This was a little gift for @neithy b-day. Actually I totally forgot to scan the drawing before sending her :'DThis is her awesome character Sû in her phenix version, I totally love her and wished to draw her this way for a long time! :3

Exsilium: Remnants by DameOdessa

Weel, that was not the composition I was planning to color first but... So here is a try for a new inking/lining style and a new coloring technique. I was looking for something very eye-catching with a comics feeling and most of all easier and faster ^^' I'm pretty happy how it turned out, it has a old school thingie I like a lot. Obviously, once again it features Rose and Val exploring an Atlantean sanctuary under the desert of Mazirka.

Exsilium by DameOdessa

This is a quick sketch featuring Rose and Val as tomb raiders which is quite honestly what could describe them the best. Rose is fascinated by ancient history, mostly when linked to alchemy, though she is a princess, she has no problem climbing, diving, fighting among dust and mud if necesseray. She loves exploring ruins, hidden temples and forgotten places.

val is… Val. What else. He is a teacher, always obsessed by his books, forgetting that there is a world outside the library, so usually Rose kidnaps him during her trips. But yes, even in tombs, Val has to be fancy (and to complain about how dangerous and dirty it is...)

Next illustration I’m working on.

As I’m not used to do a composition with many characters I’m presently just trying to get the proper effect, considering the different heights of the characters, the perspective (which will be a disaster as usual) the background etc etc...

So far this is more or less what I was expecting for this particular scene in which Zephaniah of Elysium meets Stephen Karsler in a place known as the Garden of Butterflies. Let see how the linart will look...

It is a bit early but I wish you a very happy birthday, dear @the-phantasmagoria Here is your lovely Empress Pearl, such a fantastic character, so deeply moving, both strong and delicate, cute and majestic. Drawing her hair was blissful, thank you for creating such an awesome lady <3
