What are Finnish sauna traditions?

Here's some 🫡🇫🇮 Including some basic sauna knowledge

Saunas aren't a luxury item in Finland, so many people own one in some way (my apartment building has a free communal sauna)

Public saunas are cheap

It's normal to sauna minimum once a week

Many holidays include sauna in some way (christmas sauna is a big part of finnish christmas culture)

Drinking alcohol in sauna is very normal (kids drink coke)

It's frowned upon to sauna wearing a towel/swimsuit, especially in public saunas

We have sauna hats we wear (not mandatory)

The Finnish way to sauna is to get the sauna as hot as possible, go outside and take dip in the lake (winter dips are the best), go back inside and repeat as long as you want
