idk i think its like more of a comfort thing for me: toriel having absolutely no one to talk to but some nigga who tells her jokes and who HAS been telling her jokes and talking through the door for possible EONS its just so like. Sweet. Theyre so close and friendly.

And in deltarune they JUST MET for like two days ago and im not saying you CANT ship niggas who just met but im saying for me, and for the context of their character, neither of those guys would believe in hookup culture. Or just. Love at first sight. Undertale soriel makes more sense but deltarune soriel i cant really see it even besides the "haha fucked ur mom" moment

For me soriel is just like papyrus and undyne. Theyre very close and very good friends built up on circumstances and they both like. Trust eachother and stuff. Like they do have genuine love for eachother . Its just not like . Yknow the way its portrayed by "the media" tm like all romantical and shit. I think its comforting. Like its like. Sweet. Yknow??
