i found out about guinea pigs through that 2-part episode and I had been obsessing over them for a while and eventually got my own 2. I've had them for almost 2 years now and one of them just died today of cancer, South Park has been something I really enjoyed over the last few years and that guinea pig was my whole world. (i have another dw she wasn't alone) i love South Park and then it introduced me to something that I would love even more, guinea pigs. i miss my sweet Valerie even though it hasn't even been a day yet. im gonna start crying but i will forever remember the joy she has brought me and the show that introduced me to that. you don't have to post this ask but I just had to get that out. I'm sorry for making this really sad since most of the asks are just silly things

I've always found it a little sad, and even ooc how Kyle gives up so quickly when it comes to helping Stan in a difficult times, and no, this is not about the "Kyle helps Cartman more than Stan, kyman canon" argument because I'm not interested in the kyman vs style war and it doesn't even seem like something exclusive to Kyle for Cartman in my opinion. I think I've seen Kyle try harder to help/support secondary characters than Stan, and I'm not even referring to Ike, because with him it's understandable, but to characters like Blanket, Mr. Hankey, Leslie, etc. he literally went into debt for life to help the town. I could say it's because Stan kinda rejects his help and his problems are usually emotional and Kyle doesn't know how to deal with that, since I don't think Kyle even knows how to deal with his own emotional problems in a healthy way, he usually deals with them with angry outbursts, pretending everything is okay or faking to fit in, however I feel that even that doesn't fully justify it since I think I felt him trying harder to understand and help Heidi (whose main problem was also mainly emotional and didn't accept Kyle's help right away either.) than he did for Stan. Let me clarify that this isn't meant to demonize Kyle and call him a bad friend, nor to victimize Stan. While we've seen him make an effort to help Kyle in some episodes, there are also others where he betrays him and mistreats him. So I don't think one is actually that much of a better friend than the other overall. I just wanted to vent a little about it.
