###Geography### Artika encompasses the entire arctic region. It consists of icy tundra covering northern Eurish, Yurashia, and Northamer, and the frozen arctic ocean. The only exception to this are a few volcanic areas, mostly islands, where the natural heat and volcanic soil allows for scraggily plants to take hold. There may or may not be scattered islands hidden under the arctic ice sheet, as the ocean under the frozen sea has only been partially mapped.
###History### Much of Artika's History exists only as oral tradition and hearsay. What is known for sure about Artika's early history is that the population flourished during the Hyperborean era and has been in steady decline ever since. Very little is known about the period prior to the Hyperborean era, with only a handful of Pre-Hyperborean gravesites discovered and very little archeological evidence other than bone fragments. Pottery and wood fragments dating from the Hyperborean era indicate intermittent trade between the peoples of Artika and the Hyperboreans.
Following the collapse of the Hyperboreans, contact between Artika and Eurish declined to nothing until the colonial period. Most historical records from this time period are some variant of oral tradition, or rarely, whalebone engravings. Of particular note from this era is a series of epic poems from all over Artika which seem to refer to a lost tribe somewhere in the North-Amerian portion of Artika. Due to the consistency between these poems despite the extreme geographical distance, it is believed that the story and the tribe mentioned are historical fact, although the exact details are fuzzy at best. Around 695 years ago, contact between Artika and Eurish was reestablished following expeditions by Eurish fishermen and whalers. Over the next 600 years, the tribes of Artika would be either incorperated into Eurish colonial possessions (and later the United Federation, under "more favorable" terms) or else driven further north. For the tribes driven northward, a severe lack of resources and food supply would lead to intense territorialism and an ongoing state of conflict which exists to this day.
As it stands today, Artika is a fairly inhospitable land with a balkanized and highly militarized society.

###Society and Culture### Tribal Hierarchy -  Many tribes in Artika possess a rigid tribal hierarchy, with a strong man usually taking the lead.  Some tribes, however, have taken to a more democratic form of government, where tribal leaders are elected on an annual basis. It should be noted that these democratic tribes predate Eurish involvement in Artika and are believe to have developed independently from outside influence.
Wiugla Andiwa (Ugla Andi - owl spirit) - An epic poem describing a violent tribe or tribes once feared throughtout Artika. Some versions describe members of the tribe as cannibalistic, others as merely violently xenophobic. Some versions have been passed down as fairy tales to keep misbehaving children in line or caution them from wandering too far from their village.
###Factions### United Federation - The United Federation in Artika consists mostly of nominally aligned tribes and a few small cities in the southern regions. Additionally, GUN possesses a few airstrips in Artika, mostly near the border with Eurish.
Artika Egg Army - Dr. Eggman's Army in Artika. Provides a safe haven for the Doctor beyond the reach of the United Federation's Navy as well as reliable access to crude oil.

###Locations### Holoska - A fair-sized city in the Northamerian part of Artika. Generally considered the regional capital of the United Federation in Artika. Shares its name with the surrounding territory of Holoska, although much of the territory is uninhabited outside of the city itself and a few minor fishing villages.
Artika Egg Army Base - A large Airbase and monitoring station used to cement Dr. Eggman's control over much of Artika and its vast oil reserves. Often used by the Doctor to test experimental aircraft away from prying eyes.
Artika Egg Army Oil Refinery - The Egg Army's second largest crude oil refinery. Used to refine oil drilled from the Artic Ocean by the Northern Oceans Egg Army.
Artika Egg Army EWS Facility - An Over-the-horizon early warning Radar facility used by the egg army to protect the Doctor's assets in Artika and Avalon.
Northern Oceans Egg Army Oil Platforms - A series of Oil Rigs operated by the Northern Oceans Egg Army which drill oil out of the ocean floor.

On to the capital of the United Federation!
########### #Northamer# ###########
###Geography### Northamer is a continent in the Northern Hemisphere, located north of the tropics. Its climate includes rocky deserts, swamps, bayou,  huge mountain ranges, vast plains, and endless woodlands.
###History### As with its southern neighbor, Northamer is a land who's history remains mostly buried, waiting to be uncovered. Some of the earliest known inhabitants of Northamer built a settlement now known as the Desert Ruins, dating back at least 5000 years and probably many more. The reasons as to why this settlement was abandoned remain a mystery, and no obvious causes present themselves. The ruins show no sign of conflict, nor any evidence of starvation, as the granaries at the site are still filled with preserved grain. The site also has several intact wells, and archeological evidence elsewhere suggests that the water table in the region was high enough for the wells to still be functional at the time. Disease is also unlikely, due to a lack of remains at or near the site.
Several centuries after this mysterious disappearance, the last evidence of trade with Soumerica disappears as well, indicating the end of what appears to have been a thriving trade network stretching all the way to the legendary city of Manoa. This may have had something to do with the following period of desertification which saw much of the farmland in the southwest of the continent turn to rocky desert and scrubland over the next few centuries. Strangely, there was a brief period about 4000 years ago when this process reversed. The exact cause of this is still unknown, but it is known that it was accompanied by flooding along much of the coast, as evidenced by fossils found a ways inland, dating back to the period.
Oral traditions from the southwest region tell that around 350 years after the flooding, strange foreigners began arriving on the western coast, bringing with them "light silver" and heading southward, disappearing into Soumerica. There is currently no evidence yet discovered of these groups in Soumerica, nor did they leave any evidence behind in Northamer. Following this is the Dark Ages, a period with very little surviving in the way of oral traditions or other records. The last known historical record from before this period was a poem and corroborating archeological evidence of a major war among many tribes in Northamer, particularly in the east, which resulted in the destruction of at least one major city or trading center.
While the historical record picks up again around 1200 years ago, the next major well-documented event was the arrival of Eurish explorers on the eastern coast. These explorers mention that while  they came across many grand wood-structured towns, they appeared somewhat empty for their size, at about one person per building or less in the worst cases. While it is almost certain that the cause of this was known at the time, subsequent conflicts have destroyed any oral traditions which may have preserved this information, and the Eurish explorers apparently never bothered to ask or at least never bothered writing it down or mentioning it if they did.
A few centuries later, as the monarchies of the Eurish kingdoms began to weaken, resulting in conflict and expansionism in order to maintain their rule. Soon after, Eurish colonists set out for Northamer, settling first on the eastern coast, then moving inland before halting, heading along the southern coast, and crossing to the western coast via the northern tip of Soumerica. As a result of this, many major cities in Northamer are on or near the coast, including Central City and Empire City.
Following the sever weakening of the Eurish monarchies around 425 years ago, many of their colonies in Northamer were able to petition for independence or simply break away with no one to stop them. After a peaceful co-existence for most of a century, most of the former colonies in Northamer joined together to form the precursor to the United Federation about 300 years ago. Following this, the United Federation was founded about 250 years ago between its precursor and several still-independent states.  Over the next century, the United Federation would expand further into Soumerica and then into Eurish, following the power vacuum left by the failing monarchies. Following this, the United Federation adopted a more imperialistic approach, moving into Yurashia, Trallius, and Efrika.
Sixty-Eight years ago, the United Federation began construction of a massive space station, publicly for advanced scientific research, but secretly for clandestine, "ethically questionable" projects. The main construction of the space station lasted for two years, with the station laboratories becoming fully operational 65 years ago. Project: Shadow began 60 years ago, and the Space Colony Ark incident occurred about 50 years ago. The so-called "accident" caused significant political upheaval in the United Federation, with both public outcry about the government's (lack of) competency and rumors of corner-cutting and unnecessary risk-taking, as well as privately for those in-the-know whom had disapproved of the heavy-handed tactics of GUN. In turn, this would cause a regime change in GUN and a series of reforms over the next 50 years and several administrations.
Following the accident and political instability, the United Federation pulled out of Trallius, leaving the continent semi-lawless. The UF also adopted a more diplomatic approach to political matters, reducing its use of military and economic pressure to intervene in foreign affairs and instead working with foreign nations more openly. The larges and most radical reforms to GUN began with the appointment of Abraham Tower to the position of commander of GUN. A victim of the Space Colony Ark incident, Commander Tower understood full well the need to reform both GUN's internal culture and its public image. So far, he has mostly been successful, although there are still some holdouts of the old guard.
Most recently, Dr. Eggman has established several bases on the continent, mostly towards the interior to keep them safe from GUN, but also to exploit the poverty in the interior regions of the continent to build his army. These include both the Northamer Egg Army and several facilities directly under his control, such as 'Metropolis'.

