I'm so bored

School starts tomorrow and I honestly feel nothing. I remember always feeling this anxious build up for it either from excitement or dread. But now it's just like another thing I'm doing. Is this what growing up is? Just more of the things that used to seem so big becoming something you shrug at. The only real thing I look forward to now are the train rides I take to work, hoping to see some sort of critter or pretty landscape. Is that normal? Is this just the way it is and I'm just making a big deal out of nothing because I'm bored. Nothing interests me anymore, not my peers, not my classes, not anything. I feel like I'm just waiting around for things to happen and hoping to cross paths with something really interesting. I know I sound like a pretentious asshole that somehow thinks this is a singular experience, I know it definitely isn't. I just needed to write it down somewhere and put it on paper. I'm so bored with life. Please God, or Universe or whatever force of nature is out there, send me something worth thinking about.
