While speaking in the gonasleng, the Sankru speaks with an accent. A mix of the current Northeast Ohio accent and a Scottish accent, they often leave out end t’s, ‘the’ becomes ‘t’ ’, and varying other aspects of the accents. While the origins of the accent are unknown, it is dominant within the culture -- especially in the clans directly linked to the founding families.
