharov (1973) after seeing a few posts about joe and, can I say, he did not disappoint! I love unhinged quirky characters like this so I was already expecting to like him, but I wasn’t expecting how deep and interesting his character actually was and how much was shown in such a (relatively) short amount of screen time.

I checked to see if Scorsese’s daughter has a Twitter account and, from what I’m assuming, the colored photo is hers? However, I could be completely wrong as well seeing that I genuinely don’t know what her Twitter is and have no idea where this news came from.
For the people wondering why Goncharov is trending again, it’s because Scorsese’s daughter leaked on her Twitter that her dad is remaking it, it’s already got a cast and everything. Personally I love Margot Robbie as Katya but I’m a little unsure about the rest of the picks- thoughts?

The Abbey Crapolla Vineyard Scene
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
After Goncharov and Andrey's discussion along the Via Partenope Road, Andrey heads to what is now presumed to be Goncharov's new home/vineyard. However, after Goncharov arrives, Andrey brings up the issues with Goncharov not taking his word as seriously as Mario's. But eventually, once Goncharov begins to talk about how he built this mafia empire with his bare hands, Andrey grows angry and berates Goncharov for not truly having built what he now has and questions what his word even means to the man. However, Goncharov tells Andrey to leave after being berated in such a matter. Before Andrey leaves, he reminds Goncharov that he can't keep running away from the past and that the past will catch up with him and then, Andrey leaves the vineyard as instructed.

If you're ever in need of a script writer or scripts for scenes that have already been written, feel free to reach out.
Major Announcement
You know, some people say that childhood dreams never come true. Well I'm here to say different. Late last night, we got confirmation that Intrepid Pictures has acquired the remake rights to a film that meant so much to me in my childhood...
GONCHAROV.
Tumblr media
It's a risk, because they always say it's a bad idea to remake something that's already perfect. So I'm thinking it's more a legacy sequel/reboot kind of thing. Fortunately, we've got a lot of the original cast still around, so reprising their roles (even in cameos) could give us an edge. I mean who doesn't want to see Pacino step back into Mario Ambrosini's iconic voice? (A lot of people don't know this, but he achieved that sound by inhaling as he spoke his lines instead of exhaling).
It'll be our first foray outside of traditional horror, though we intend to revisit a lot of 'The Banker' Daddano's famous dream sequences from the original, which, as we know, can get pretty horrific - I mean, remember that bit about the paperboy with the eyes of a cat and the voice of an owl, and the image of the Kremlin under attack by an 80 foot pile of rats dressed in a giant coat also made of rats? (And yes, we intend to honor the original aesthetic of only using the right side of the screen for those sequences, simulating Daddano's point of view from behind the eyepatch.)
This is a great chance to utilize a lot of our regular Intrepid actors as well. Henry Thomas and @wilwheaton will play Lo Straniero's lost heirs, twin brothers who come to claim their birthright and "take out the trash" - literally - by infiltrating the criminal underworld as part of a cleaning crew.
Also, for the first time in Intrepid's history, we're wide open to ideas... if something inspires you, please put it in the comments. Together we can make the Next Greatest Mafia Ever Made Again (trademark Intrepid Pictures 2022).

Allow me to introduce myself. I don't think I'm gonna create a kickstarter campaign for it, but aside from that, I tend to write a script for a scene here and there.
In all seriousness how long until someone writes a script for Goncharov and starts a kickstarter campaign begging tumblr to give them money to film it for real
