Leo only glared at her.

Big Mama flourishes the remote and presses a green button.

He can only draw in a single breath before excruciating pain engulfs his entire body. He convulses and writhes on the floor, his body utterly disregarding his commands. Moments swiftly transform into minutes until the agony fades, leaving Leo a limp, breathless heap on the ground.

“Now, do you want to try that again?”

“Yes.”

Big Mama presses his face hard against the floor. “Yes, what?”

“Yes, ma’am,” he grinds out.

I headcanon that Siffrin has trouble eating after the loops. It probably didn't help that Bonnie would make food that Siffrin would eat all the time during the loops.

(Which he always forced himself to eat).

It's incredible the amount of plot holes in Danny Phantom that are easily fixed if only the plot were a little darker.

Like Tucker's fear of hospitals and doctors from Doctor's Disorders, for example.

To be precise, the fact that Danny had apparently no idea that Tucker goes downright catatonic whenever he passes in front of the nurse's office as a result of his fear of anything medical related but Sam did. Especially since Danny and Tucker have known each other for as long as they've known Sam, if not longer.

If the plot were a little bit darker/more mature and didn't shy away from heavy topics like human mortality or that Danny actually died in the accident and came back to (half) life, this would all have a very simple explanation.

Danny didn't know about Tucker's fear of hospitals because it's a recent thing, while Sam does because she was there when it happened.

In other words, if you ask me, Tucker could have developed his fear after Danny's accident. After spending who knows how long inside a hospital waiting for news of his best friend's recovery, with each passing second spent there being a constant reminder of the possibility that Danny might not make it. Thus, his fear would be a result of anything medical reminding him of those agonising times and of the fear he felt at the idea of losing his best friend forever. And Sam would know about it but not Danny because she was right there by Tucker's side as they both waited while Danny was being treated and remained unaware of the world going on around him.

And just like that, you fix a plot hole, and add layers to the story, the characters and their interpersonal dynamics in one fell swoop.

Isabeau's expression shifts so quickly that you wonder if you saw any anger there in the first place. His hands immediately drop from your arms, and he backs away like something's wrong.

One of my many, many favorite things about the third Sonic movie was seating in my seat and waiting until the very, very end of the movie. Like, I remember sitting and seeing the first credits scene and thinking, "Maybe there'll be more."

You know, because Marvel does the same thing?!

I also remember staring at all the people leaving and laughing under my breath like the absolute child I am and going, "Fools. Don't they know?"

But seriously I was glad when the other post credits scene played.

Isabeau leans down and brushes the tips of Siffrin’s hair away from their neck with a gentle hand.

That’s when you get a better look at the bruises.

Despite Mirabelle’s quick intervention, the bruises were still prominent around Siffrin’s pale neck. However, the more you stare at them, the more you realize they resemble something.

The image finally clicks in your head, and you feel sick.

“They–“ Your words fail you, and you gulp and try again. “They look like–“

“Handprints,” Isabeau finishes for you. “They’re handprints. Someone put their hands around Siffrin’s neck, and they –”

Isabeau doesn’t finish his sentence, but you know what he wanted to say.

Anger burns hot and heavy in your chest, and you dig your nails into your palms.

“Isabeau,” you grit out. You take a deep breath. “Let’s keep this between you and me, for now.” -- The extent of Siffrin's injuries, as well as his time in the loops, start coming to light.
