Dropping a short - but juicy! - list of recommendations for this long weekend in the never-ending saga of COVID-19. I specifically chose television shows that can be finished in this one weekend (hence how short it is!) and have concluded their run.

All of these shows should keep you on the edge of you seat for the full 3 days.

*United States has a holiday on Monday, May 25th to commemorate those in the military who have died.*

Recommendations:

Teen Wolf (Season 1 - 3B) - Amazon Prime 

Created by MTV (which is weird to type but they did a great job!)

Few sci-fi shows I have seen are better than the first three seasons of this gem. Later seasons are okay but the first three can stand alone. 

Sense8 - Netflix

I cried when I found out this show was cancelled. Its so good....and one of the few shows you have to watch without doing something else. 

Penny Dreadful - Netflix

Created by Showtime

I’m not one for horror but I am team vampire all day. This show is a slow build sleeper hit that is worth the time.

Luke Cage - Netflix

Mahershala Ali! Alfre Woodard! Harlem! 

The Handmaid’s Tale - Hulu

A little heavy for the current climate but also great characters to throw any anger at!

COVID-19. COVID-19. COVID-19. COVID-19 has understandably rocked the world and *some* of us are reeling from this pandemic. The past few weeks have been a blur for me and I sought solace in reading. I have now resurfaced from books and started watching movies and tv again! Ayyyy. So excited.

This list is hella light so I plan to make it grow as rapidly as I can. I’m circling back to all the movies in late 2019/early 2020 I didn’t watch while tracking what is dropping on streaming sites. Clearly, I am getting my money’s worth out of Disney+. HAHA
