Hello can I ask about art advice? Specifically abou the way you put lightning. Like for example your latest KDC art, did you put the whole shadow + lightning first before rendering the character or did you render the character first before putting the lightning? If it's the second one, how do you make sure the colour of your render fit well with overall picture. Because everytime I tried to render first before putting dramatic lightning, the render colour almost always ended up either too saturated or desaturated, but if I try to put lightning first then render, I struggle with the rendering process because my eyes are too used to see the less dark colour when rendereing if than make any sense

Hi! my English is not very good, but I'll try to help! I always add the basic shadow and light first, to understand the feeling I want from the art before I start the details. I'll leave a little step by step tutorial here.

It's always better to go from the general to the specific - it will help you not to get hung up on the little things + increase the probability that your expectations will coincide with the result.

hiiiiiiiii!! thank you so much for your kind words) actually my pencil brush is one of the standard brushes in the original set of brushes from the krita. it's called “chalk soft”. besides it I only use the basic brush with pressure "basic-5 size" and "airbrush soft".