###Society and Culture### Tribes - The interior of Northamer (that doesn't fall under the Eggman Empire) is controlled by various tribes. Most of these tribes are very poor and make for easy targets of the Doctor, but most refuse to be incorporated into the United Federation due to misgivings about the UF's past behavior.
Corruption - The United Federation has had to deal with rather high levels of corruption over the past century, although this has been getting better under more recent presidential administrations.
Entertainment - Northamer is home to the world's biggest media companies. As a result, many of its cultural traditions and trends have been adopted around the globe.
###Factions### United Federation - The United Federation in Northamer is a centralized federal republic, serving as the core of the United Federation and home to its capital, Central City. It is the only major nation in Northamer and accounts for most of the continent's economy. While it lays claim to the entire continent, in reality it only controls the coasts and the interior leading down to Soumerica. The economic disparity between the United Federation proper and the rest of Northamer is one of the larges in the world.
Northamer Egg Army - Recently formed, the Northamer Egg Army is comprised mostly of those desperate enough to join, drawing either individuals or formerly independent tribes from the impoverished interior of the continent. As such it is one of the least loyal factions of the Egg Army, kept in line mostly through fear and manipulation.
Eggman Empire - The Eggman Empire has a direct presence in Northamer, mostly consisting of R&D and production of mechanical troops as well as secondary command and control after whichever mobile fortress the Doctor is using this month. The is mostly located in and around the city/base of Metropolis.
###Locations### Central City -The capital of the United Federation. Built on the hills surrounding the golden bay, Central City is a massive, sprawling urban center, and the second largest in Northamer. The old town is located on the south end of the strait, and is a major tourist destination, with many monuments and museums.
Westopolis - A major economic center, Westopolis was badly damaged recently, but is recovering quite well. Currently, crime, particularly organized crime, is on the up tick and several criminal syndicates call this lakeside city home.
GUN Headquarters - Headquarters of the Guardian Unit of Nations, the United Federation's military. Not much is publicly known about the Headquarters, other than that it is located in the suburbs of central city and its activities are highly classified.
GUN Fortress - A massive hardened military base out in the desert, a lot of GUN's R&D goes on here. Rumored to house aliens and UFOs.
Empire City - The largest city in Northamer and the finance capital of the world. Home to major financial institutions, media corporations, a thriving theater scene, and people from all corners of the globe. If it can happen, it can happen here.
Northamer Egg Army Base - A remote subterranean bunker, the Northamer Egg Army base was intended to serve as resource extraction, but the need to camouflage the base to keep it hidden from GUN means that it now mostly serves as a listening post and (supposedly) force projection and recruitment in the Northamer interior.
Metropolis Base - A major R&R, manufacturing and secondary command and control for the Eggman Empire. Usually administered by an overseer when the doctor is abroad (which is most of the time), Metropolis is considered too important to be autonomous. One of the main supply sources for the Egg Armies. Very difficult to attack, both due to location and extremely heavy defences.

