He was quite relaxed against the bar as if they were just old friends catching up, his smile was that easy too, George always held an easy going energy even with complete strangers. "Uh... yes, I put rum in it, some other things to add a little flavor and ice... oh and arsenic of course," he said, a playfulness teasing in his tone before he eyed the drink and smirked. George watched her for a moment before she set the drink down and coughed into her arm, a reaction he hadn't been anticipating but it told him about her night before she'd even said anything. So it had been a date. That had been his guess but it had been busy and he hadn't been outright staring at her throughout the night.

"Fuck that creep, he tipped shit too, you can always tell what kind of person someone is by how they treat waiters and bartenders," George said, shifting to prop his cheek against his left palm, his head nodding a few times before he continued. "-- lovely to meet you Amanda, I'm George." He slid his right hand forward and offered it for a handshake, smile still in place. "Do you like bonfires, Amanda?" George narrowed his eyes, a playful mysteriousness rolling off him in waves as he eyed her curiously.

she had come here on a date, but said date wasn't going too well, because amanda decided she didn't WANT to go home with the guy. he gave off a terrible vibe and amanda was in tune with people's vibes and their auras and this guy was not it. she shoved him when he tried to feel her up and she sighed when he snapped at her and left. she rolled her eyes and decided to stick around to get drunk, honestly. she downed a couple of shots and she tipped her head back for a moment until someone was approaching her. it was the cute bartender. honestly, she'd paid more attention to him than she had her date and that probably had to do with some of the problems, too.

her eyebrows rose when he handed her a drink and she bit into her lip, "you didn't put anything in here, did you?" she asked, giving him a look. but when he winked, she smirked and sipped from the drink. "oh, that's sweet," she said and her eyes widened. "but it is fun." she took another sip from it and set it down. when he asked about her friend, she snorted and coughed into her elbow. "he got pissed that i wasn't gonna go home with him, so that ended that date. he was not a good guy. his vibe was all off and i could feel it from the moment he sat down, so i saved myself hell." amanda smiled and shrugged. "i'm amanda..." she said and sipped from the drink.
