Look, I know it's late, and I don't have much in the way of food, but I could order something. No. No, I should— I'm gonna go. Have a good night. You, too.

"You don't have to thank me, I want in the mood for something sugary and horrible for our A1C." The point of her fork pointed to the ceiling as she decided which piece of fruit she wished to skewer as she listened to Clementine's wild tale. There seemed no bound to the insanity that came with the blinding shine of fame. Clementine thrived in the glow; Lennon was happy to bask in the neon overcast. "Does his name rhyme with Myan Meynolds?" She questioned with a lifted brow.
"Or was it he should not be named?"
Stabbing her fork into her favorite cherry pie, Clementine stuffed the fruity concoction into her mouth. The sweetness of the cherries spilled onto her tongue and she released a low moan in happiness. A little wiggle accompanied her excitement. This was her favorite type of late nights. The ones where she was half drunk at her favorite diner with her bestie. "Yum yum." she sing- sunged after swallowing and licking her lips clean. "Thank you for suggesting this, Len. I would've probably stumbled home and eaten cold rice." Which really wasn't an exaggeration because that was all she had in her refrigeration. Picking up her coffee, she took a quick sip before returning her attention to the disheveled dessert on her plate.
"So..." she begin pretending to focus solely on the task of demolishing the pie. "Guess who I ran into last night at the Deadpool after party?"

"Will anything I do satisfy you?" Seokmin felt the space between his brow shrink in frustration at the flippant response that ebbed off of Matthew's lips; all with the same disapproving ease that grated on his nerves. "I don't show up, you're upset. I show up and you're upset. What will you make you happy, Matthew? Please enlighten me."
"Are you ever happy about anything these days?" Matt's features divulged how irritated he was with Soekmin. He'd dodged coming home for weeks and now he was displeased. "You should've told mom you were busy. That would've been easier to swallow than your attitude."

"I can't just stop seeing all of the fraying wallpaper and the missing ceiling panel," how did this place pass inspection? Seokmin's gaze fell to the puffed curves of her cheeks that seemed to glow in the soft rosiness that dusted her skin. A childish little chipmunk that radiate the soft beauty of aurora; the two identities sworn tightly to the same body that seemed to plague his thoughts. "...we may get food poisoning." His words hushed in tone but lighter than his aforementioned dismay.
Seokmin blinked through the rising heat in his ears at her hounding request. If she jiggled the spoon any harder, the perfect mound of well dressed rice would topple over with a heavy splash right into his water. He leaned over to accept her offering with an icy gaze. The popping flavor melting away his discontent at the ambiance. "Feed yourself. You've gotten skinnier since the last time I've seen you."
Both cheeks swelled from the sheer amount of rice she'd managed to cram beneath her incisors essentially neutralize any heat she expected to convey through her pinched pout. "I told you, don't focus on the exterior. Just eat," she grumbled, nose wrinkled in reprimand at his discontent.
"And it's not that bad, it's cozy. It's charming," her spoon was replenished with a generous mound of rice and then topped with the deliciously marinated side dishes to create the perfect bite - of which she proceeded to extend towards him. "Say ah. Come on, ah…ah….ahhhhh"

The dangerous allure of stepping through the omnipresent gates of curiosity usually ended poorly. Neither party usually shared the same level of satisfaction once the truth outshined their perceived fantasy. Taehyun worked happily on the fringe spending time with the small circle of people he had deemed safe. He didn't fear the world or the unknown; it was his gluttonous desire to know what lurked beyond that often led him astray. He allowed one snake into his precious garden and watched all of the things he loved wither in the blazing summer heat. With age, he had vowed to be even more reserved to preserve some semblance of order. She screamed dysfunction; yet, he continued to allow her to parade around the tight aisle without uttering a single peep. Why did he choose today to peel back the veil that separated them to comment on her smoldering gaze? Was it his own desire to look back that bored the fissures in his iron clade defense? "I see," he hummed. His eyes never strayed from his task before the cheekiness rang defiantly in his ears. " It's not my color," his own dry humor seeming to lighten. "..my hands are already full. I cannot see how your personality could add to the weight. You are interesting," Taehyun finally lifted his gaze to study her expression. "...do you have an interest in pharmaceutical practice? It's a lot of counting and irate customers. Not the best work for someone as upbeat as you."
Ella hadn't fathomed him noticing her frequent stop in's. Sometimes her visits were spontaneous. She needed this item or that. Other times, she stopped in to see the handsome pharmacist who seemed engulfed in his own secretive fantasizes. Her head tilted in further interest, her black hair falling over one shoulder effortlessly. She wasn't a shy woman -far from it- and because of her exuberant personality she'd come to learn her fair share about men. This one in particular was shy, that was evident in the way he paid close attention to his task instead of paying attention to her. However, his very detailed recap of her antics the day before made her realize she wasn't the only one observing him. There was...some type of interest there. It made her heart skip a beat and her lips widened showcasing her perfect teeth. This was one of her favorite part of the game. The catch. "How do you know I wouldn't wear the lip glosses I bought yesterday? I mean not only did they smell great, but they are so moisturizing for your lips," Stopping, she remembered she'd dropped one in her purse this morning. It took her thirty seconds flat to fetch it and hold it between them. "Here, you can try some if you want," And if he allowed her, she'd even apply it for him. A warmness started in her belly at the thought. She liked pretty things. Very much. "I'm not shy but you are," she stated in response. "I didn't want to scare you away because..." A pause as she thought of the best way to word what she wanted to say next. "I can be a handful."

There was nothing desirable about feeling on display. Every inch of him surveyed and formed into whatever opinion the viewer beheld. It's why Taehyun opted to spend his days in the chilling beige walls of a familiar, yet serene, sanctuary. It wasn't every day people stopped and ogled their pharmacist. It was a series of simple transactions that resulted in two things: a brief knowledge check and the betterment of another person's life. His white coat may not see action in a hospital but he liked to believe he helped save people's lives too. "Not usually but you seem to come in to "shop" more frequently than my normal customers. Yesterday, you looked at lip glosses that I bet you wouldn't dare put on. I just don't want you to waste your time if you want to talk to me. Just talk," his prim and proper gaze turning back to the waxy white bag he placed the order he was working on.
Ella's lips popped in response, and she smirked. It was true, she'd been eyeing him since her arrival but her eyes on him was nothing new. This was typical behavior for them. Since she'd entered, he'd be behind the counter with his perfect hair, and white coat looking like a snack. Taehyun was quite the treat. A treat she hoped to one day unwrap. Plopping her shopping basket on the counter, she leaned over nibbling on her bottom lip as she eyed all six feet of him. She had to make her intentions clear. As she did every time she stopped by. "What if I'm not..." She paused as her eyes tripped on the fullness of his lips. "Finished? I mean do you normally rush your customers when they're shopping? Or is just me you rush?"