########## #Yurashia# ##########
###Geography### Yurashia is a large and diverse continent located mostly in the northern hemisphere which connects to Eurish and Midesta in the west and is just north of Tralius. Its climate ranges from dry hot deserts, to lush tropical jungles, vast steppe, huge mountain ranges, numerous islands, and endless forests. [If a location in Yurashia has geographic details that need to be filled in, feel free to substitute Central or East Asian geography to suit your needs. Try to avoid the parts of Asia that would constitute the Middle East, though.]
###History### Unlike most of the world, Yurashia has the opposite problem when it comes to its recorded history. As opposed gaps in the historical record, Yurasia has historical texts to spare. It just happens that theses texts often contradict each other and make it difficult to determine the truth of what actually happened. This is mostly due to the historically balkanized nature of Yurashia. Only the information from generally reliable sources will be included here, although this does not guarantee their accuracy or truthfulness. Please note that most of the dates listed here prior to 1000 y.a. are inaccurate at best.
Some time after the traditional founding date for the Chunnese Empire, the First Imperial Dynasty was founded by Emperor Huang of the Yellow Dragon Clan [Note on China: Huanglong being the yellow dragon, an incarnation of the yellow emperor]. Emperor Huang was traditionally the first to successfully unify Chu-nan, although modern skeptics believe that in this case the old Chu-nan referred to a much smaller area than its modern counterpart. Sometime thereafter, the city of Chu-nan was founded as a capital of the empire. Sources on the location vary, as the modern city of Chu-nan lacks any of the described features of the first city in any of the consistent accounts. As a result of this, it is believed that the city was moved at some point during the second or third imperial dynasties to its current location.
After the end of the first imperial dynasty, the Chunnese empire descended into a brief period of civil war, also called the Wars of Summer and Autumn, in which several powerful clans from the West and South of the Chunnese Empire fought for control of the imperial throne. In the end, the southern clans won the war, but curiously, the second imperial dynasty was founded by a member of one of the western clans. It was during the Second dynasty that the famous general, Changquing, wrote his military treatise on the
nature of war. This treatise is perhaps to most famous surviving document from that period.
About 3800 years ago, the second dynasty came to an abrupt end with the premature death of the emperor. Without any legitimate heirs, the Chunnese empire entered into the interregnum period, during which the imperial bureaucracy was expanded in order to maintain stability in the leaderless empire. Following the interregnum, the third imperial dynasty was founded by an election from the ranks of the nobility. The third dynasty continued the bureaucratic expansion and initiated several public works projects, possibly including the construction of a canal, although this is still under debate by scholars. At the end of the third dynasty, a famine struck Chu-nan which resulted in a revolt against the emperor. This revolt immediately fractured the Chunnese Empire into several smaller states, lead by various nobility which each claimed to be the legitimate successor to the third dynasty. Thus began the warring states period.
Towards the end of the warring states period, the Northern Lake Clan managed to take control of most of the empire. However, none of the other nobility would recognize their claim on the imperial throng, so the head of the Northern Lake Clan declared himself ruler, but not emperor, thus beginning what would be called the Rule of Winter. The Rule of Winter would see peace and stability return to Chu-nan, although this would not last. Many of the nobility despised the military dictatorship and the Northern Lake Clan.
About 1680 years ago, the assassination of the last leader of the Northern Lake Clan would end the military dictatorship and return Chu-nan to the warring states period once more.
Finally, at the end of the Warring States period the Fourth and final Imperial Dynasty was founded. The exact origin of the fourth dynasty are unclear, but it is believed that it was the result of a merging of several noble families through selective political marriage to increase their claim on the throne. Shortly after the founding of the fourth imperial dynasty, Eurish merchants made (direct) contact with Chu-nan and began to open up trade ventures in several port cities. This early period in the fourth dynasty would be marked by economic growth, increased trade, the expansion of the imperial bureaucracy yet again, and the founding of what would eventually become the University at Chu-nan as the Imperial Library and Archives. Many important chunnese literary works were written during this period and there was an increase in overall literacy and education.
The late period of the fourth dynasty would marked by waning imperial power and colonization of several important port cities by foreign powers. In an attempt to reverse the decline of imperial power, the second-to-last emperor of Chu-nan would expel the foreign colonists and attempt to expand the military and battle corruption in the now bloated Imperial bureaucracy. The military expansion created further corruption and allowed powerful generals within the army to become warlords unto themselves. This would lead to the collapse of the Chunnese Empire and the end of the fourth dynasty under the last emperor. This would bring about the warlord era, in which generals of the former imperial army would fight over territory for sixty or so years.
At the end of the warlord era, Chu-nan would fracture into smaller and smaller territories. They would mostly be divided between city-states, such as Chu-nan, and rural territories under the control of various clans and warlords. This balkanization would lead to much of Yurashia being in a constant state of conflict, with clashes between rival clans and roving warlord bands robbing and murdering across the countryside. As a result of this instability, many of the city-statues, including Chu-nan, would join the United Federation for both the protection and trade it brought. In recent years, Dr. Eggman has taken advantage of the situation to establish the Yurashian Egg Army.

###Society and Culture### In terms of culture, it is important to distinguish between East and South-Central Yurashia. South-Central Yurasian society is more closely united, but also more stratified, while on the East side of the continent things are more sectarian, but there are fewer caste-like restrictions on a person's lot in life.
East Yurashian culture places a heavy emphasis on loyalty to the family.
###Factions### United Federation - The United Federation in Yurashia controls several major cities in Chu-nan as well as South-Central Yurashia and most islands off the coast of the mainland. Much of the interior of Chu-nan remains divided between the warlords and clans. Stabilizing Chu-nan is a priority for the United Federaion, but the situations in Avalon and Midesta have siphoned resources away, leaving much of the country to fend for itself.
Warlords - The warlords are mostly brigands. While they may have originated from the imperial army, they are more like roving criminal gangs than armies at this point.
Currently  they are enemies with all other factions, The United Federation, the clans, athe Eggman Empire, and each other.
Clans - There are numerous clans scattered across Yurashia, mainly divided along ethnic lines. Most are neutral in the ongoing conflicts, preferring to look after their own, although they do occasionally clash with one-another. For this reason, it is generally frowned upon to trespass into another clan's territory, as it could be seen as an act of aggression.
Shijin Warriors - A small faction set up in opposition to the Egg Army, the Shijin Warriors are trying to bring an end to the clan factionalism in Chu-nan and drive off Dr. Eggman. They have had little success so far.
Yurashia Egg Army - Formed out of several clans, the Yurashian Egg Army acts as the Doctor's presence in Yurashia. The Yurashian Egg Army acts with a higher degree of autonomy than many of the other Egg Armies, to the point of only nominally representing the Empire. For the most part, their gains ore for their benefit, with only the occasional operation ordered by the Doctor to benefit his wider plans. The Yurashian Egg Army is somewhat smaller than average, acting more as a special forces unit than a conventional fighting force. There is a suspicion that the Yurashian Egg Army, once powerful enough and no longer in need of the Doctor's resources, might try to split off from the empire, given the right opportunity.
###Locations### Chun-Nan (City) - The former capital of the Chunnese Empire, Chu-nan is currently the largest city in Yurashia under the control of the United Federation. In addition to a thriving economy and thousands of years of history, the city is home to the University at Chu-nan, one of the oldest and most famous Universities in Yurashia and a grand center of learning.
Adabat - A moderately-sized fishing village on the southern coast of South-Central Yurashia. Outside of Chu-nan and part of the United Federation, fishing and tourism make up most of the local economy.
Yurashia Egg Army Base - Hidden in the Chu-nan countryside, the original Yurashian Egg Army base was more of a castle than a military compound. When the original was burned to the ground, the Army constructed a new base which is larger and more spread-out, resembling a monastery now more than a castle. The base also acts as a home for the clan.

Here’s another location, this time it’s Soumerica. Tried to include a nice little bit that could be used as the basis for a fanfic, if anyone wanted to.

