"aww!" they said, "it's a flag!!"

but the thing is: they're little. a lot of them don't really have a handle on all their mouth sounds yet.

such as, notably, that tricky tricky "L" sound.

Shounen Laundry Washing Anime

I had a story concept from 2013 about laundry washing sports tournaments.

It follows the story about a young teenage boy with a passion for laundry delve into the world of washing competitions where he meets other people as passionate as he is. 

So I decided to make a screenshot parody of it because…why not? XD

I noticed you answered a question about an unexpected nest of construction workers outside someone's home. This morning there was a fire in my apartment complex, and the smoke attracted a large flock of firefighters. We were expecting them to fly over, do their usual rituals, and carry off the fire to eat later. The fire is gone now, and there's only water to deal with, but it looks like they've built a temporary nest in the parking lot and it's scaring off local symbiotic species (managers, caretakers, janitors, maintenance) while attracting parasitic visitors (cops, landlords, rubberneckers). Is there anything I can do to encourage the firefighters (loud and messy, but incredible plumage! so friendly!) to pack it up, so we can get rid of their toxic worsties?

Dysphoria (2025)

This is a repaint of an illustration I first posted right here on this account over a decade ago when I first transitioned. I did this for TDOV this year as a sort of 'then vs now' for myself more than anything. A lot has changed in a decade. I've changed.

A decade ago visibility felt like liberation, but today it feels like a target. A decade ago politicians made a lot of promises to us, and today they can't run away from us fast enough. A decade ago I was crashing out in a dysphoria spiral. Today, in spite of everything, I'm at peace with myself.

It's Pride Month in the States and the Trans community is going through it. Between the Skrmetti decision and the threat of HR1 stripping care from Trans people of ALL ages on Medicaid and ACA plans, Trans people need support more than ever. So I'm making this illustration available as a print in my shop (link in bio) and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Point of Pride, an organization dedicated to providing financial aid for transition care. I'll post receipts of funds donated at the end of the month. I'm aiming to raise at least $2000, as that's the amount needed to cover 12 months of telehealth services, prescription medications, lab work, and more for at least one trans person in need of HRT. Transition care really IS life saving, it saved MY life. I wouldn't have lived to make any of the art that people have told me they love so much. My whole portfolio, all my work over the years, none of it would exist. If my art has ever meant anything to you, please, help.

Strangers messaging you to donate to their fundraisers are scamming you with very, very few exceptions. Strangers trying to make you feel guilty ("you are killing my family, my pet will die without you, how dare you be happy when I'm suffering", etc) to make you donate to their fundraisers are not only scamming you, they are also manipulating you.

I've made a donation post before. In retrospect, it probably looked scammy because it was about a sick cat and my phone had corrupted some of the photos without me noticing so they looked strange or had black blocks (imagine how much that fucking hurt when I went to look for photos of my recently dead cat and discovered that most of them had been wrecked at some point). But I didn't go around sending anyone asks or DMs for help, I didn't @ anyone, nothing like that. Because that is SCAMMER BEHAVIOR. That is what BOTS do. The vast majority of real people actually asking for help do anything they can to avoid looking like bots.

Don't share fundraisers that random people put in your inbox. Definitely don't click any links in messages. The very slim chance of them being a legit human being who needs help you can provide is not worth the risk of your (or your followers') info getting stolen or your money being used to fund things like human trafficking and terrorist groups (because that is what scam farms are directly linked to).

Hey, I have a question, so a group of construction workers has recently built a nest outside my home and seem to want to spend the summer months there. They've already started construction on a project, so I assume they're healthy, but is there anything I can do to make sure they get the nutrition they need throughout the hot summer months? Do I need to have a steady supply of beer or energy drinks?

construction workers are expert foragers and don't take well to interruptions, so the best you can do is leave them be.

if you want to encourage them, however, you can spend three to four hours on the street watching their project with your hands clasped behind your back. this makes them feel like they are doing a good job

I've been doing a lot of thinking about my family and how I was treated as a child, and honestly, my father has never seemed more amazing in my eyes.

I used to love Luigi(Mario's brother) when I was little. Like, he was my favorite character ever, and I had multiple plushies of him. Didn't give a fuck about Mario, vaguely tolerated Peach, but I loved Luigi.

On my first day of kindergarten, my dad gave me the number for his work phone and said it was Luigi's phone number. "If anything happens at school, call Luigi."And not even twenty minutes into my first day, I was having a panic attack. So I went down to the principal's office and called "Luigi."

Now, at the time, my father was in a meeting with his manager and his supervisor, along with most of his coworkers. And when I called, he picked up before he even left the room.

And he put on a very awful Italian accent and said, "Itsa me, Luigi! Whatsa the matter?"In front of his boss and coworkers. Without telling them what was going on. So they were absolutely bewildered, and he carried on like they didn't even exist. He only explained what was happening after I had calmed down and hung up, to which most of them responded with "Aww, cute."

I continued to call him whenever I got upset at school, and eventually his coworkers got in on it. I distinctly remember one of them impersonating Toad. I don't know why I'm telling you this, I just thought it might make you smile :)
