Visual Design from Pinterest.
The visual design inspires me because it portrays different aspects of visual communication. It exposes texture, colours, size , orientation and value, all in one image.
The rough texture is used as the background and blends in well with all the colours of the visual presentation.
The image uses different colours to define the aspects of the image. One can clearly spot the sunset, the hills, the path and the direction from the hill downwards.
Value and orientation contrast is also seen in the circles.

Art by Stay True.
I was particularly drawn to the picture by the blend of the two colours; grey from the roots of the hair, dark grey on the face and yellow on the stands of the hair and teeth.
The colours portray a sense of warmth, joy and fullness of life. The art also utilizes use of texture to creatively expose the wrinkles. The yellow teeth compliments the smile.
The addition of the black specs compliments the whole face as it brings the eyes into a shaper focus.

The third one shows the orientation of Size by use rectangles and different colours to bring life in the image.
The fourth is texture contrast by use of two beautiful colours and one shape.
Lastly, I we have Value contrast. I chose to use circles with different versions of one colour.

A friend shared this picture of the Northern Lights, full of vibrant colours. The magnificent picture reflects the beauty of nature through different colour contrasts. The wave like patterns is magical, it creates a sense of warmth. At a closer look, the stars are seen through bringing a aspect of renewal.

The serene scene of two bulls with a young girl in a peaceful sunset evoke a sense of tranquillity and nostalgia, transporting you to a simpler time and space. I took the picture, one evening five years ago while visiting my grandmother. The visual expression of the two bull seemingly closer to the setting sun expresses attachment, love, calmness and optimism. The orange colour of the sunset, the black on the ground and the colours of the cumulus clouds complements each other nicely bringing out a scenic visual composition.
On the other hand, the young girl standing tall in black brings out the aspect of loneliness yet hopefulness.
I am inspired by this photo as it visually expresses time, space and nature.