###Geography### Soumerca is a continent located mostly in the southern hemisphere, with the bulk of the landmass located in the tropics. Its climate ranges from dry hot deserts, to lush tropical rainforests, great prairie lands, and even snowcapped mountains. [If a location in Soumerca has geographic details that need to be filled in, feel free to substitute Central and South American geography to suit your needs.]
###History### Much of the history of Soumerica remains to be discovered, and its dense jungles and scorching deserts hide many secrets. The history of Soumerica can be divided into two periods, pre and post contact with Eurish colonizers.
The most well-known of the pre-contact civilizations were the echidnas tribes which dominated the north of the continent over 4000 years ago. Much of what is left of their civilization has been swallowed up by the jungle, only a fraction of which has been uncovered by archeologists. One of the more famous examples being the Mystic Ruins, the remnants of the capital or city-state of what has been dubbed the "Knuckles Group" or "Knuckles Clan".  Artifacts traced to the group abruptly disappear from the record about 4000 years ago. There is still ongoing debate about the nature of their disappearance, although it is believed to be related to the origin of the floating island.
Further south lies the legendary city of Manoa, where the archeological record stretches back some 8000 years. Until recently, it was believed that Manoa was only a folk tale, inspired by the great wealth of the local rules. The city itself was discovered to be an ancient fortress located high in the mountains and hidden beneath the snow. Excavation of the site is ongoing. Curiously, some carvings found within what is believed to be a religious structure indicate that the legendary wealth may have actually existed, coming from mines now deep in the jungle, but was mostly exported for food due to the lack of arable land surrounding Manoa. Gold, Silver and precious Gems are believed to have been the bulk of the Manoan wealth, as large amounts of these precious materials have been found in surrounding regions, which would explain the especially high concentration of gems found in the north, a region with very few natural gem deposits.
Starting around 600 years ago, the Eurish kingdoms began to colonize the coast of Soumerica. Most of these Eurish settlements operated as trading posts in order to export the vast wealth of the continent back to Eurish in order to prop up the struggling kingdoms. It was during this time that many of the larger Soumerican cities were founded, including Station Square. Around 425 to 400 years ago, many of these colonies gained independence, mostly thanks to the severe weakening and even collapse of some Eurish monarchies.
About 250 years ago, the united Federation was founded. Initially it only included the northern territories of Soumerica, centered around Station Square, but it soon expanded into the rest of the continent along the coast. The more deeply inland regions were left to the control of local groups and tribes.As time progressed the coastal regions grew prosperous under the United Federation, while the more inland regions stagnated with poverty and joblessness becoming a major issue. In recent years, Dr. Eggman has exploited this issue to form the Soumerica Egg Army.

###Society and Culture### Ancient Culture - Soumerica has many ancient ruins and other cultural sites hidden throughout its vast jungles. The most famous of these are the Mystic Ruins, the center for the ancient echidna culture, and Manoa, the fabled golden peak, a glittering city which ruled over much of the southern part of the continent. The echidna culture at the mystic ruins is believed to have worshiped several deities, most prominently a serpent-deity believed to be a water god, based on carvings found within their temple. The Manoans are believed to have worshipped a sun-god in the form of a bird.
Tourism - Many of the tropical seaside towns and cities throughout Soumerica enjoy large amounts of tourism from Northamer and even Eurish. Unfortunately, the latest conflict with Dr. Eggman has reduced tourist travel from Yurashia, hruting the tourist industry in many places, mostly along the pacific coast.
###Factions### United Federation - The United Federation in Soumerica controls most of the coast of Soumerica, but very little of the interior. Most urban centers in Soumerica are part of the United Federation.
Soumerica Egg Army - Dr. Eggman's Army in Soumerica. About average sized, but not as well disciplined as some of the other Egg Armies, the Soumerican Egg Army is primarily charged with maintaining the Doctor's control over the interior of the continent, although it also assists the Doctor in his search for various ancient relics purported to be hidden throughout the continent. Prior to its formation, some of its earliest members had assisted the Doctor previously by providing him with information leading to his discovery of chaos.
###Locations### Station Square - A thriving metropolis of over 2.8 million, Station Square is one of the largest cities in Soumerica. Its diverse economy includes tourism, gambling and entertainment, finance, shipping, and hi-tech sectors. Originally a trading post built to export local riches, Station Square is conveniently near the Mystic Ruins.
Mystic Ruins - The most prominent remnants of the once-great echidna civilization. Its main features include the Central Temple Complex, believed to be the heart of the city, and the nearby cliffs, which are unusually to the temple.
Harbor Heights - A small seaside resort town in the United Federation, located north of Station Square. A popular tourist destination, on which the local economy is based.
Soumerca Egg Army Base - The Soumerica egg army is actually distributed across a fair amount of the continent. The main Soumerica Egg Army base is located deep in the Rainforest, along with other outposts and archeological sites.
Manoa - An ancient mountaintop city, long thought to be just a legend. It was once the center of an empire whose influence extended across the continent. Large amounts of gold and silver artifacts were discovered at the site and were promptly transferred to various universities and museums throughout the United federation,  although some Manoan artifacts  have turned up on the black market. ###Geography### Efrika is a continent straddling the equator directly south of Eurish and connected only to Midesta. Northern Efrika is coverd by vast deserts, while the south ranges from tropical jungle to savanna and temperate shrubland. [If a location in Efrika has geographic details that need to be filled in, feel free to substitute African geography to suit your needs.]
###History### As the earliest inhabited continent, the history of Efrika stretches back to time immemorial. Unfortunately, most of that history has been lost to the ages, with only a scant bit of the more recent past left in the form of ancient ruins and oral traditions. One of the most interestig and famous of these beig the Great Pyramids in the north of the continent. While research on the subject suggests a glorious past, recent history has been less kind to the continent.
Geological records suggest volcanic activity as recent as a millennia ago in the eastern part of the continent. Preliminary surveys indicate that this may have resulted in the destruction and burial of several cities in the region. Unfortunately, ongoing conflict in the region has prevented further excavations of these sites. This volcanic activity is also believed to have lead to a drought in the region which would have further weakened the civilizations in the area.
Extreme drought throughout most of the continent during the past century created severe agricultural problems, including a dustbowl effect in central and east Efrika. While the drought itself may have ended a decade ago, the economic damages persist.  This has created a state of lawlessness throughout much of the continent, particularly in the wild east. This has lead to the rise of various militias and armed gangs across the continent, particularly in more rural areas not under the united federation's protection.
Recently, Dr. Eggman has taken advantage of the situation and incorperated one of the largest of these gangs into the Eggman Empire as the Efrika Egg Army.

###Society and Culture### The Great Pyramids - Ancient pyramids constructed in the desert in the north of Efrika. The exact purpose of these structures remains unknown. Although they are believed to function partially as a necropolis, their size and the extensive interior suggest that they may have had other uses, perhaps as a temple, as altar-like structures seem to be present within some of the chambers.
###Factions### United Federation - The United Federation is primarily centered around the north and west of the continent, including Mazuri. The north is heavily fortified to secure southern Eurish from attacks and to prevent the more developed regions in west Efrika from being partially cut off from the rest of the United Federation, while the west contains many important economic and cultural centers that are key to the region.
Efrika Egg Army - Dr. Eggman's Army in Efrika. Larger than most of the other "franchised"  egg armies, the Efrika Egg Army's primary duty is the conquest of Efrika in the name of the Eggman Empire. The Army does this primarily through the use of hit-and-run tactics to destabilize an already unstable region, which results in unrest leading to many joining the army's ranks in order to seek safety and stability. Most units in the Efrika Egg Army are motorized or mechanized, in contrast to most other Egg Army units which are mainly comprised of foot infantry. While this is partially a holdover from their pre-eggman days, it is also a necessity in order to effectively assert control over the continent, given its massive size.
###Locations### Mazuri - an ancient center of commerce and education. While currently recovering from the drought and strife, it remains a major center of learning on the continent. The university at Mazuri possesses many ancient manuscripts dating back millennia, making it one of the oldest such collections in the world. Mazuri is also known for its goldsmithing, with many traditional goldsmiths still operating in its market district.
Efrika Egg Army Base - Contains a large motor pool and maintenance garage. One of the larger Egg Army bases and the main base for the continent.

###Geography### Eurish is a continent in the Northern Hemisphere which directly connects to Midesta to the South-East and Yurasia to the East. Most of Eurish is covered in farmland and forests, with the main exception being the Soleanna Desert. The climate ranges from warm and mild in the south, to frigid artic in the far north. Outside of the desert and the far north, most of Eurish is temperate with moderate rainfall or snowfall year-round. [If a location in Eurish has geographic details that need to be filled in, feel free to substitute European geography (maybe moved around a bit) to suit your needs.]
###History### Eurish has been extensively inhabited since pre-history, with many great ancient civilizations calling it home. Many of its most famous cities date back to this time period, including Apotos and Spagonia, among others. Many of the ruins of these civilizations remain and can still be seen throughout southern and south-eastern Eurish, particularly in the region around Apotos and its neighboring cities. Much of the specific details of this point in history are unknown and research into the era is still ongoing. What is known is that the old city-state of Apotos was founded about 5500 y.a. and was located where the current city of Apotos stands today. From this city-state came the Arcadian civilization, which many Eurish kingdoms claim some sort of heritage or relation to. Between about 2900 y.a. to about 2300 y.a., the Arcadian civilization would expand across all but the northern most reaches of Eurish. About 2200 y.a. the Arcadian civilization came to an abrupt end, the details of which are unknown.
One contemporary civilization to the Arcadians, dubbed the Hyperboreans by archeologists, were known to have lived throughout northern Eurish, as well as mountainous regions in the south in isolated pockets. Very little is known about them, and what is known is confusingly anachronistic.
After the fall of the Arcadians, Eurish entered into a long period of upheaval (the Early Mesaionas Period) which lasted roughly 500 years, during which many of Eurish's kingdoms were formed. There was significant immigration from Efrika, Midesta, and Yurashia during this time as well. It was during this time that the Kingdom of Soleanna was founded and construction of Old Soleanna Castle began (construction which would continue with expansions and renovations throughout the Mesaionas Period).
Following the centuries of warfare and territorial expansion of the many kingdoms, Eurish began to enter a period of stability starting about 1700 y.a. and lasting again for about 500 years. This is called the Central Mesaionas Period. In contrast to the Early Mesaionas Period, the Central Mesaionas Period was relatively peaceful and saw much political, economic and social development. It was during this time period that many of the great old universities were founded, including Spagonia University among others.
It was also during this period that the Six Great Noble Houses were created from the various marriage alliances among the many smaller noble and royal houses which preceded them. The creation of the Six Houses and the agreements and pacts between them lead to the golden age of the noble houses, a period of about 150 years without any major wars in Eurish.
During the golden age, the six noble houses amassed considerable wealth and power.  With no one to threaten their power in Eurish, the six houses took the opportunity to expand their realms into Midesta. The attempted conquest of Midesta would occur of the next 172 years and would result in a critical loss for the six houses. The first campaign lasted 30 years and resulted in the six houses establishing a substantial foothold in western Midesta. The second campaign, which began 40 years after the first ended and lasted 34 years, saw Shamar fall to the six houses. By the time the second campaign ended over a century had passed since the start of the first campaign, and another 16 years would pass before the beginning of the third campaign. By this time, almost all of the veterans of the first two campaigns, including the Eurish kings, were either dead or retired, leaving mostly inexperienced troops and overconfident lords. While the third campaign succeeded in securing the six houses' existing hold on western and central Midesta, it failed to expand their control and cost a fortune for little in return. To try and make up for these losses, the Eurish lords began the fourth campaign 12 years later, failing in all their objectives. After 16 years of war and with nothing to show for it, the six houses began to face increasing unrest at home. To distract from their failures in the fourth campaign and calls by some for the kings to abdicate, the six great houses launched the fifth campaign 2 years after the end of the fourth. Lasting only 4 years, the fifth campaign was an abysmal failure which saw much of the territory gained during the second campaign lost. Immediately following this was a counter-campaign by the Midesta forces which drove the six houses out of Midesta over the next 8 years.
Following their defeat, many of the kings of the six great houses either abdicated and fled or were deposed and executed. In Apotos, the monarchy was completely abolished and replaced with the old democracy.  After 8 or so years of turmoil, Eurish began to settle down and entered the Late Mesaionas Period.
While the Late Mesaionas Period was not as stable as the golden age, the change in the status quo created room for free thinkers and social development. This in turn lead to a period of intermittent colonization where many Eurish kingdoms would establish colonies along the coasts of Northamer, Soumerica, Tralius, and on many pacific islands. Most of these colonies would end up becoming independent and integrate with local communities a few decades after each of them were founded. One exception to this was the Kingdom of Acorn, which had been established on a series of uninhabited islands in the south pacific.
The industrial period began about 450 y.a. in Eurish. During this period, the power of the six houses would be reduced further and many monarchies would be replaced with republics. Industrialization in Eurish would last for about 250 years, leading directly to the modern period. Following its founding in Northamer, the United Federation expanded into Eurish about 150 y.a., with most Eurish nations joining the UF over the next few years. A few kingdoms, such as Soleanna and Avalon, would remain independent.
Over the next 50 years, the UF would try to destabilize the independent Eurish kingdoms in order to weaken them and then coerce them into joining the UF.  While this was successful in smaller states, larger kingdoms such as Soleanna and Avalon were able to remain fully independent despite the UF's attempts at destabilization. 122 y.a., the last king of Avalon died under suspicious circumstances, widely believed to be the result of a botched coup attempt by the United Federation. In the last 50 years, the United Federation has worked to mend its relations with the independent kingdoms of Eurish.
In recent years Dr. Eggman has established a heavily fortified enclave in Avalon, acting as the main base for his Eurish operations and the only major threat to the united federation in Eurish.

Very few members survive, with most modern descendants being considered either illegitimate or commoners (a 'thin' bloodline).
###Factions### United Federation - The United Federation in Eurish is composed of a mixture of republics and constitutional monarchies. Its territory covers most of Eurish, with the notable exceptions of the Kingdom of Soleanna, with which it has good relations, and the Kingdom of Avalon, which it is at war with.
Kingdom of Soleanna - The Kingdom of Soleanna is a small, independent kingdom on the coast in south-Eastern Eurish, just north-west of Apotos. The kingdom currently enjoys good relations with its neighbors and a stable economy.
Avalon Egg Army - Dr. Eggman's Army in Eurish. Claims to be the legitimate Kingdom of Avalon, which is contested both internally and externally. Slightly more independent than many of the other Egg Armies. Mostly just a garrison for the Eggman Empire in Eurish, although it has helped with some of Dr. Eggman's archeological research in the region.
###Locations### Apotos - A large, pastoral port city in the United Federation, located in south-eastern Eurish. Famous for its ancient Arcadian ruins. Capital of the Apotos Republic.
Soleanna - Capital of the Kingdom of Soleanna, a large coastal city with a thriving tourism industry and numerous old castle ruins.
Spagonia - A major city in south-western Eurish, capital of the Republic of Spagonia and a major cultural center in Eurish. Famed for its beautiful architecture, art museums, and centers of higher learning. Many rich and famous from around the world send their children to its many universities, including the famous Spagonia University.
Coolette - A modest farming village in southern Francia, formerly the seat of the Duchy of Coolette. The abandoned Chateau D'Coolette stands nearby.
Avalon Egg Army Base - A large citadel built up from an old castle. Currently the only major location controlled by the Eggman Empire in Eurish. Primarily used to harass the United Federation in northern Eurish and divert their attention away from other, more sensitive facilities. Used by Mordred Hood as a capital for his claim on the Kingdom of Avalon.

###Geography### Tralius is a continent in the southern hemisphere about where Australia would be located. The two distinctive features of Tralius are the outback - a large desert that makes up the center of the continent, and the coastal zone -  a mostly temperate climate located on the coast, although the northern coastal areas are more subtropical. [If a location in Tralius has geographic details that need to be filled in, feel free to substitute Australian geography to suit your needs.]
###History### Tralius was settled by several different peoples in ancient times and has had a steady, small amount of immigration ever since, primarily from Yurashia. For most of Tralius' history, its people were divided into various tribes which vied for control over the limited arable land and good fishing areas. While most disputes were settled non-violently, conflict and inter-tribal warfare did occasionally break out, thought not on the scale found in other regions (with the exception of Artika) due to the low population. This began to change about 500 y.a. when the first direct contact was made between Tralius and Northamer (and later Eurish through trade with Yurashia). While earlier trade with Yurashian merchants was purely an exchange of goods, the Northamer and Eurish merchants brought new technological, economic, and political ideas to Tralius.
While a few attempts were made at colonization from Eurish, most of these were abandoned and the settlers peacefully integrated into the local communities. Following this contact, Tralius began to modernize, with several, short-lived regional states forming, mostly around tribes, with the exception of a series of multi-ethnic states in south-western Tralius. This peroid saw two wars in close succession by powerful states attempting to seize control and unify Tralius by force (The first and second Tralius wars).
Immediately following the Second Tralius war, the Tralius Peace Congress (TPC) was convened to find a solution to further conflict. The result was single a unified state which would span the entire continent, the Tralius State. The creation of the Tralius State would begin a 150-year reign of peace in Tralius, with the State itself being a modern (for the time) representative republic (Effectively Australia, with bits of South-Africa). Because of this peace, from about 330 y.a. to 180 y.a., Tralius enjoyed stable economic growth and a blossoming scientific community. This golden age came to an end 180 y.a. with a severe drought and an economic crash which followed it. This one-two punch lead to a rise in popularity of several Nationalist Parties, most notably the Dingo Absolutist Party (DAP), the National Kangaroo-Devil Alliance Party (NKDAP), and the Emu Nationalist Party (ENP). Electoral disputes quickly erupted into armed conflict which lead to the Third Tralius War, also known as the Emu War 175 y.a. and the "disappearance" of most Thylacine from Tralius. Following the war, the ENP, now renamed the Tralius People's Party (TPP), began instituting Authoritarian rule in Tralius, effectively abolishing the republic in all but name. After a 20-year period of increasingly xenophobic and paranoid governance, the TPP's rule came to an end with the total collapse of the Tralius State 135 y.a., immediately followed by a descent into complete anarchy.
Following a 65-year period of anarchy, the United Federation intervened to restore order in Tralius. The United Federation's initial intervention methods were brutal (sometimes unofficially called the 'Fourth Tralius War') but did succeed in stabilizing the region long enough for their economic development policies to take effect. Following political turmoil 48 y.a., the United Federation terminated its intervention in Tralius, leaving several functional States on the coast and a lawless wasteland in the interrior. Since then the coastal states have formed a confederation with the intent of resurrecting the Tralius State. These efforts have been hampered, however, by Dr. Eggman who seeks to control Tralius and its abundant natural resources for himself, with the help of his Tralius Egg Army.

~48 y.a. - The United Federation pulls out of reconstruction, leaving Tralius with functioning coastal states and a lawless interior.
~5 or 8 y.a. - Dr. Eggman establishes the Tralius Egg Army and begins R&D and resource extraction operations in the Tralius outback.
###Society and Culture### Not much to speak of thanks to years of war and strife, although there is an oddly high value placed on education and the sciences (a legacy of the Tralius State).
###Factions### Tralius Confederation - A confederation of coastal states in Tralius which account for 70% of the population and control 95% of the farmland.
Tralius Egg Army - Dr. Eggmans Army in Tralius. Primary duties (aside from the conquest of Tralius in the name of the Eggman Empire) are mining the vast ore reserves of the Tralius outback, and primary R&D for the Eggman Empire NOT directly under the control of Dr. Eggman (unlike the Metropolis Egg Army Base and Research Facility).
###Locations### Tralius Egg Army Base - Primarily a research and development lab for egg army equipment, located safely away from the United Federation or any other enemies of the Eggman Empire.

Here’s an update to the overview, probably gonna keep changing this as more stuff gets added. Gonna move on to filling in the details now though.

Canon: The world established in the Nu-252 comics, minus the super genesis wave (whether or not Unleashed is canon should be at the author's discretion). The events in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2. The events of Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic Heroes, and Shadow the Hedgehog are partially canon -  some events may or may not differ from the way they are depicted in those games. Elements from other games may be canon, but the plot(s) either are not or else have not yet occurred.

Overall Geography matches Earth, with minor changes- Northamer - North America Soumerca - Central and South America Eurish - Europe Efrika - Sub-Saharan Africa or Africa as a whole Yurashia - Asia or Central and East Asia Midesta - The Middle East, Western Asia and/or North Africa Tralius - Australia Artika - The Artic Ocean and surrounding land, including the norther parts of Siberia, Alaska, Canada, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Greenland.
###FACTIONS### United Federation (and GUN)  -Federal Republic  -Covers much of Eurish, Northamer, and parts of Yurashia and Efrika, with some territory in Soumerca and Artika.  -A Republic, essentially the United States and European union combined.  -Large Military force.  -Allied with various other nations, at war with the Eggman Empire.
Eggman Empire  -Authoritarian Dictatorship with Feudal Leanings.  -Strong presence in Soumerca, Efrika, Midesta, and Tralius, with 'smaller' outposts in Yurashia, Northamer, and Artika, and an enclave in Avalon [British Isles] in Eurish.  -Less an empire and more of a rogue military force at this point (Think Brotherhood of Nod from Command and Conquer).  -At war with much of the rest of the world.

Efrica Egg Army Base - Located at the edge of the Guinea region south of Mazuri (Note: since it is closer to England (Avalon) than Iraq (Shamar) - 2700 vs 3400 miles). Contains a large motorpool, among other facilities. One of the larger Egg Army Bases.
--Eurish-- Spagonia - A major city in southern or south-western Eurish (in either Spain or Italy or the equivalent). It contains a large university, Spagonia University. Part of the United Federation, it is safely away from the frontlines of the ongoing global conflict.
Apotos - A large city in south-eastern Eurish (in Greece or the equivalent). Part of the United Federation, it is also safely away from the frontlines of the ongoing global conflict.
Soleanna - A prosperous city-state in south-eastern Eurish (like Venice but on the Croatian or Montenegrin coast). Not part of the United Federation, although it is closely associated with it.
Coolette - A now modest farming village in Auvergne (or equivalent), with the now-abandoned Castle D'Coolette standing nearby.
Avalon Egg Army Base - A large, heavily fortified citadel in Avalon (British Isles), and the only presence of the Eggman Empire in Eurish. Also called the Sylvanian Egg Army Base (eg. Britian vs. England).
--Midesta-- Shamar - A large city in Mesopotamia (or equivalent). NOT part of the United Federation.  Has been the scene of numerous conflicts in recent history. Currently contested by the Eggman Empire.
Midesta Egg Army Base - Located in the desert near Shamar (think Petra), specializing in desert warfare. One of the larger Egg Army Bases.
Babylon - 400 or 500 year old ruins of a once-great city located in the desert. Ancestral homeland of the Battle-Bird Armada and other (mainly avian) mobians.
--Northamer-- Empire City - A sprawling metropolis and the economic engine of the United Federation's Northamer territories (Essentially New York City, and located in about the same location). Under zero threat from any kind of overt attack by the Eggman Empire. clandestine operations, however, are another matter entirely.
Central City - Capital of the United Federation. Located in the Bay Area on the Pacific coast (Essentially San Francisco).
Westopolis - Another significantly large city in the United Federation. Located about midway between Empire City and Central City (think Chicago). Suffered significant damage recently, but has recovered quite well.
G.U.N. Headquarters - Headquarter for the Guardian Unit of Nations. Located either in or near Central City.
G.U.N Fortress - A major military installation and command center for G.U.N. (similar to Cheyenne Mountain).
Prison Island - A tropical island in the western pacific. Previously used by the United Federation and G.U.N. as a naval base and high security prison/depository. Since destroyed and left abandoned.
Northamer Egg Army Base - A small outpost located in an isolated part of Northamer (possibly around the area of Montana or Wyoming).
Metropolis - Important industrial center of the Eggman Empire and a major research hub. A quasi-capital of the Eggman Empire. Located somewhere in the south-east of Northamer, far away from Empire City and within flying distance of the Mystic Ruins. (Note: put it here because it wouldn't make sense for it and Mobotropolis to be so close to each other and not be constantly fighting, also needed to be close to the Mystic Ruins)
--Oceania-- Mobotropolis - Capital of the Kingdom of Acorn, a pastoral city located on Westside Island in the Acorn Archipelago in the south pacific (somewhere in Polynesia or Micronesia).
Meropis - Underwater City-Kingdom located off the coast of Soumerca, near Station Square.
Angel Island - A floating island typically found floating above the Pacific Ocean. Originally located near the Mystic Ruins before it became airborne. Contains many ancient ruins as well as left-over bases used by Doctor Eggman.
--Soumerca-- Station Square - A large city in the United Federation with a thriving tourism and entertainment industry. Located in the north of Soumerca, along the Pacific coast near the Mystic Ruins (think Acapulco with a dash of New York). Badly damaged by Perfect Chaos, but has mostly recovered.
Mystic Ruins - Ruins of an Ancient Echidna city. Dotted with archeological sites and small villages.
Harbor Heights - A small seaside resort town. Part of the United Federation.
Soumerca Egg Army Base - Located somewhere in the Jungles of Soumerca (most likely somewhere in either the Amazon, the Yucatan, Nicaragua, Venezuela, or Colombia).
--Tralius-- Tralius Egg Army Base - Primarily a research and development lab for egg army equipment, for this reason it is located far away from any United Federation territory.
--Yurashia-- Chun-Nan - Large, populated, coastal region in East Yurashia (around where Guangdong or Fujian are). Currently in a period of political upheaval, many parts of the county have been rendered effectively lawless while warlords fight for control. Can also refer to the greater area around Chu-Nan proper (effectively China).
Adabat - A costal city in South-East Yurasia. Part of the United Federation.
Yurashia Egg Army Base - Destroyed. Previously an outpost and special forces training center.

Rotor Walrus - Resident inventor and mechanic for the freedom fighters. Often collaborates with Tails when the two of them meet. Originally from Artika. Left after the death of his mother and an abusive childhood.

Trevor Burrow the Mole - Member of the Desert Raiders and close friends with Sonar and Spike. Completely blind, but mostly made up for with his other senses heightened as a result.
###Chu-nan### Dulcy the Dragon - The somewhat shy leader of the Shijin Warriors. Formerly a member of the Eastern Forest Clan (before she ran away). Friends with Princess Sally and Sonic, as well as the other Shijin Warriors. Can fly and breath fire.
Jian the Tiger - Member of the Shijin warriors and former member of the Yurashia Egg Army. (Former) childhood friend of Conquering Storm.
Bunker the Tortoise - Monk, shrine matron, and member of the Shijin warriors.
Cinder the Pheasant - Junior member of the Shijin warriors and assistant to Bunker the Tortoise.
###Eggman Empire### Dr. Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik - Would-be world emperor and self-proclaimed "greatest scientific genius in the world". Most folks just call him Dr. Eggman now. Holds doctoral degrees in Engineering, Philosophy, Science, and Medicine, granted by himself, of course.
##Northamer Egg Army## Clove the Pronghorn - Egg Boss of Northamer and Cassia's older sister. Only follows Eggman for a cure to her sister's disease, although that may change soon. Is a surprisingly skilled fighter (probably in the top 3 for the Egg Bosses) but prefers a diplomatic approach most of the time, unless her friends or family are threatened.
Cassia the Pronghorn - Co-Egg Boss of Northamer and Clove's younger sister. Suffers from an incurable disease and receives ongoing treatment for it from Eggman, making her and her sister dependent on Eggman. Competent fighter Loves videogames.
##Soumerica Egg Army## Thunderbolt the Chinchilla - Egg Boss of Soumerica and Dr. Eggman's self-proclaimed 'number-one-fan'. One of the few genuinely loyal members of eggman's forces.
##Efrica Egg Army## Axel the Water Buffalo - Egg Boss of Efrica and talented Mechanic. Leader of a biker gang before joining up with Eggman, now leads them as the Efrica Egg Army.
##Artika Egg Army## Turndra the Walrus - Artika Egg Boss and Rotor's father. Originally the chief of one of two major tribes before submitting to Eggman. Believes in survival of the fittest and that the strongest should rule. A fierce fighter, tends to think of things in black and white.
##Norther Oceans Egg Army## Akhlut the Orca - Egg Boss of the northern oceans and rival/enemy of Tundra. Ferocious in combat and a bit of a sadist. Can be manipulative, but tends to favor brute strength.
##Southern Oceans Egg Army## Abyss the Squid - Egg Boss of the southern oceans. Former member of the Pirates of the Setting Dawn and self-proclaimed 'greatest pirate who ever lived'. Loves everything about the pirate life, especially the drinking.
##Tralius Egg Army## Maw the Thylacine - Egg Boss of Tralius. A scientist and inventor in his own right, also one of the few genuinely loyal members of Eggman's forces, although more for selfish reasons. Very little is known about his true motivations. May be a war criminal.
##Midesta Egg Army## Nephthys the Vulture - Egg Boss of Midesta. An old war veteran and a mentor to Spike, Sonar, and Trevor. Prefers to avoid conflict, after having seen the destruction caused by Midesta's periodic wars firsthand. Respected by those under her, many of whom served with her before Eggman arrived.
##Avalon Egg Army## Mordred Hood - Lord of Avalon (Sylvania), acting as the Eggman Empire's Egg Boss for the region. While noble by birth, no-one else recognizes his claim to the throne. Only still in power because Eggman is backing him.
##Yurashia Egg Army## Conquering Storm - Egg Boss of Chu-nan and leader of a formerly-independent clan which now make up the bulk of the Yurasia Egg Army. Driven to unify Greater Chu-nan and bring an end to the conflict and strife in central and western Chu-nan (think Warlord-era China).
##Battle Bird Armada## Battle Lord Kukku XV - "Fifteenth son of a noble lineage" which streches back around 400-500 years to the destruction of the city of Babylon and leader of the Battle Bird Armada. Only works for Eggman to avoid having to fight both Eggman and The United Federation. plans on breaking away from Eggman when the opportunity presents itself.
Speedy (Battle Lord Kukku XVI) - Son of Kukku and heir to the Battle Bird Armada. Acts mature when 'on the job', but still has a childish streak in him. Secretly loves videogames.
###Black Arms### Black Doom [Dead] - (Former) Leader of the Black Arms. Tried to eat the inhabitants of the World.
Eclipse the Darkling - Last member of the Black Arms? Half-Brother to Shadow by blood, not that Shadow would ever admit that. Vengeful and lost, not sure of anything other than getting revenge on Shadow for destroying the Black Arms.

Northamer Egg Army Base - A small outpost located in an isolated part of Northamer (possibly around the area of Montana or Wyoming).
Metropolis - Important industrial center of the Eggman Empire and a major research hub. A quasi-capital of the Eggman Empire. Located somewhere in the
south-east of Northamer, far away from Empire City and within flying distance of the Mystic Ruins. (Note: put it here because it wouldn't make sense for it
and Mobotropolis to be so close to each other and not be constantly fighting, also needed to be close to the Mystic Ruins)
--Oceania-- Mobotropolis - Capital of the Kingdom of Acorn, a pastoral city located on Westside Island in the Acorn Archipelago in the south pacific (somewhere in
Polynesia or Micronesia).
Meropis - Underwater City-Kingdom located off the coast of Soumerca, near Station Square.
Angel Island - A floating island typically found floating above the Pacific Ocean. Originally located near the Mystic Ruins before it became airborne.
Contains many ancient ruins as well as left-over bases used by Doctor Eggman.
--Soumerca-- Station Square - A large city in the United Federation with a thriving tourism and entertainment industry. Located in the north of Soumerca, along the
Pacific coast near the Mystic Ruins (think Acapulco with a dash of New York). Badly damaged by Perfect Chaos, but has mostly recovered.
Mystic Ruins - Ruins of an Ancient Echidna city. Dotted with archeological sites and small villages.
Harbor Heights - A small seaside resort town. Part of the United Federation.
Soumerca Egg Army Base - Located somewhere in the Jungles of Soumerca (most likely somewhere in either the Amazon, the Yucatan, Nicaragua, Venezuela, or
Colombia).
--Tralius-- Tralius Egg Army Base - Primarily a research and development lab for egg army equipment, for this reason it is located far away from any United Federation
territory.
--Yurashia-- Chun-Nan - Large, populated coastal region in East Yurashia (around where Guangdong or Fujian are). Currently in a period of political upheaval, many parts
of the county have been rendered effectively lawless while warlords fight for control.
Yurashia Egg Army Base - Destroyed. Previously an outpost and special forces training center.

About
The main goal here is to create a sort-of Sonic fan-universe encyclopedia to make it easier for fans to write fanfiction /create fan art /etc.  by pooling together the existing elements from the games, comics, etc. and fanfiction /headcanons /fancharacters /fanart /etc.
In other words, do some of the heavy-lifting world-building for the fanfic writers /fanartists and free up their creativity /inspire them /etc.
Feel free to submit elements that you think should be in it (even if they’re you own headcanon /fancharacters).  Don’t expect replies or frequent updates.  Might try to put the results on a wiki later.  This will be a long-term project.
Also, only submit something of yours if you are ok with other people using it.
